Kenny and JD came to my rescue again! They are always on time, professional and hardworking. The team at ACE Moving in San Leandro did a perfect job in relocating us from Emeryville to Richmond recently. We had the double-whammy of haivng to move out of a 3rd story apartment into a house with steep stairs on a hill and also needed a storage unit moved to the house as well. They were very accomodating at being able to stop at one place , navigate elevators and narrow passages then fill the truck at the 2nd stop of the storage facility and bring it all over to the house in one shot. I just want to share with my moving peers that yesterday i had the best experience working with JD and with Ken. They were on time, they were great to work with, they were diligent accomodating and knew exactly what we needed. Their experience was amazing and i couldn't thank them enough for helping us get settled into our new home without any hitches. Another great thing was that the guidance from the phone conversation and their mailing instructions that told us tips and advice on how to prepare for the move and also what we could do also made it easy. If you pack what you can first and make it easier for them to obtain and guide them to what you need to move over, they would accommodate. They even moved my potted lavenders!!! im so happy!!!! These guys were excellent! They managed to move a 3-story 4 bedroom house to another 3-story 5 bedroom house! They were well organized and packed everything safely. NOTHING got damaged. These guys are the best! I used them back in 2012 to move my dad's stuff into his new retirement community and they were so easy to work with and so careful with his things that I kept their card for the future. Now here I am again, moving my aunt from her house to her new retirement community. I was working on a tight time frame and with a two story home where all the furniture she needed was on the second floor. Roberto and his crew were beyond amazing! When I called in Jean does a great job of explaining all costs including those for any wrap or tape used. I have used many movers in the past and NEVER had such a positive experience that I did with Ace Movers!!!! They were very professional, kind, and even made sure I didn't pick up even the small stuff being 7 months pregnant. They finished a very challenging move with several flights of stairs in less time than I planned and even recommended ways to make it faster as the move was going on. They also NEVER stopped hustling, they moved quickly the entire time. I am so impressed, I would recommend Ace to anyone and everyone. If I could give 10 stars I would. My girlfriend and I just had one of the most uplifting, low-drama moving experiences of our lives working with J.D. and Kenny from Ace Moving on Wednesday. These two are absolute professionals: prompt, pleasant to work with, thoughtful and diligent. The guys were right on time to greet us in the morning (even a couple minutes early, imagine that!) and got right to work on loading up the truck after some paperwork. They were careful with our fragile items, getting them in pillowed storage first, then mowed down a concrete forest of boxes. With minimal guidance from us besides an initial walkthrough, they managed to pack up our 2-bed/2-bath apartment in 4 hours flat. Upon arriving at our new space, they went through a run-down of our furniture and where we wanted it to go. Not only did they know our inventory better than we did by this point, but they remembered where each and every piece was headed for the remainder of the move. The truck was emptied in about 2.5 hours and we were all set to go. It's our sincere hope that it's many years before we have to move again, but whenever we do, we know who we're calling. I would highly recommend these guys in a pinch. I requested an emergency move and only gave them a 24 hour notice.
