We contacted Action Air last fall to check out our furnace. It was not heating out home as it should and we knew it had been years since it had been serviced. Action Air sent a knowledgeable tech to check out our system. They were very patient and since we didn't know anything about the furnace, they took the time to explain what they were seeing and even had cameras to show us the deterioration inside the furnace, which could have been contributing to a gas leak. Since the furnace was very old and clearly needed replaced, we asked for a quote on a new system. Much to our surprise, Action Air didn't try to sell us on the biggest, most expensive system. Instead, they said that the smaller unit would be all that we needed and that because it was so much more efficient, it would be saving us money on our gas bill each month. We had the system installed and the furnace has been doing a great job. We've had our service contract with Action Air for a couple years, so I did kind of regret that it gives them the inside line on looking at your stuff and trying to scare you into replacing your system while it is still working. That being said, we did know that our air conditioner was on its last legs as we had some issues with it last year, so we finally decided to bite the bullet and replaced both the heating and air in this slower time of year for them while we still could get some discounts . Their text showed up and got everything switched over and knocked it all out in one day and cleaned up very nicely after themselves. We got an upgraded heater and air conditioner to replace our nearly 20 year old system along with a 10 year parts and service warranty that's included so we should be good for a little while now . Hopefully until long after we sell this place, which is kind of large for our needs. We will refer family and friends to them read more

Our furnace started acting up and Action Air, as always, was prompt about sending someone to fix our furnace. This was of particular concern because my husband is recovering from open heart surgery, and of course, needs to stay warm. They found our 19-year-old furnace was on its last leg. They gave us several options and did not pressure us to install a new unit, but it was our decision to purchase a new furnace, which was installed the very next day. Skip and Dylan were the installers/technicians. They were prompt, friendly, and highly skilled, completing a very big job by 2:00 P.M. We have been Service Club members for several years, and it is certainly worth the monthly fee for excellent service, discounts, and bi-annual cleaning and service. Steve was out yesterday to do the annual maintenance on my air conditioner. I knew it was not performing well, but was hoping not to have to replace it. Steve was great. He gave me three options and described the pros and cons of each. In the end, I opted for a new system. Today, Kelton and Tyler were here to install the new furnace and air conditioner. They were polite and friendly. They looked at the job and let me know how long they thought it might take. They finished right on time and then walked me through all the aspects of the system. Unfortunately, Kelton had to give me some bad news about my humidifier (it was leaking because of rust). He too gave me options, and I decided to have a new one installed in the Fall. I had Mark S, Kelton, and Dylan come and help me out today. Action Air is always so helpful and amazing to work with. I thought I needed a new water heater. Everyone I talked to said I did even though mine wasn't even 3 years old yet and I called and talked to Mark and he said he would come out with Kelton and Dylan to check and see what he though. They figured out the problem within 20-30 minutes and saved me $1300. If that isn't the best service ever I don't know what is! They are the best and everyone from there is amazing! I have never had an issue and I'm sure I never will. They also have put in my furnace and air conditioner and I will never go with anyone else. I always recommend Action Air to everyone! We had a technician (TJ) come to our house to complete an Air Conditioner Tune Up for their seasonal discount rate of 33.00. The gentleman completed the servicing and told my wife that our compressor amp draw on start up was 70 amps and should be around 25 amps and recommended a hard start compressor savor which would cost 450.00 to install. We felt that this was strange since we have had our AC serviced every year by the company that installed the unit. So we called them to get a second opinion, and they also checked the amps on the compressor and it was in the normal range. Of note the compressor savor is a 40.00 part online and it takes only a couple of minutes to install. Never again will we be calling Action Plumbing. read more

Action Air rode to the rescue when our furnace failed on an unusually cold April morning. A technician came out and analyzed the failure and the diagnosis was that the furnace had failed and needed to be replaced. The technician called Mark who came right over and helped me find the best possible solution for my new furnace need and scheduled the installation of a new furnace for the following morning. This morning Nick and Justin came out, dismantled and disposed of the old unit and installed the new. The installation was done very well and they left a clean worksite. I have used Action Air for the past 4 years to keep the old unit going as long as possible and I will certainly continue to use them in the future. read more

Action Air has impressed me! I needed a same day visit, and they were able to fit me in at a convenient time for my busy schedule. Karen in the office was polite and helpful in getting my appointment scheduled. Mark W. and Jay (trainee) were professional, efficient, and diagnosed the problem quickly. They explained and pointed things out to me on the eqiupment, which I appreciate since I live alone and am not mechanically inclined. Mark W. came back today to perform routine maintenance on my system, and I will be having them back to do duct cleaning, since I just finished a lot of remodeling with drywall work. We recently had our furnace replaced with Action Air (per great recommendation from my sister/brother-in-law, who also had their furnace replaced) and just had our ducts cleaned today. Both visits resulted in fantastic customer service, quality work, and awesome clean-up. A technician, Tyler, was at both visits and was so nice to work with and very sweet to both of my children. He cleaned up so well after the duct cleaning, which I appreciated very much! I've been pleased with the company as a whole, from the customer service on the phone scheduling appointments, to the people who have been in my home. I bought my new furnace and AC from Action Air 6 years ago and since then, I have used them for checkups in the spring and fall. I've signed up for their pre-paid preferred customer service, which includes the spring and fall service. Technicians always arrive within the specified time window and put on shoe covers when inside the house. They do try to upsell other add-ons, but are not overly pushy about it. For example, the technician suggested to add a lubricating solution to my AC, but found that my unit already had it, so didn't charge me for it. I appreciated his honesty when this add-on wasn't needed. read more

I have been using Action Air since last fall and I am so impressed with their service! The technicians are always timely, polite, and very helpful. If you are a "Service Club" member, they will come out periodically to do complimentary tune-up's. CJ came to my house yesterday to do a tune up on the air conditioner and he was right on time, quick and knowledgeable, and didn't try to up-sell me on anything that I don't need. I called 9-6-2014 on Saturday and Derrick took my call and told me a tech will call me back and C.J. called very soon after and said he'd head right over! I couldn't believe I was getting service immediately! There was a clogged pipe in the air handler causing a buildup of water leaking around the baseboards in two adjoining rooms. C.J. drained the excess water into a bucket and actually blew into the pipe to remove the debris-several chunks of stuff?? Looked like insulation. I called Action Air for a second opinion after I was told from another company that I needed to replace my whole HVAC system because it would no longer work. C.J. was the technician for our first visit since becoming a Service Club Member. He was prompt, courteous, and respected our flooring by wearing the shoe covers when in our home. While checking our system, he detected a problem with a part, and explained to us how this part affected the motor. Our electric bills were quite high this past winter, so we quickly had him replace the part. He was very courteous, helpful and thorough, corrected issues apparently created by inadequate maintenance performed by the previous technician, explained what the problem was and what he did to fix it. Everyone from the receptionist, tech, sales to installers were very professional and helpful. They weren't too pushy either. They gave the correct information to make the best decision. Our heater went out a Thursday morning. A tech was diagnosing it by mid-day, and we had a new unit installed by the next day. It was just 24-hours to have heat again. Great job all around! read more

We had our AC go out at O Dark thirty this summer. Action Air was the only company in the area that could come out that night. Gave us 5 star treatment. So when our furnace went out (it was old), they were the first company we called. They weren't the lowest quote and not the highest quote, but along with their customer service, I wouldn't pick another company. read more
