If zero stars was an option, I'd give it. This place is run by soulless and (frankly) evil people. The old lady was a miserable bitch and only cared about payments. I waited for FIVE HOURS to get my car back because she kept answering calls and putting me off. My alternator was completely busted and I asked for a jump and it took them three hours to facilitate it. I was left alone in the 90F heat with no car and money as I had just spent every cent I had to regain my car. Young teenagers run this place and don't give one single shit about you or your livelihood. I had to save for over a month just to get the car back and was essentially told it wasn't their problem that I had been waiting five hours stranded with a dead phone while they pushed buttons to pay themselves out. They have no accountability. They towed my legally parked vehicle with a valid parking permit and refused to bring it back. They said it would be easier if I came and got it as getting it back would be difficult. Yeah, I assume since you towed my car I should just take my Chevrolegs? I had to pay for a ride plus lose three hours of work over their incompetency. Then they informed me I didn't have to pay for it. Oh! I don't have to pay for your theft of my car and illegal tow?! You don't say! What a GENEROUS gesture! Like, seriously? Making it seem like you're now doing ME a favor by not charging? I wouldn't pay a dime to them. There was a house fire at 53 Bellingham Avenue the fire department busted four windows. Action Emergency services located at 1087 Broadway. Revere, MA 02151 broke a lease 11 windows in that home, which was unnecessary not only did they bust windows for their own profit. They put the glass everywhere large shards of glass they put the whole they took out the window frames put them on my bed, my bureau, my couch. It was a dangerous place to go into when you wanna go and get your personal items. I called to complain after the fire. The woman hung up on me today. I called Mark who is a supervisor there he also hung up on me. My brother's ashes and my Jeep key are missing. I don't know why they would want to take these items. I'm just speculating but the my brother's ashes were sealed so maybe they thought there was something of value in there and busted it open and boom that goes my brother's ashes. Personal values What kind of people is this company working with? It's sad and disgusted as far as this company goes, I would never ever recommend it. The reviews are true; these people are scumbags. I've seen it with my eyes, I am not expecting a gentlemen from a tow-man but nobody has to be this big of a scumbag unless try hard. I saw an old gentlemen's car get towed in the parking lot of One North of Boston. The gentlemen got to his car before the tow-man finished hooking it up to his tow truck. The tow-man insisted on towing and the gentlemen refused, up to this point this is all normal and just the way things are with tow people. The real disturbing part began when the 60ish year old gentlemen's wife and parents arrived to the car, the gentlemen's father was easily 80 and was standing up with the aid of a standing aid device for the elderly. The tow-man, of course, has zero compassion or courtesy or resect for the situation or the people involved. The tow-man even showed the nerve to walk up to the face of the gentleman and just threaten him nasty and curse at the guy next to his parents and family, I find this really really disturbing. These people were trying to get to their home at like 10pm and they had to deal with this loser. A little humanity would have gone a long way here but nope, some people just don't have any. Thankfully the cops came and the family did not have deal with the scumbag ,low-life, pos, sob tow-man. This place did some board up for my windows at my house after a fire. They did a the Worst job I think my 5 yr old son would have done it better. I am to blame though for choosing this company but an employee of there's came hounding me like a vulture as my house was burning, talking about that my house needed to be boarded up immediately. If you want to even call them Professionals. I had them do a board up of my home after a fire, which is also what they try and do besides being a crooked tow company. They first of all did a horrible job the windows were covered with 2 pieces of plywood on a regular window rather than just using 1 piece , because they were using scraps probably from other jobs. On top of that my H/O Insurance sent them a check for services, then they sent me a bill saying I had to pay an additional $3000 . Now when I originally signed with there toothless representative the night of fire , he wouldn't leave me alone stating that I needed to get this done but there would be no charge to me my home owners insurance would pay for the emergency services. These guys are the worst. I totally agree with the previous review on yelp. Towed my car from the visitor spot of the building, when I have parking permit for the same building. The reason written on my tow receipt was of 'trespassing'. When I went to get back my car, I had to wait for 1 hour for these guys to show up. Every time I would call while waiting, i was told that they would be at the office in 5 mins. On top of everything the fine was 190 dollars.! I had to pay that much money to park in a visitor spot of my own apartments. The worst experience of my life doesn't end here. These guys also towed a car of a girl from same apt. While one guy was adamant that how he has righteously towed my car, the other driver was busy giving discount to the girl on her towing fees. I met this girl next day and found out that she paid 140 dollars for her towing fees. I don't know how to express my feelings after finding it out. Also this is a cash only towing company. No wonder its easy for them to take fine off for girls. I am a believer of 'Karma'. Maybe what these guys are doing right now in their life is giving them happiness but is also contributing to their good/bad karma. And sooner or later will face the consequences. Action Emergency Services really came to our rescue when our house was damaged due to a car accident. It happened the day before Thanksgiving and the team at AES worked late into the evening and did a magnificent job shoring up our garage and supports! My brother in law is an architect and said the completed project was perfect. After the job was done, the team cleaned up. My first contact at Action was John Mousis and we were assured that he would take care of everything and we needn't worry. David was the team leader that worked on the job. We were very impressed with him and all involved! Our insurance is waiting for a quote from AES to fix the support and garage doors and we told the