I learned tonight, May 23, when our family members (sans moi) went to dinner, the "Boardroom" is no more. Not to worry, though, it is simply changed owners and name as of last night!. Had a good breakfast here. The breakfast sandwich was great and adding an egg to it made it perfect. They did a great sunny side up egg and had a pretty good menu selection. The mojito was good and refreshing over all had a good breakfast. The place was semi busy for breakfast, but they can only seat like 50 people total and honestly the service just wasn't very attentive, took 15 minutes to order a drink, 5 to get it, 15 or so to get order taken, drinks sat empty till food was delivered and then never checked on again till went up to bar and just paid the bill. Quicker service would clear tables quicker and would have gotten more people in, not sure if short staffed or what as was only two people on the floor. Would try again. read more

Food was great! Soup was a tad on the salty side but the broth was amazing. It's a great menu! Service was a little slow but that's because there was only one cook and one bartender/waitress. We had a large table seated after us who managed to get their order in ahead of us. If you have time, it is worth the wait. Also, the appetizers and cocktails were great. I recently dined at The Boardroom in Fort Walton Beach, and I must say that the food was fantastic. The menu offered a delightful selection of dishes that were truly enjoyable. However, I couldn't help but notice a concerning issue during my visit. The floor has been consistently wet, and there seems to be an ongoing ceiling leak for the past four days. This creates an unsafe environment for both the staff and patrons. While the culinary experience was excellent, the restaurant's maintenance concerns need immediate attention to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience for everyone. I'm disappointed in the managers and ownership for jeopardizing what could be an outstanding dining experience due to the ongoing floor and ceiling issues. It's crucial for them to address these maintenance problems promptly to maintain the restaurant's reputation and, more importantly, the safety of their staff and patrons. Great food alone cannot compensate for an unsafe environment, and I hope they take this matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible. read more

The French dip was also wonderful, although I thought the Au jus tasted a little different than what I'm used to at steakhouses. The Cuban was also very flavorful and yummy. We stopped in on Sunday around noon and sat at the bar. It wasn't too packed but it was still fairly busy. They were serving the brunch menu which had many delicious options! Went here tonight, the guy at works every where in the bar sat us down without menus. We sat for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to approach us with at least water. Nope. I then had my boyfriend go and yell at the same guy that sat us down and asked for a server. He then responded "oh no one gave you menus. No dude you didn't andy when you sat us down. " eventually after 10 minutes we got a server and ordered our drinks and alll of our food. We ordered the Cajun dip. It was really watery it's was okay. Definitely won't order it again. My boyfriend ordered the grill cheese. It was actually really good , I mean you can't go wrong with grilled cheese, just two pieces of bread and cheese. He ordered mash potatoes but I took them because the chicken flourtene was so watery I had to eat it with a spoon. It had really good flavor but I recommend bread on the side or at least steal your boyfriends mashed potatoes from his delicious grilled cheese. We also ordered 2 sours during dinner. I'll let you guess how long that took..... took about 15 minutes until our server Shawn was cleaning the table next to us so roughly 10 minutes to finally get us. When I go to a pub I am always in the mood for a good sandwich, & this place had several great options. I ordered the Georgia grilled cheese, & it was toasted perfectly. The brussel sprouts were amazing as well. I do wish that they offed a beer battered onion ring and/ or homemade French fries especially since we were dining with kids. The pretzel was huge & definitely enough for the kids to share. Also, they had a great beer selection, both on draft & in the bottle. There were 3 different draft IPA's to select from. I can say the the Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas is the best. The service is hit and miss. The seating is first come first serve and they don't keep track. They do prime rib night and that's where it becomes blurry. Sometimes prime rib awesome other time less than good. Same with service. Sometimes awesome. Other times bartender gone or ta with locals and content with not helping. Other problem. Military discount. So I don't care if I get one. Don't care if I don't. Never ask for one. But when the ask (cuz of haircut) and I say yes I thank them and take it. Next time I show ID and she like "we don't do military". I'm like ok. But you did yesterday. They just don't seem consistently on the same page. Food is good 75% of time. Other 25 is not good. Brunch is always good. Dinner food and service is hit and miss. Happy dining y'all. read more
