I've been through a lot of vacuums. Finally, I was turned on to Ace by a friend. I walked in, explained my house. The brother and sister of this family run business were there and listened intently. They gave me options along with excellent explanations of the options. With COVID, I came alone and wanted my wife to be a part of the decision. They suggested using Facetime - which we did. They were excellent to work with. We went with a blue bagless Miele. It is perfect! They also service almost any vacuum. If you have a vacuum need, come here. Buyer beware, or perhaps I should say beware if you want to have a vacuum repaired. I took a Shark upright in because the brush roll suddenly stopped working. The technician's response, "That's a common problem with these". I though "common problem", it should be easy to repair. Instead I am greeted with "Sharks aren't repairable". He goes on to explain that no Sharks are repairable because you cannot take one apart and put it back together again. He then started into the sales pitch explaining why his $600+ vacuum is more cost effective since it will last for 20 years. By this time I had surmised that the repair shop is just a front/lead generator for high end Riccar and Sebo vacuums. So if you are looking to spend $500-$1000 on a vacuum, Ace might be your place, but if you need a repair on a Shark, this is definitely not your place. The "Sharks are not repairable claim" did seem reasonable to me, so after I left Ace, I did an Internet search on "Shark vacuum repairs". As you might expect there were lots of search results. They appear to be very repairable. read more

They helped me find a perfect vacuum for my needs by listening to my preferences and being patient through some trial and error to find a setup that I would enjoy using. They truly care about their customers and will go above and beyond. Awesome experience! My service at Ace was upfront & honest when I brought in a jammed Shark Vertex. I was told that it could not be repaired due to how Sharks are manufactured. Not a minute of my time was wasted. I was then educated on Riccar vacuums and I was sold. Again, a very quick, seamless but informative process to make my purchase. I feel like I was given a fair price & taken care of when I was making my purchase. I received some trade in value for my Shark which was much appreciated. I feel I have received great advice tailored to my home cleaning needs and respect for my budget. I've had machines repaired here, and, ultimately I bought a brand new Miele vacuum because I just feel good about the brand and Ace's ability to support me for the machine's long life. I have a commercial grade vacuum cleaner that stopped working. The I told them how it had stopped and they said they thought it was probably a short in the cord and it would cost $65 to repair. I went and ran an errand and came back 15 minutes later and it was fixed, with a new belt installed, AND, it only cost $27 to fix it. WOW! Customer service at it's finest. To top off the experience, they carried it out to my car for me! When it is time for an upgrade I know where I will be going! WOW!! I'm so glad I chose Ace Vacuum. i came in with a clogged vacuum that I tried and tried and TRIED to fix myself. Reluctantly, I took my trusty vac over to Ace Vacuum and figured that it would be 3 days and $75.00 to get it fixed. Within 5 minutes, they handed back my vac , all fixed, AT NO CHARGE. I repeat....AT NO CHARGE!!! Very friendly, very nice, easy peasy. just like fine customer service should be. I learned that they carry my type of vac bags, filters, etc. No more running to Sears for that stuff. I would recommend this business to anyone who values time, money, and customer service! read more
