My wife was in pain and my new knowledge of having 3 stages of foot support orthotics to return my wife's feet to comfort will mean a start of continued happiness for us. The location in Santa Barbara using Google was tricky. The store interior is very stark and visible products small. Considering the stories, I have heard from others getting orthotics from a physician, the scheduling appointments, and the costs associated, this was a convenient visit. We initially did not make an appointment, but our wait was like the same amount of time waiting for a scheduled appointment for a doctor, a few weeks in advance. This is not an immediate solution. Everyone will have unique differences and perhaps this will not work for them. An off the shelf solution, this expensive, is something I take a long moment to consider. However, expensive is relative to how much time you wish to stay in pain and have no working solution and plan to relieve that discomfort. Our experience was fantastic after getting the orthotics from the Good Feet Store! A simple set of foot inserts with a progressive plan to correct the muscle and bone alignments, specific for your feet, and maintain it, is what you get. However, I was disappointed to later learn how the financial side of the practice operates. My first visit ended up costing around $400, largely due to an x-ray. When I tried to schedule a follow-up a month later -- after a minor head injury that had already been cleared in the ER -- I was told I'd need to pay another $80 "reevaluation" fee, the regular $65 visit fee, and another x-ray. While I can acknowledge her skill and caring bedside manner, this approach feels more financially driven than patient-centered. If cost isn't a concern and you wish to support a practitioner who provides competent chiropractic care, this could be the chiropractor for you. But for those mindful of healthcare expenses, it's important to know what to expect up front.

I had come in for relief from pain in my C6/C7 due to a herniated disc and also lower back pain. Dr. Sami was very detailed in her approach to my potential remedy. She asked me numerous questions about my pain history, what caused it, etc. There was incredible attention to detail. We developed a plan and I am happy to say that I am now pain free. Dr. Sami applies a multitude of different techniques. She used manual adjustments, an Impluse adjusting tool, and also a Hypervolt percussive gun.
