Sean and the team that did my primary bathroom remodel specifically were both artisans and artists. Jake's work estimate came in tens of thousands of dollars lower than competing bids. And what's more, he was able to give me a verbal, on-the-spot estimate that matched the paper estimate I received by email a few days later. Other providers took many days to give me their estimates and offered large ranges that could've busted my budget on the high end. Jake was able to complete a project in 6 weeks that other remodelers told us would take 3 or 4 months. And our house looks beautiful and is everything we wanted, with new floors, stairwells, paint, and three updated bathrooms. Secondly, Ace Remodeling sources materials for their clients at cost and takes no markup. This is unlike the other remodelers who charge up to 30% markup for materials. This also kept our costs down. Finally, Jake and Ace Remodeling take their warranty very seriously. When a plumbing issue caused some water damage after the project was done, Ace was onsite the next day to fix the issue and covered the costs of the emergency leak service, cleaning and restoration of the drywall. We hired Ace first to do modest updates on two upstairs bathrooms. Satisfied with those, we hired them for a much bigger (five digit) bathroom remodel. It is underway now, and it is going well. Since it was a down-to-the-studs remodel, it is taking some weeks. Like most contractors, Ace has a management team and then a group who actually do the work. The work crew, led by Jaime, is excellent. The quality of work is faultless. The management crew is pretty good. We worked with one person to negotiate the contract and were then handed off to others for further communications. I naively expected to keep working with the original guy. I have nothing but good words to say about Ace Remodeling, Matan, and his team. When we did our first walkthrough, I had good feelings about working with Matan and that was proven right. I recently bought my first-ever house but it was obvious that it was purely a rental house. The first floor was wack, the kitchen was old and felt like it was missing something, and I did not want carpet anywhere in the house. I addressed these concerns to Matan and he was able to draw up a very detailed proposal about what his team was going to do. He also booked an appointment to showroom for me and my boyfriend to pick out exactly what flooring and countertop we'd like. The designer that worked with us was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us beautiful recommendations based on our lifestyle and preferences. We learned so much from her and picked out THE flooring and countertop for our new home with her help. Matan went over to the house to do a detailed inspection before demolition and he managed to find out the base cabinets were rotting due to previous water leak damage, which my home inspector and plumbing inspector completely missed. If we were to install the new countertop on that, there would be future problems I'd have to deal with so I asked Matan to replace the bottom cabinets. He was able to quickly adapt to the situation and order the new base cabinets and his team shortly went to work. They installed new flooring throughout the entire house, new kitchen base cabinets, new kitchen sink, a new pantry, new lights in the living room and kitchen, and the new countertop and the end product is AMAZING. His team did such great work and my boyfriend and I were constantly in awe the entire time. Matan made sure to leave no room for errors or minor inconveniences so he made sure to get our feedback on what we didn't like. Honestly, there was barely anything we didn't like because his team did such amazing work. The house finally feels like a home and I'm so excited to live the next stage of my life here with my boyfriend and our 3 dogs. (Our dogs even like the place so much compared to our previous cramped apartment) I'll put out before and after pictures! (The after looks messy because we're still moving in as I am writing this review) The previous floors were dark and it made the place feel gloomy in person but the new floors really brighten up the place. When I finally decided to proceed with remodeling my master bath, I filed a request with Home Advisors and set up interviews with five contractors. After extensive interviews I selected Ace Remodeling. They were not the lowest bidder - nor were they the highest. I liked their rapid response, their professionalism, and I especially liked the Project Manager, Rose, and felt we could work together well. When the project was complete I was glad I had made the right decision and I am extremely pleased witth my new bathroom. My home was built in 1975 and the master bath had a six foot long faux marble sunken bathtub which I enjoyed for many, many years. Soft music, a glass of wine and a good book - totally relaxing, positively therapeutic, absolutely wonderful - until it wasn't! After undergoing extensive back surgery I could no longer indulge in leisurely soaks but was forced to utilize a bath chair and handheld shower which didn't require getting up and down! I delayed the inevitable far too long because I dreaded the hassle and mess of remodeling. Fortunately Rose, and Ace Remodeling, took most of the pain out of the process by good planning and scheduling, highly skilled and dedicated workers, and a lot of consideration and cooperation by Rose herself. Her careful but experienced suggestions during the planning process, and dedicated and frequent visits to keep the work on track were so important to the favorable outcome of the project. But she went way beyond the expected by taking me on visits to multiple vendors for the selection of equipment and materials. Due to surgical complications I no longer drive and her willingness to make that extra time and effort was so considerate and helpful and I appreciated that immensely. My last contractor went MIA for half a day and definitely exaggerated his quote, skill and turnaround time. NIGHT AND DAY difference here. They even guided me on the benefits of licensed, approved work-seems obvious, but again, I had no idea unapproved work on my house could cause an issue on reselling my house.
