This is a great place for all your garden needs and home repairs and bbqing stuff. I like this place. They are friendly and show you where things are located. The parking is easy and it's a big place. Lots to look at. I think it's clean and organized. It's a busy place. I recommend coming here, it's definitely my first choice and a good alternative than the regular home improvement stores. read more

as of today still no concrete although it was promised by the 19 of October. it's fully paid. I went to store several times and spoke with manager. the concrete was delivered to wrong store. but the shipment has not been corrected. the manager says there's nothing he can do. itll get here eventually. well my contractor is waiting! I trusted this business to hold up their end of our contract. ACE Pahoa I'm extremely dissatisfied with your service. I would never tell a customer there's nothing to be done. Best Ace Hardware I have been to yet (and I've been to almost every Ace in the islands.) The managers there are super friendly and helped me so much with what I needed. Kent was especially helpful with helping me pick out what I needed to buy. All of the employees are really knowledgeable when it comes to the products in the store. Staff was also very prompt when it comes to people coming into the store with improper face masks; which lets me know they care about their customers. read more

Both me and my boyfriend got yelled at here by the clerk. Then after we paid, they refused to give us a receipt. My boyfriend saw it on his phone that his card was charged. He had to threaten the clerk with calling the police to get his money back. Unprofessional, disgusting store. read more

There are no "big box" hardware/home remodeling stores in our little town of Pahoa, but the folks at Ace stock an amazing variety of stuff in this small store. Friendly staff and always helpful. I've been in a pinch many, many times, like when I've needed a special pipe fitting or a metric bolt for a broken tractor and they've always come through. My only request: extend your hours into the evening. read more
