When I got halfway to my destination, my hubs calls me and said my clothes and shoes were on the car pavement in front of the house. You guessed it, I drove right over my tote bag. Amazingly, nothing was damaged other than my shoe box. So off I went to the Container Store to buy a plastic shoe box to replace the one I ran over and blasted to smithereens. Did I learn my lesson...absolutely? Don't take a tote!? No. If you are leaving early in the morning pack your things in the trunk the night before.

I use a custom cabinet company for custom millwork in the main living areas, etc.. but for closets and laundry rooms and even home offices I think they can do a great job! They did my master bedroom and den closets for me. I went with the darker wood because that's what I had throughout, but I recommend using white in closets as it doesn't show the dust as much.

Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. The Timeline: We signed in May 2025 for a project promised to take 4-5 days. It began in late July and was not "finished" until September--nearly a five-month ordeal for a standard master closet. The Process Failures: Project Management: Non-existent. There was zero proactive communication. I had to initiate every update. Labor Inconsistency: They utilized a single-person crew for weeks. When the project stalled, a second, "clueless" crew was sent from another division who lacked the site-specific knowledge to finish the job. Management Arrogance: When issues were escalated to the Sales Consultant, the San Antonio Director, and eventually the local franchise owner, the responses ranged from dismissive to outright rude. At one point, checking on the progress in my own home was treated as a "disturbance" to the crew. The Result: The project was never officially signed off. We finally stopped pursuing them out of sheer exhaustion despite small alignment gaps and unfinished details still remaining. Summary: Do not be deceived by the high-end marketing. This company lacks the internal infrastructure to manage mid-range projects and shows a complete lack of respect for the customer's time or home. If you expect accountability or professional communication, look elsewhere.

Where to even start!…read more We bought a house in Travisso several years ago and came across Brandy. As you can imagine, after buying a new house it's necessary to watch your expenses. Brandy was instrumental in really showcasing the house and also watching our for our pocketbook!! Over the next few years we would upgrade different sections of the house which culminated with a state of the art smart home theater! How much did we enjoy working with Brandy? We moved to AZ, where we employed her again.! Moving is normally so stressful and overwhelming but having Moxie here was the magic cure for that! (The other major component was using Heavenly Moving to do a full service move that included packing- highly recommend!) The Moxie team had EVERYTHING out of boxes with the cardboard broken down and packing paper all bagged up when they were done. They left me with a beautifully organized home, including all the drawers, cabinets, closets, even the "junk" drawer (which is too nice to even be called a junk drawer now lol) and the peg board in the garage! If I had tried to do the unpacking myself it would have taken months, it wouldn't have been completed so nicely, and there are things that would have probably never gotten done at all.
