I stopped by the shop without an appointment, and they filled all of the tires, but noticed that one of them needed much more air than the others. They took the time to jack the car up and found a nail in the tire. They were able to repair the tire and 15 minutes later I was on the road, and, they repaired it for free! As luck would have it, I ran over another roadside hazard sometime around March that resulted in a slow leak. After filling my tire with air twice, I was lucky to find location on my right front tire with another embedded screw. Drove to Ace Tire early one morning and staff quickly took care of this with another tire patch. Definitely recommend a tire patch vs tire plug. - A tire patch requires rim removal where a large piece of rubber is applied to the inside of a tire to cover a larger hole or area of damage. Patches are more durable and considered a more permanent fix. - A tire plug requires a small strip of rubber inserted into a tire puncture to seal the hole and allow it to be re-inflated and be used to continue until you can have the puncture professionally inspected and repaired. read more

My Tesla Model 3 got a flat tire on Saturday as I was exiting the Great America parking lot. I suspect the traffic spikes punctured a hole in one of my tires even though I was driving in the correct direction. AAA towed my car to Ace even though they were not the original AAA-recommended tire shop. The AAA truck driver recommended that he tow my car to Ace since they are open 7 days/week and typically have Tesla tires in stock whereas the AAA-recommended shop was not even open and typically does not have Tesla tires in stock. I followed his recommendation. By the time my car was towed to Ace, Ace had already closed for the day. My car was left at Ace without leaving my key card, because Ace would be able to drive my car as long as I remotely started my car through the Tesla app. The next day Ace investigated my tire and recommended that I replace all my tires since the rear tire treads were worn thin. So they replaced all my tires. Giving this place thumbs up due to their 7 days/week availability and having Tesla tires in stock. read more

The technician could tell immediately (visually) that all 4 tires needed air, so he added air to all 4 tires and then had another guy come over to get rid of the icon on my dashboard. I always go here for my car alignment. They have great service and are quick. I just installed m3 lower control arms on my vehicle and notified them before they started the alignment. They gladly aligned it to the new specs. They are pretty fast and do custom alignments. They would keep coming back, notifying me of the new spec to make sure I'm okay with it. I have been using another local shop and a location of one of the big tire chains, but never felt I got a decent quality of work. One of them damaged the rims during tire installation, the other never managed to properly balance the wheels so I ended up having to get used to vibrating steering wheel. Always took at least half a day to get the job done, no matter how simple. I wish I started using Ace earlier. They did two services for me recently- wheel balancing and rim replacement. They are not too crowded so they were able to accommodate me on a short notice. Staff are very courteous and they seem to be very skilled. Performed excellent work in both cases and got my car riding steadily without any vibrations. Highly recommend. read more

He had what I needed and said three of them would cost me five dollars. I only had a credit card, so Sam let me take them for free. I went to the bank and picked up cash then went back and paid him. My tire had a giant nail in it and was slowly deflating. I called Ace asking if they have any appointments available at 3P. They booked me in and when I got there at 3P, they knew what to do. I would say the patch up work took maybe 12 minutes including paying for the services (most definitely at a reasonable price too). Fast work! Very good at communicating as well. I asked if I need to replace the tire anytime soon and they said thankfully the nail didn't do much damage and the tire is in great condition. I felt relieved but also glad that they were truthful about it! Some places would have tried to tell me to replace it immediately because I'm a gal that wouldn't know much about cars *eyeroll*.
