This was an extraordinary and unique dining experience for us. We had an amazing time here, the food and service were excellent. These meals are prepared with care and attention paid to detail. The environment was lovely as well. The servers really knew the menu and offered some daily specials. First we started off with the Meze Plate which included some of the appetizers. The hummus had a good balance and was enjoyed with soft pita bread. The dolmathes which are stuffed grape leaves, were very rich and tangy. Both the spanakopita/ meatpita wedges were outstanding, the phyllo dough perfectly applied and baked to flakey perfection. The moussaka was the best I've ever had, flawless layers of savory goodness. I had the gyro plate which required assembly but contained some high quality ingredients. If you are a vegetable lover, this is hands down the best restaurant for preparation. Our vegetable sides included roasted cauliflower which was perfectly cooked. This was the best eggplant side I've ever had in terms of flavors and preparation. I came on Saturday, late afternoon, and there were a few tables occupied. I ordered the Saganaki appetizer. It was not at all what I expected or what I am used to when I've enjoyed Saganaki in the past. I'm accustomed to haloumi cheese, different texture, and a richer, garlic-lemon flavor. That said, it was still enjoyable. Try it with an open mind. Since this was a late lunch for me, I just went simple and ordered the traditional gyro wrap - very good. Love their tzatziki sauce, so I might have liked a bit more of it. Lemon soup was divine - mild flavor with carrots and orzo pasta. Watermelon tea is quite refreshing! I had an overall good experience, my waitress was very sweet and just attentive enough, without being overbearing, but never leaving me wanting for anything. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and got a table right away. Our waitress was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and Greek food in general. She also didn't make me feel bad about eating the hummus with a finger after the pita was gone it was that good! We got the Greek sampler and it was all delicious! Not really happy with my food today. My food took a very long time after I ordered my food and I was the second table getting served, so why my food took so long and it came out cold!!! I ordered the Gyro wrap. The meat was very dry and cold. The cook didn't even bother to put it in the microwave and heat it up. It must left over lamb from the night before... The Greek salad tasted okay. I was just really hungry so I didn't bother to complaint at all. But couldn't eat half of my gyro wrap coz it was very dry, hard to chew. Very disappointing because the last few times my husband and I came here 11 months ago. The food was hot and really good. Maybe the manager or owner has changed. If you are having Greek, Mediterranean in the Fort hood area this is the only place to go. The food is amazing, authentic, at a reasonable price. If you want to eat in, the restaurant in impeccably clean and stylishly decorated for a more upscale experience in this area. I prefer the Mediterranean combo platter. I've been here twice this week while in town for business. The food is amazing, the tables are cozy and the service has been just right. We don't have a go-to Greek place where I live, so both times I've had the gyro, once as a platter with lentil soup and roasted eggplant and then for lunch just the gyro with the outstanding soup. Had a huge piece of baklava for dessert, it was too tempting to resist and was delicious. Also tried two Greek wines, they were surprisingly good. Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life. This restaurant was one of my wife's favorite up until today. My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday here with our immediate family so I called and made a reservation 8 on the phone. Left my name and arrival time and they said ok we have you and hung up. Got another RSVP an hour later so I called back updated the reservation to 10 and again they said ok. My mistake was to not ask whom I was speaking to. Arrive at the restaurant only to be met with them saying they do not have a reservation for us at all, then moments later they state the reservation was made for 7 people. They put us together 2 tables which was not enough space for our party of 8. They told us the table next to ours was reserved, so we could not pull that one next to ours and stated that they do not accept reservations for large groups, but why was this not mentioned either time I called??? Asked to speak to the manager and was surprised to find out that the woman I was speaking to was the manager which was unbelievable due to her lack of attentiveness. We sat several feet away for part of our party and when a table opened up next to us I went to ask the manager if it would be possible to move them closer and the owner, who made it a point to stop and check on patrons at every table except for either of our parties tables, rushed to me and rudely said that table he's saving for a party of 5 and the told me he was trying to be nice and turned to walk away abruptly. I could not believe this because aside from the busboy, nobody was nice at all. We left and will never be returning again and will be sharing our experience. So sad because the food is excellent and all the places we could have chose, my wife wanted to come here. Never again. read more

Really enjoyed the food here today. We love Greek food and this was pretty good. Hummus: It was decent, with olive oil added. I like hummus to be very smooth, almost like peanut butter. Theirs is not smooth, but you can taste the garlic and it's pretty good. Gyro Platter: I had that with sides of a small Greek salad and potatoes. The pita bread was excellent, and I couldn't use all the meat at once. Plenty of sauce. The potatoes were excellent, wonderful flavor. Greek salad was decent. Chicken wrap: same quality of pita bread, there was plenty of chicken. Had the rice as a side, it was like a pilaf, it was okay, but the flavor of the chicken was excellent. I am from Wisconsin and since being in Texas I don't find many Greek or Mediterranean restaurants I'm crazy about. This place was pretty good and had a nice cozy atmosphere. We had gyros, Greek salad, potatoes, and lemon soup. It was all pretty good but the soup had a weird texture. Other than that I'd recommend to the restaurant to include pepperoncini with the Greek salad. I'd give it another go for sure. read more

If you're tired of eating at every chain restaurant ever because you live in the Killeen/Harker Heights area, then you need to come here! The food is delicious and the portions are pretty good! I will say the live music on the weekend nights can be a little too loud (hard to have conversations with your party) but it's not unbearable either. The side dishes have been just slightly warm rather than hot, but I've never had that problem with the main dishes. Try the appetizers and moussaka. But I've heard great things about the rack of lamb and the chicken leg quarter. This place has very friendly service and a family vibe. We just tried this restaurant for the first time today. Outstanding! Service was fast and very friendly. The food was fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and feels like home. I had the Mediterranean gyro, my husband had the kofta, my daughter had the falafel and we also had the roasted red pepper hummus and dolmathes. Not one thing wrong with any of it other than I got full incredibly fast. So much food! Great Lamb & Beef Gyro!! Food taste extremely fresh. Meat is cut slightly thicker that most gyros I've had in Europe but not over the top. Atmosphere is very clean and classy. Service is great and attention to customers seems to be exceptional. I would definitely eat here again. I will probably have to try everything. I hope they last due to the plaza they are located is not frequently visited. Only CONs is that the sweet tea is not Texas Sweet and food could be plated a bit better.
