I could tell you how he -- completely unsolicited --offered to walk through the report in person with me whenever I got into Washington for the home sale. But Y'ALL. Let me tell you instead how I called this guy nearly TWO YEARS AFTER THE INSPECTION in a panic during the last big freeze when an exterior hose bib failed. Why? Because a) the water company had come through and updated the water meter, changing the look of the main shut-off (rendering my limited experience with the valve totally useless), and b) no plumber would come out, since they were responding to 19,383,629 other freeze-related emergencies. I expected NOTHING from this guy at this point: it was the hailiest of Hail Mary's. Instead, I got a quick "I'm on my way" from him. WHAT?!? When he got there, found another shut-off, and kept me from going without water (and my house from floating away on its own plumbing-failure river), my shriveled little Grinchy heart DID grow three sizes that day! J is good people doing good work. I will never work with anyone else for home inspections.

This inspection report proved beyond any shadow of doubt that the inspection was conducted by a incompetent, uninformed person that either never read the the written code books or did not understand what the code books were stating. As such it cost the seller thousands of dollars to prove the useless condemnations that the inspection falsely stated. Human error is always possible and understandable but gross negligence and a vivid lack of understanding what the code states and how it is applied is criminal. I would suggest that one hires competent qualified professionals to complete a knowledgeable competent home inspection

The report states that the venting above the gas stove was working properly but there is no vent at all there, and that has been an ongoing issue in my house. The report also states that the water dispenser in the fridge was working normally but there is not even a water line connected to the refrigerator. I had read really good reviews about this business, so I had hoped for the same. Unfortunately it was a sub par inspection.
