Oh my! Excellent service from start to finish. Very professional, reasonably priced, and respectful of my place -- everything was kept clean throughout. Bar called me when he was 20 minutes away, which I really appreciated, and he showed up on the early side of the time window he gave me. Bar showed me multiple pictures of my chimney as it was, which was nice because who is ever on their roof? He then gave me a few options without any pressure, which I really appreciated. Bar is a low-key guy who's confident in his pricing. I did a quick Google search on typical chimney sweep costs, and he was right in the middle. I decided to go ahead and get it done. He was very thorough and took his time. I watched him working on the chimney from my deck (ranch house) and could tell he's meticulous and detail-oriented. Afterward, Bar showed me pictures of the completed work, and it looked great. What impressed me even more is how many different services this company offers beyond chimney work. I'll be getting quotes from him for a new deck replacement versus repairing the existing one. And heck, while he was here, I also mentioned a section of my gutter that may need some TLC from a past storm. Bar is truly a jack of all trades, and I'm so glad we crossed paths. In 2025 my chimney was leaking. I contacted this company. On my invoice it said FLASHING SEALANT...we applied new sealant to the chinney flashing to ensure a watertight seal and prevent any potential leaks. Well I wasn't sure that the job was even done, because I didn't see the guy use anything, and it was like he kept shielding himself like no work was being done. When he was done pretending to work I asked about a warrant, and was told that it was a 3yr warranty. Afterwards I had the repair work done on the chimney inside the house from the leak (plaster). months later I'm having the same problem. The new plaster is wet. I called them out again, and because they did not want to honor their warranty I was told that I needed a new brick chimney. Of course I didn't believe them, and I told them if I did I wouln't use them. I called out two other companies, and of course I didn't need a new chimney! They never fixed the problem, and if they did it was not done to standard. Unfortunately months later I had to pay another company for a job that they were paid to do. They should have stood by their warranty. This sight allows you to edit your post, so right after posting I see that the owner responded...with all lies!!! I will not go back and forth with you. What would it benefit me to lie about your poor service. There were no before, or after photos provided. My chimney does not and never has had drywall around it. My brick work is GOOD just like the other companies has stated. No unrelated issues developed...none! That's why the other company (Cochran Exteriors) came out and did the job that your company supposedly had done....nothing more and nothing less! If I needed a new chimney I'm sure the other companies would have liked to had made more money like you tried to make, but my brick chimney is in good condition unlike how bad you're trying to make it seem. We had Ace at our house to install a new log set for our gas fireplace. They did so but I realized after reading the manual that it was an unvented log set in our vented fireplace. When I asked to have it replaced they said they understood so they came out with a new vented log set. So far, so good. But they had trouble fitting the new log set to the gas line, so they replaced the gas line from the main valve into the firebox. When all was done we began using the fireplace and discovered the pilot was very noisy. We also noticed the fireplace now had a metallic bang about 20 minutes after it was shut off every time. We had them out again to check the noises and basically there was nothing they could do or offer. Throughout the process the guys were pleasant and responsive, but they often seeemed as if they didn't exactly know what to do next and were on the phone for help. We ultimately decided for safety's sake to have another company inspect the fireplace. They told us that when the Ace guys worked on the gas line they cut a hole in the firebox. Though they had put patch in the hole, that's not an appropriate or approved strategy in a standard gas fireplace. The only safe solution would be a new firebox for about $10k installed. We consulted a second company and they said the same thing. While we could have gone back to Ace to demand a repair we no longer trusted them to do it right. We would not recommend them. We are replacing the entire firebox for about $10k. read more

The tech did a terrible job cleaning out our dryer vent. He didn't do the job right and it was $250. He refused to clean it from the outside because it was lightning out even though the storm passed. The service technician had no idea what he was doing. He looked completely lost, like a deer caught in headlights, and even the person he called for help was just as clueless. It was a colossal waste of time. He couldn't even put the unit back the way he found it. Do not trust this company with any item that needs repair. Sending untrained, unknowledgeable, and unskilled individuals under the guise of professional service is false advertising, false representation--and some might even call it a scam. This is especially concerning for the elderly, who deserve protection in these situations. After the unit was taken apart and not reassembled correctly, we are left unsure whether it is even safe to use. How can someone claiming to be experienced not know how to reassemble the unit? From start to finish, there were red flags everywhere. We now need to find a reputable, experienced company to service the unit properly, ensure it is safe, and reassemble it correctly. When we asked the company to fix what he had undone, he was rude and hung up. On the next call, we were told someone would return, but no one showed up, and no one called. Absolutely horrible service the kid they sent out was very unprofessional couldn't do anything for himself had to be on the phone the whole time, had no idea what he was talking about and scammed my mom fo 69 dollars and did absolutely no chimney inspection or cleaning even though i repeatedly asked while the "tech" was there and its interesting you they got sent out by "bho" very interesting and quoted a 300 dollar job at 1500 very interesting indeed. read more
