He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

I had obtained the conversion parts from MD, the OEM. Over the years the cuff broke and I searched for a replacement. MD sent me a replacement, which again didn't fit. I visited the shop from where the hose was originally purchased and they told me they couldn't fix it because it was too old (15 years perhaps), and I would have to buy a new hose for around $200. I searched online in vain. I called around locally and was referred by another central vac shop to Easy Housekeeping Shops, saying Mark could probably fix it. I contacted Mark by phone and after explaining the situation and texting a few photos, Mark said he'd have a part in a few days. Today we met for the first time and within minutes Mark had the repair made - for $20! Clearly Mark had immediately recognized what was required to perform the repair and ordered the part without hesitation. Apparently the hose ends do come in different sizes but I found no one else that either knew the difference or cared enough to locate the correct part. When I shared my experience, Mark simply and honestly replied that he knew how to fix vacuums, as that is what he did. Save your time and energy, and contact Mark first.

"Who would EVER go there?!?" I used to think. Well, I'll tell you who. I go there. And here's why. My vacuum's belt broke. I didn't even know you could replace those. I was gonna buy a new vacuum because isn't that what you do when stuff breaks!? We live in an era of disposable technology; if it's broke, chuck it and buy the new model. After trying all the local hardware stores, I was lucky enough to be directed towards this place. It seriously looks like nothing. An old white New England home with signs for vacuum repair and numerous vacuums out on the front porch. I've driven by here a million times and never even knew it existed. I was desperate to fix my vacuum and ran inside hoping to find the correct belt. I knew the part #, and had the old belt with me. You walk inside this place and the first thing you notice is the SMELL. It smells like CLEAN. Really cool. Smells like you buried your face in a new carpet. The place was open a few minutes before the opening time posted - and people were actually coming OUT of the place with vacuum parts they had just bought. Busy place! Who knew such a store did business anymore!? The friendly guy behind the counter was able to pick out my correct belt within seconds. $3 later I'm out the door. Vacuum now works like it's old crappy self. This place was a lifesaver. I almost wish I didn't find it because I really wanted a new vacuum. Something futuristic with an ipod dock or something. That would be cool. Also learned - those "Dyson" vacuums are total crap. That's all he repairs here. If you have an older canister Electrolux vacuum - hang onto that sucker for all you're worth because those things last forever - no joke. Dyson = disposable technology. They don't make'em like they used to, folks. Well, at least Dyson is keeping this guy in business. Now if you'll excuse me, I have guests coming over and need to finish vacuuming....

I was skeptical about this assessment and took the vacuum to another repair shop. The owner was able to fix it in a few minutes right before my eyes. He repaired it for free. I was told it could use a tune up and cleaning, which only cost $60, but that the vacuum should be expected to work great for decades to come. I feel Easy Housekeeping Shops lied simply to try to get me to purchase a new vacuum from them. If not, then the only other explanation is that they don't really know their stuff and aren't knowledgeable on all brands of vacuums. I'm so glad I got a second opinion.

They always have the vacuum cleaner bags in stock. I have had very little problems with my vacuums (normal cleaning and hepa filter changes); occasionally a cat toy stuck inside. Whenever I bring my vacuum in, I get immediate attention. I never have to wait more than 1-2 days for the work to be done. Repairs are always reasonable. I have recommended them to everyone who has asked where a good vacuum cleaner or sewing machine shop might be. I would continue to recommend them. I would be lost without them!

One salesman told us to sit while he printed out what was available. We were really surprised at how much more expensive their items were than other vendors such as Lowe's, Home Depot, and Barons. Three service calls and temperature is innacurate, even after being calibrated. The worst part is the oven continues to smoke heavily and stinks up the house and makes food inedible. This is not a mouse issue. This is a bad range. A promised call back never came. I cannot express how badly this experience has gone. I would tell others to shop elsewhere and definitely not buy a KitchenAid range! Shame on you!
