Nick came out to do the inspection for my parents today. I had the most professional, above and beyond, awesome, and fantastic inspection from Nick. Not only does he go above and beyond what his contract even states he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty and thorough doesn't begin to cover it. I am rarely impressed these days because it would seem customer service doesn't mean much anymore but when you call Ace Home Inspection you will be absolutely shocked at how professional, kind, understanding, honest, thorough, and patient they are. We found Nick through a google search - I couldn't be more thankful!!! We purchased a new home back in May of 2017 and had Nick come out to do an initial inspection. We are so glad we did! There were a couple things that the builder missed that could have caused damage in the future. We just had him back out for an 11 Month inspection prior to our home warranty expiring. Nick at ACE was great! I am confident that he did a thorough inspection. My husband was stuck in a meeting and came late for Nick's verbal report, which gave great explanations and helpful photo examples, but Nick went back over the information my husband missed. Nick kindly answered all my "dumb" questions, and treated them as if they were good questions. Ace's fees are a worthwhile investment. Nick's full written inspection report was waiting for me in my in-box the next morning. Nick started working even before entering the home. He saw flaws in the roof just standing in the condo complex road. He quietly went about doing his work, but he was friendly whenever I spoke to him. He was very thorough and went into the crawl space and attic area. He found a roof leak and organisms I would call mold, so the deal was off. Still, he went over all he'd found, showed me photos, and e-mailed his report. Nick was great! We were doing our final walkthrough with the builder and Nick just did what he needed to do while we were busy. After we were done with the builder, Nick walked us through everything that he had done and gave us all of the pictures he had taken. Some people will say that you don't need an inspector to come in for new construction but Nick found a couple of things that would have cost us in the long run and made it well worth the cost. Inofrmation is provided in a way where you are clear about what needs to be addressed immediately and what can be addressed at a later point in time. I can't say enough good things about Nick. He was able to schedule out inspection within 3 days, and the cost was less than I budgeted. During the inspection, he was thorough and efficient.
