The campground is maintained very well. The sites are clean, level, and grassy. The dog park was a great plus. We will definitely be coming back. The campground itself is secluded and quiet. There are spots for RV and tent camping. Bathrooms are extremely clean and well kept. The lady that runs it is super nice, but don't speed on her grounds or she will destroy you. The lake is home to all kinds of wildlife and teeming with fish. Whether you have a ski boat or a canoe it is accommodating! Overall a great place to get away and enjoy nature!! Just don't tell anyone I told you about the secret spot.

I'm just extremely confused on why we still have these stigmas in 2025 and think it needs to be changed. Dogs attitudes are a product of the owners training. Just because a specific dog breed needs more stimulation, enrichment and training to behave correctly does not mean all dogs that belong to that breed are aggressive. Unless you have a golden retriever, i'd steer clear of this place.

The little store they had also was well stocked with campaign essentials... forgot ketchup? don't worry... they have it and if i recall it was like $2 for the bottle... I was just here this past weekend for a music festival, and this was the perfect venue for it…read more The grounds are gorgeous, with plenty of space for camping. Lots of waterfront camping space, but if you actually want to be able to sleep in on those hot summer mornings there's also lots of space in the wooded areas to camp. Everything was really clean upon arrival (as clean as it can be for being a camping area) and was kept as such throughout the weekend. Not an easy task when you have 500+ people traipsing around. There's two sets of restrooms (with running water) and the ones at the front also have 2 showers in each bathroom (mens and womens). The showers were much great, hot and good water pressure. There's also a concession area right as you arrive at the campground which carries smaller items (sunglasses, waters, etc) and are super reasonably priced. The only downfall is that you can't swim in the lake (at least not when I was there), but it's a bit murky so I'm not sure if one would want to. They do rent out paddleboats and canoes though for $50 a day with a $50 refundable deposit. There's also some pretty good fishing in the lake. One of my favorite things about this place was the fact that the owner, John, was always on hand. Interacting with patrons, making sure things were running smoothly. He really did a great job of making us feel welcomed. I'll definitely be returning next year :D

There is a septic service that comes every 2 weeks. We genuinely loved our stay with our beloved dog. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. There is a beautiful beach with gorgeous views of the lake. Our host also owns the AirBnb on the same lot which looks amazing!

Very helpful staff, waited till we got there (after we called) and checked us in, before closing for the day. If I had to say something negative it would be that you have to use quarters to get water for a shower. But the water was hot, showers very clean, and plenty of time to shower with only 1 quarter. I would go back here again, and recommend it to anyone.