insurance company that we are very comfortable with Action Emergency Services and want them to do the work. So here is the deal- dirt-bag company with dirt-bag employees. My apartment burned down. I had to work the day after so my roommates went in to assess the damage and start clearing out what was left of our lives. At 1:30pm on the Sunday after the fire my roommate sent me a photo of my bedroom to show me that I hadn't lost everything (just most of it) The photo clearly shows my custom built MacBook Pro sitting just where I left it. My roommate was in the house till 6:30p that evening. When he left, Action was a floor above boarding up the windows of the building. They were the only people in the building. I came in at 10a Monday morning to a boarded up building. The front was under lock and chain. I was assured by my landlord that no one but the Action crew had been there. I walk into my room and my laptop is no longer where the photo clearly shows it was. I asked both roommates if they had moved it for safe keeping. Both Said no. I asked my landlord if anyone other than Action had been in the building. He assured me no. I contacted the Cambridge police with serial numbers and such and yesterday went out to Action to speak with them about getting the names of the Action crew members that were on site boarding up the house so the police to look into the theft. They told me hands down they would not tell me who from their company was onsite. They also went as far as to blame both my roommates for the theft. (mind you I lived with these guys for 4 years and would trust them with my life) Then they blamed my landlord. Speaking from the perspective of someone who worked for them. Did some temporary labor for them on a structural shoring job. I said I had all my own tools and knew more guys if needed. He (dave) said great. It immediately became clear that they loved the fact I had tools because they didnt have the proper tools for the job. It also became clear that I was the only skilled guy there (ON THE FIRST DAY!) and my 2 guys I brought were the only competent helpers., with the exception of maybe 2 guys they had , they were all nothing more than grunts. Nice guys and all but seriously lacking in skillset. They put me in the position of keeping my guys and myself productive along with 10 other guys who knew nothing, had no tools and were very slow to grasp construction concepts. This was all tolerable for me, except for the fact that they wanted to make the pay situation impossible to deal with. I told them i was only looking for temp work as I work for myself as well so the logical thing would be cash weekly with a 1099. They said fine. Once they got me started they didnt want to give me a straight answer when i would be paid (fri,sat or mon)2 weeks in they said I would have to go on payroll but not untill after I showed up and had to call them to ask them whats going on moving forward as the issue was raised friday before.. Which is a bi weekly pay schedule. What he also likes to not mention as I found out from an employee of theirs is they hold back 2 weeks, so looking at a month to get paid for a job that might only be another 2 weeks. I balked and he asked me to sit tight a minute and he would work something out., 45 minutes later I decided Im all set. When dave finally called me back he acted like a child when I told him very politely I'm all set. Bottom line people is that this is why they dont have anything but grunts. About a month ago my vehicle was towed from my own property from this towing company, I called them and argued why would they tow my vehicle if it was on my property and I could go down and show them my liscence and prove that was my address. I pick up my vehicle the gentleman apologies and says they "f*cked up" and gave me my car back with $0 charge. The next morning I realize my car had been damaged and quickly called the towing company requesting to speak to a manager. The general manager had me come down so he could take a look at my vehicle and said there was no way his guys could make those types of damages and i assured him those damages were not on my vehicle before getting wrongfully towed. He gave me his business card and let me know his guys are SUPPOSED to take pics before they tow any car because of that same problem, so to cover themselves from any insurance problems they are required to take pics. he promised to send me pics of my car before it was towed and never sent them to me, I called 5 (YES 5 times) the secretary always had an excuse that he was on vacation or out of the office and gave her my contact info and why I was calling. I never heard back from him, a month later and now I'm trying to have my insurance hopefully try to get their insurance to cover my deductible of $500. !!! These people don't know what they are doing, and are super unprofessional. We had a fire a couple of months ago and Action was the first group to show up. This is going to sound like I was asked to write this, but this genuine. I was very apprehensive about hiring them, but we couldn't do it ourselves. I was very pleasantly surprised. The workmanship (forgot his name, but he is a retired firemen) was great. He was very polite and considerate. The room with the fire had 2 laptops in it. I think it is about who they send. I had a problem with the cleaning crew (different company) and had them leave and fired the company. Thus far, my experience is to go with the more mature. We were very lucky, no one was hurt. I feel for anyone who has to go through this process. I would suggest that if you are in situation where you need emergency service, either call them and let them know you have a honesty concern or tell the person who shows up at the door. You have already suffered a trauma, you don't need another. read more

I was hired by Action Emergency Management to run there work and pull all permits. I had noticed after a few weeks into the employment that the permits being pulled under my license were not being paid for nor was the job description that was told to me at the interview correct and had approached the owner about this issue. I was told by the owner that if he had described the position correctly that I would have not taken the position and he had a hard time finding people to work for Action Emergency Management. The reason that this company can not keep employees is the way that they run their business and treat their employees and customers, total liers and take advantage of people in terrible situations. I would suggest that you stay far away from this company. They do not pay their bills and as a former employee I can say that I have still not been paid monies owed to me and have been lied to by office personal and owner of the company.
