Please do NOT purchase a home without getting your own inspection done (IMO). They started work first thing the next morning, replacing the broken equipment, and then upgraded our furnace and AC units to more efficient models. They double checked that some of the older equipment from the house was handling the updates correctly. We have HomeServe insurance, so we contacted them and they dispatched Varsity Zone HVAC - Fishers to our house on Monday before noon. The General Manager came out, repaired it, then got frustrated with how to reattach the top of the unit, so he attempted to finish it incorrectly, which damaged the coil, destroyed the unit, which made the freon spew everywhere. He uttered a curse word and said, "Looks like you're getting a new unit today." It is now FRIDAY, we do NOT have a new unit. We have suffered through 6 miserable days of 90+ degree weather outside. Inside our house, it has been 90-100+ degrees at times. Varsity will not take ownership of their mistake. They will not return our calls. This is unacceptable and negligible. We have children, one with an autoimmune disease, 2 dogs, and they have not offered any resolution, nor have they offered fans or window units. If you have a choice in who you use for your AC/Heating company, DO NOT use this company. If the General Manager is this negligible and irresponsible, I cannot imagine what the rest of their techs are like.

I've had another home inspected recently by a competitor, Jonathan was in a totally different league. His report isn't just a book filled with pictures, he takes the time to type out the issues & he doesn't just copy and paste. I am in the process of accumulating rental properties in the area, all of which were built in the 1940's. Going forward, I am trusting Jonathan with the due diligence for all of these properties. I used the most recent inspection report as a checklist for my HVAC work, plumbing & also for my GC to get things done. He really does a good job breaking things down & annotating.

He used a vent camera to find and show me that it was a break in the dryer vent at the 90 degree bend with what appeared to be insulation. I was crushed. It had to be reconnected in the soffit. Scott said he could do it! He had the tools and other parts. Well it was more involved that he thought but he kept at it and fixed it completely! Tested air flow and all is good. This is one talented individual who will do a great job. He's professional, communicates with you from start to finish so you know what's going on, charges reasonable rates, and is very conscientious. Could not be more happy!

We needed a quote for mold remediation before making a counteroffer on a house, and our inspector…read morerecommended AdvantaClean. I called the AdvantaClean South Suburban Indianapolis team and Victor actually went down to the house the same day and e-mailed a quote the following day. I also received a complete explanation of the process that would be used and the scope of the work, the material safety data sheets on the chemicals, and "Five Mold Myths" which really helped put the whole mold issue in perspective ("it's not the next asbestos"). The team answered all my questions, always returning phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner. As they did the remediation, they explained things step by step, and even though it was miserably hot I never heard one complaint. Between the heat and the old part of the crawlspace the job took longer than anticipated, but they never cut corners or rushed to get done - in fact, they had to come back the next day to finish because they wanted to make sure it was done properly. They worked hard, did a very thorough job, cleaned everything up, and the bonus was how polite and considerate they were. I would highly recommend this team!
