Great family owned business always listens to the problem at hand and then provides a solution with superfast service

Ace completely took advantage of my neighbor, they charged an 85 year old woman 1800 to install a $500 water heater, they were there about 2-2.5 hours. Ace should be ashamed of themselves!!!!! plus they broke the law they charged her to use a credit card, this is illegal u cannot charge money on money unless you are a financial institution. That is federal law. Do not use or trust Ace extremely unethica. read more

I rarely post a negative review, but in this case it is warranted. I only gave one star because they showed up on time, and the service man was pleasant. It was not until I got the invoice that a positive experience turned into a disgusting experience. Lots of hidden fees that were not disclosed when I booked the service call. For example: A 5% fee for using a credit card! A $30 "travel time" charge! A $10 "truck fee" what the heck is that? These people, who took over the reputable business of D and S plumbing, should be avoided . I will advise the Friendship Club in our Del Webb community at Lake Providence to advise the 1,100 homeowners accordingly. What a horrible and unpleasant experience this was. Should have gone with Arvin's Plumbing. I will in the future. read more

Rob was sent to my condo after I've had several plumbers before who couldnt figure it out, but Rob from Hermitage Ace Plumbing fixed it and I'm so relieved it wont leak methane gas back into my home. This plumber ROCKS! He did such a fantastic job, very intelligent about all the venting and pipe structure I will definitely call ACE again if needing a plumber. I give ACE the highest recommendation. I had another plumber come over this morning and give me a quote for replacing my water heater in my garage. It was over $3200 which seemed excessively expensive to me. A little negotiation and he got it down to $2800 which still seemed awfully high. So I told him I have to call another company for another bid. It's awfully high to me and told him if he would lower it to 2000 I would consider it. He called his boss and got it down to 2200. So I said no thank you I'll call you back if the other companies are not better . I call Ace and over the phone. They give me a firm price of $1500 to install and replace my water heater. The truck got to my house an hour or two later and within one hour he installed a new water heater and we were on the road. Let's see $1500 versus $3200. Are we kidding? I didn't know that having plumbing done was like buying a used car. I told the ACE technician what the other company wanted to charge me and his jaw hit the floor and he couldn't believe it. Five stars for Ace they're my company from now on. read more

They couldn't have been better, more professional, or nicer! In the past 3 years had a two other plumbers (H and RR) do work on our remodel and were disappointed with their lack of professionalism, knowledge, and honesty. Ace had previously installed a new-style hammer arrestor (from Amazon) and were very good, honest, and fairly priced. This time it involved cutting into the basement floor (Ace recommended True Line who were real pros and also fairly priced) and replacing a drain pipe. Donovan also did a thorough job of cleaning the lines all the way to the septic tank and added an access port. All previous issues were totally cleared up! Mike, the owner, even came out for a few minutes (to "bring some pipe" ) and helped allay our concerns. We want everything in tip top shape when we sell this lake house! I got to save $$$ by doing the simple work myself. read more

Outstanding! Pat the representative was friendly and did a great job. I had a problem with my upstairs toilet. It was a relatively quick fix. Since he charges by the hour, he went the extra mile and asked if there was anything else he could help with. He helped me with a minor problem with my shower and a small leak downstairs. He did not have to do that, so I greatly appreciate it. I will definitely call ACE again for my plumbing issues. read more

My dad needed a faucet replaced, and a charming fellow named Shalako showed up at the door. The very first thing he said was, "Did you know you have large wasp's nest forming on your front porch? If you have wasp killer, I'll take care of it for you!". Well, we had had no idea it was there, & his help in that regard was fantastic! He then proceeded to repair the guest room faucet & replace the hardware we had purchased, all of which is now working beautifully. THEN he popped upstairs & replaced the flapper in the upstairs bathroom toilet, which had coincidentally just this morning had its rubber disintegrate to the point of the chain having no place to hook into! The entire experience was a pleasure. He's friendly, helpful, amusing, and pleasant to have around. We will absolutely call Ace in the future & specifically request Shalako, because he's eminently capable AND nice to work with! read more

*WOMEN BEWARE* Ace Plumbing Will Suck Your Money Right Down The Drain! I am pretty typical of most women in that when something needs to be repaired around the house, I have to call a friend or a company to come out and fix it. My handy-ness is limited to changing light bulbs. So, when I discovered a wet spot that wouldn't go away, I called Ace. I had gotten friendly service in the past and I was happy when a plumber came out the next morning. He assured me that he had found and repaired the source of the leak, handing me a bill for $355.50 before he left. All I cared about was that the downstairs carpet wouldn't be soaked anymore and I could stop worrying about busted pipes, mold and a rotting house frame! Yay! Fast forward a few days and the wet spot is B-A-C-K...it never left, I guess! I called Ace right away and spoke to a very sweet woman, telling her that the issue was not yet resolved. She made me feel like Ace understood and would take care of everything. I decided to stop using the downstairs tub to see if that could have been the source. Sure enough, after a few days, the carpet was back to bone dry! So you can see my issue now...here I have a bill for $355 for a repair that had NOTHING to do with what I called Ace for...and I still might have a leak somewhere! Back come the worries about a busted pipe, mold, rot, etc. Plus now the added worry of a $355 bill for a drippy faucet. Ace was supposed to make things better...not worse! I called Ace again to let them know that I would like my bill adjusted or for them to come out and fix the actual leak. I had to speak with the owner, since this was a bill adjustment / warranty issue. Mike said that the bill seemed high for the work they did, but that he needed to research the issue and that in the meantime, he would send someone out to see if they could find the leak. A plumber came out and turned off all the water and said that there wasnt a leak. He said that the wet spot was probably caused by someone stepping out of the shower or water getting through the curtain. That was especially frustrating for me...why didnt he state that last time? Why did he fix a drippy faucet and tell me it was the cause of the leak when he is now saying it is just water from the shower? To make matters worse, I received an invoice in the mail from Ace this week. It showed that I owed them over $400, when my original invoice says $355.50. I put another call in and learned that the plumber had added things up on the invoice wrong, but that they would honor the original $355.50. While I appreciate that they are taking some small responsibility, I will not use them again because I like to be treated with respect, and for them to earn their money. They took advantage of a single women by fixing the first thing they saw wrong and charging me an arm and a leg. Dont go to Ace unless you want to end up on a payment plan like me! I am giving two starts because, despite this fiasco that I am dealing with, I have gotten good customer service from the lady at the front desk and the plumbers have been very nice, clean and respectful. So one extra star for the great attitudes of Ace employees. If you know exactly what needs to be fixed, then I would recommend Ace. If you need someone to help you figure out what the problem is, I would absolutely not recommend Ace. ---- Guess what? My water heater totally busted this morning. And guess who I'm calling...not Ace! I am so thankful for Yelp because at least there is SOMETHING I can do when things go wrong to save others from a similar experience. read more

Geoff did a very thorough and efficient job installing a faucet, clearing the drains, etc.. He was very personable and knowledgeable, making sure we understood what was wrong, and what he was doing to fix it.
