My grandkids were visiting me and I wanted to find a fun place to visit- so glad we did! I purchased day passes in advance ($22) that included parking & a full day at their pools. The staff person at the gate was welcoming and informative. Happy we came midweek as I can only imagine how crowded it could get. I appreciated the shower first rule and pleased the shower water wasn't cold. We easily found a row of lounge chairs with umbrellas where we dropped our towels. The pools were divine with a perfect warm temperature. The lifeguard, Moshe, was quite friendly and checked in with my grandkids on their water safety knowledge- thank you. When we were ready to eat we crossed the road to the expansive lawn area that included plenty of picnic tables After swimming and playing in the pool some more we packed up and checked out the creek area. It is quite pretty and well shaded. The water was much cooler and I do not think it was ADA accessible. Overall we had a successfully fantastic day here!

And we were able to meet new people and make friends. The fresh cookies baked were a plus, we loved the espresso machine and water taps all over the property. Between 5-6pm There is a wine hour! With a free tasting and snacks. You really do not need to go anywhere, there are restaurants in 2-10 minutes with an uber drive. I absolutely love this place so much. I want to come back soon.

The room was so lovely. Bed was huge and comfortable. I loved the automatic fireplace! The shower had a rainfall and handheld. The grounds are so gorgeous, it's like you're in Italy or something like it as I've never been to Italy! The large pool is heated and the warming pool is just so relaxing. Breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. Yogurt, granola, pastries, bagels and smoked salmon were always offered with one hot rotational item, quiche and a casserole dish were the items available on our two night stay along with mimosas!! They also have a 24 hour coffee and water station and complimentary cookies. They offer wine and nuts at 5pm to 6pm. There was no charcuterie when we visited in July. There is no restaurant on site. Exceeded my expectations.

It truly feels like you've walked into a little land of peace - calm, beautiful, and so thoughtfully designed. I'm so grateful we had the chance to stay here. We also had dinner at Glen Ellen Star, which is only about a three-minute walk away, and wow - what an incredible restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! We stayed in the Ryokan Zen Creekside Suite and were both smitten the moment we walked in. The room was spacious, and beautifully decorated. They even provided robes and sandals to wear around the room, which was a lovely touch. The soaking tub was exactly as I had imagined, huge, luxurious, and perfect for two. We also loved all the extra amenities, from happy hour with wine and cheese to fresh-baked cookies and a port bar in the evening. The breakfast spread the next morning was equally wonderful. This stay felt like such a special way to celebrate a milestone birthday. I highly recommend spending a night here for any special occasion. It was incredibly romantic and truly memorable.

We are getting into camping this year and this was our trial run with all the new gears we bought. We rented camper site #1 which is labeled as "premium". Maybe it was a bit bigger than the regular sites but other than that it didn't feel particularly premium. Since #1 and 48 are the first and last sites in the campground loop and closest to the visitor center, they had the best WiFi reception. The downside is we were the farthest to the bathrooms and showers which were located on the opposite site of the loop. This made trekking over at night a bit inconvenient. The bathrooms were somewhat clean and the showers are coin-operated at the cost of 25c per minute. Shampoo and body wash were provided which is nice. All in all this was a nice introductory experience for us. If we were to come back to camp at this park we will opt for site #3 which is nicely tucked into the shaded corner and is fairly close to the bathrooms.
