The week was quiet and nice until the seasonal/regulars came in Thursday night. Next thing you know, the gossip train starts and all the residents watch your every move and call the front office on you if you breath in a way that offends them. I'd understand if I was rowdy and partying, but my sister and I literally were crocheting! Making sweaters we would have an uncle and cousin visit during the day (after they paid their fee to get in) and they made my guests so uncomfortable with the passive aggressive comments The staff are condescending, an old potato of a woman with blonde hair who takes your money coming in gave my PAYING GUEST a hard time coming in and then had the audacity to charge her twice the daily rate! Normal fee is $8, she charged my friend $15. I heard about 14 passive aggressive comments about my happy doofy husky/pitt bull mix (WHO WE PAID TO HAVE HERE) getting judged and glared at just for existing. I would love to say this a cute community who look out for one another, but this group of people are like those vile religious folk who claim to be loving and kind while they shun and shame anyone who may be different or new. I do not recommend this campground AT ALL. Find a nicer place. The annoyance of residents tattling over the dumbest things truly ruins any relaxation you try to have.

Cons: -be prepared to walk, very hilly -Wi-fi only available at office/rec area. -playground has 4 swings and a volleyball net. -very limited area to fish. -seasonal campers very willing to ensure weekend camper is following "their" rules, not so much following the rules themselves (as evident by the unleased dogs that keep comming to my site).

There is a septic service that comes every 2 weeks. We genuinely loved our stay with our beloved dog. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. There is a beautiful beach with gorgeous views of the lake. Our host also owns the AirBnb on the same lot which looks amazing!

I'm just extremely confused on why we still have these stigmas in 2025 and think it needs to be changed. Dogs attitudes are a product of the owners training. Just because a specific dog breed needs more stimulation, enrichment and training to behave correctly does not mean all dogs that belong to that breed are aggressive. Unless you have a golden retriever, i'd steer clear of this place.

On top of that, the staff treatment was humiliating and disrespectful. To make things worse, they wouldn't even let us stay, despite charging $85 per night just for a tent site. Paying that kind of price for basic tent accommodation and still being turned away, with poor treatment on top, is unacceptable. On top of that, after checkout they don't even let you stay by the pool. I really, truly do not recommend this place. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I came by during their Halloween weekend and it was spectacular. We played bingo Friday night and had Halloween party on Saturday. Staff were all absolutely wonderful and always cheerful and ready to help. Their bathrooms were surprisingly clean and warm at all times. Their burger place was nice. Easy to order. Burger was juicy, tasty and reasonably priced. However their super star was the extra crunchy fries. Sorry I didn't get a picture I got distracted while tasting and couldn't put the food down to take a picture :) their meals come with a gigantic drink which surprised me $12.99 is nothing for this value.

I understand many places do not, those places that feed into all the negative bullshit about the breed and don't educate themselves. Aside from that, this woman's demeanor on the phone was very unwelcoming. Glad they don't accept my dog now as I wouldn't want that kind of un-hospitality somewhere I am paying money. Ended up finding a much better place where they accept my dogs without breed limitations and a lovely sounding host.

They are both passed and the world is at a loss. On my mother's last birthday we had a party in the rechall, and Mike gave his word to my dying mother. It will be 4 years in November and he still has not followed through. he will continue to make money on my parents park model trailer (a gift) that he rents out but will not honor his word.... Dinning hall with functional industrial kitchen, BarBQ pits, campfire pits, game hall, baseball field, basket ball court, horse shoe game, and water to fish (great catches!). The A-OK is because the park is being upgraded, and the current condition does not make me a fan... yet! However the service we received from Camp Cedarcrest was phenomenal, you guys are awesome!

Before she…read morecould even get there an extremely upset woman came out screaming at us not to block the gate, our guests were behind us so we backed far enough to clear the gate and signaled the remaining two cars to go around us, one did. The other car finally got the hint and went around but made it clear they were not happy. Needless to say our arrival was anything but pleasant. We had to dump and drove to the station, the trees were so close together at the 90* degree turn we scraped the side of our Rv. When leaving we dumped again but had to drive into brush to avoid our previous peril. The park was obviously designed for pull behind cracker boxes. Our visit was pleasant with a large space, large fire pit and view of the pond across the road. The entire park is 30 amp and we had to use a pigtail for power. Our guests had to pay $12 each just to enter the park, a rip off in my opinion. Our two day stay was to be $180, but the add on fees brought the total to around 250.00. We have been full timers for over 7 years and have never been charged such add ons in any other park. Final thoughts, after everything I can say we probably will never return to this park. It was pleasant but adding the damage to my rig, our arrival pleasantry and being nickel and dimed to death I should rate this park and visit a "one". When my wife went to check out Monique was very apologetic but she was limited to that.
