Understandable. When they made my new appointment, they told me 11am. I arrived on time and at 1115 when I had yet to be seen, they told me that my appointment was for 1130. I'm frustrated by their mistake but continue to wait. They are now running behind and I end up waiting over an hour for my appointment to be fitted for orthotics. Once fitted, they state they will call me with estimate and when orthotics done. By end of February I have heard nothing so I call 2 different times, no response. Today, almost 8 weeks after I was fitted for orthotics, I finally reach someone in the office. Apparently they have been waiting for me to approve cost and have not even sent measurements to the vendor who actually makes the orthotics. They admit on the phone "they dropped the ball". Only go here if you want to waste your time with incompetence.

Don't bother going there. We went to the Ventura office

Normally I wouldn't waste my time with leaving a negative review but I feel obligated to inform…read moreothers and maybe help prevent some other poor soul from experiencing what I went through. My first mistake was not looking at all of Dr Pearson's reviews on Yelp and Google. I saw four stars for his Santa Barbara practice and assumed that was good enough. He's a doctor, he knows what he's doing, right? Wrong. I came to Dr Pearson as most, through a referral from my PC Doc via my HMO. He diagnosed me with a Morton's neuroma and told me surgery was the only option. After a few months, I decided to go through with the procedure. He never ordered an MRI or any imaging. The surgery went fine, but my recovery never happened. After 11 months , he finally ordered an MRI. The MRI clearly showed and described a recurring neuroma. Dr Pearson, ignored that and basically told me the pain was in my head. "Pain is pain" were his exact words. No offer to do a follow up surgery or admit he didn't do the procedure correctly. He was very elusive and dismissive in his responses to questions. After a total of 14 appointments over a 2 year period, and a failed surgery, I gave up on this guy and found another doctor. I'm now 6 weeks post Op with Dr Haggerty at Alta Orthopedic. She found the neuroma, removed it and I'm now back to hiking and walking at about 80% and hopeful to make a full recovery. Sorry, Dr Pearson, pain is not always pain. Sometimes pain is caused by the actual problem you diagnosed but failed to resolve. Dr Pearson may be good enough for simple broken ankles and sprangs, but I'd stay far away If you need surgery or have a complicated issue.

He's very competent and doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures. His office staff is professional, and wait times to make appointments or to be seen once there are reasonable. I highly recommend him.

I've been seeing him off and on for years, but this month I came in on crutches. The podiatrist said I might need surgery. My foot was folding in and I couldn't put any weight on it. Dr Steve adjusted my neck, pelvis and lumbar spine, used a cold laser machine on my ankle and addressed the emotional components associated with the injury using specific and rare body healing modalities and I walked out of his office carrying the crutches, I had to be in coming in! Cancelled my appointments with the podiatrist and was able to have my life back, barely missing a beat. He continues to impress me with his wealth of knowledge and later used a neuro-vascular technique to correct for a misalignment that a regular adjustment did correct. I like that he can adjust manually but also uses non-forced adjustment techniques. Highly recommend if you're looking to release trauma lodged in the body and not just in for a quick basic adjustment. Thx Dr Steve!!

He adjusts precisely to each person because each person is unique and different. We all have different injuries and need different care. I can't thank you enough for all of your healing!
