We were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of St. Francis, but more importantly by the exceptional service. From the lady thay checks you in at the front desk to the vet. Everybody was incredibly kind to our Roxy who was apprehensive and nervous. By about mid-way through the appointment Roxy had calmed down a ton because of all of the love and affection she was receiving from the staff. She got her shots updated and a clean bill of health. I mean what kind of urgent care doesn't accept walk ins? Come on Albuquerque vets get it together! Yikes! Anyways I was happy to get help right away as I was worried about my dog in the condition she was in. To be frank I was honestly avoiding this trip the previous couple days hoping the issue with my dog would resolve itself. Unfortunately by the 3rd day it appeared worse so I had to get my dog checked. Everything went great until they showed me the estimate for a diagnostic test. Oh boy that was a hard pill for me to swallow. Hesitantly I agreed to paying the bill. After about 3 hrs they were able to get a diagnosis and send me off with some stuff to help my dog. I am grateful to see my dog on the mend since my visit but the cost was hard to stomach. I honestly hope I don't need to bring her back in anytime soon cuz my wallet definitely can't bare the expense. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
