Stay verrryyy far from this place!!!!!! I went a week ago because brake and vsc lights were on, was very specific about my issue. However, I was convinced that my 2 front tires were bad and needed changing and alignment and balance, charged $500, I complied. After 'repairs' lights were still on, when asked i was met with uncertainty, brushed off my queries, I just concluded to have someone else look at it. 1 week later, whenever I touched my brakes there's slight vibration. Got another mechanic, however he was unable to remove my tires, because my wheel lock was broken, returned to Mavis, told them my issue, no apologies, but the lock was removed. Mentioned, my brake lights again, technician said I can have look at it for you, silly me agreed! He said rotors and pads needed changing $500, ok. He returned awhile later, a cylinder was apparently broken another $600, now I'm $1100 in. I decided that was not in my budget, declined the services. Technician, gave me a paper to sign stating that brakes might fail. Ok. Same Technician that drove my car in was now afraid to drive it out, remember I drove it to them, with only the slight vibration! Tell me, why when I attempted to drive my car out there was no brakes?!!!!!!!! My brake was non functional! I regret taking my car here and I urged especially females do not go to this place, they will nickel and dime you for repairs that never existed until they touched your car! read more

We took our car over here for them to change lug nuts on our tires.They said they could not put it on the lift because the amount of rust that is on the side of the car.They did look under our car and did notice that our gas tank has a leak.I did not ask them to do that but I am very grateful that they did it because I did smell gas .They were very kind. read more

I was from out of town and had a rental car. The WARNING like came on for low tire pressure. I went to two different gas stations to put air but it was not filling up the tire. I called Discount Tires and they told me it would be a 3 hr wait so I used Yelp to find another place to get tire fixed. I came across this business and called and the gentleman who answered the phone said "Come on in and we will fix it for you!" I told him I was from out of town and he said "We got you!" I did a bit of research online, particular Yelp, to see who in my area was getting the best ratings for a routine lube, oil and filter change. Action Gator Tire on Vine was showing the highest ratings, so I drove the 9 miles to it - making an appointment first, of course. It wasn't super easy to get to, but when I did, everything went fine. The techs and front desk person were friendly, and bilingual, if you need a Spanish speaking person. As expected, the routine maintenance comes with some recommendations for other work to be done, but when declined, there was no additional pressure applied. The service took around an hour, which wasn't too bad, judging by the other 7-8 people already in the waiting room when I arrived. I even saw a few young ladies stop by with vehicle emergencies, like low tires and the sort and watched the staff fit them in and take care of them. Probably at no charge, I'm thinking. The lobby is spaced out to aid in social distancing, and of course, masks are required by both customers and staff. If I could make any recommendation, it would be make the waiting area just a bit more welcoming, but in these times, that's pretty challenging. Finally, when it came time to pay, I had checked in via Yelp and had a coupon for $10 off. By the time I got to the cash register, it had disappeared in the tech void, but when told about it, the cashier honored it anyway. A pretty good experience. I would use this store again. read more

I bring my car to Action Gator Tire (btw privately owned) and they are very good and reliable, Honest people. I recall a time where they performed a diag on my breaks when I had a concern with a sound coming from my breaks, they completed the diagnosis and didn't charge me. For the most part I get oil changes and tire changes but this specific location is great and I live literally a mile away from a chain Action Gator that over prices when I compare them to this location which about 11 miles away from my home. read more

We were in Florida for vacation and sadly we had to come here to get a new tire. It was Sunday so it was the nearest open tire shop available. We get there, the employee who attend us let us know they have a wait time of an hour and a half (note that there wasn't any cars but ok) also tells us to call him back at 12 if he hasn't called. It was 12, so we went back and the employe greet us with a "I told you you had to wait 2 hours" uhm excuse me but you said an hour to an hour and a half (note again there's no cars, just one) we just need a new tire, there's one car they are working on and more than 2 employees. Idk, if you make your math this waiting doesn't make any sense but ok. Now is 1, we are still waiting. Listen, if you are going to make us wait 3+ hours just said so, so we can keep looking for places to help us out and not waste our time like you did. We are not even from Florida, we had tickets to go places that unfortunately we lost just because of a wait time that kept adding time instead of being upfront since the beginning. Thankfully I'm not from here so it's obvious that I won't be coming back to this place, and if I ever come back to Florida now I know to stay out of this place. So sad I couldn't find a Latinos tire shop, they go straight to business and don't have you waste your time like here. Oh, and the new tire only took 15m to put on. Two weeks ago I purchased new $400 tires and had them delivered to this location. At first it seemed like a good reliable place. I quickly noticed that this was not the case. They told me about two hours and it actually took about 5hrs. The waiting part wasn't the issue. The biggest issue I have is that their tech scratched the heck out of my trucks new rims and on top of that the balancing on the tires was horrible. I returned to see if they could rebalance and they told they would check it. They did and still same issue truck would shake when driving around 60-70mph I ended taking it to the dealer and paid for it there instead, now truck is driving like a charm again. I would never recommend this place as it's full of incompetent people. Horrible horrible experience truly a safety hazard place. read more

Unfortunately I will have to knock down my review to 3 stars after today's oil change experience. I've worked with Jose and Pedro the store manager before who have proven to be helpful. Even now I'll say they're good people, and I don't expect to be recognized. But their customer service skills need work. I watched my car sit on the side of the building for over 45 minutes past my made appointment time. I went to approach them about it and requested an ETA at the desk, and Pedro became defensive immediately and started comparing their line of work to waiting at a doctor's office. How impressively insulting they think they're in the same line as a profession that saves lives especially during a period like these. The simple response should've been to apologize and give me a proper ETA which is all I wanted. This 28 year old doesn't need a grade school sit down on how to wait. And for your higher education Pedro, if you can't honor an appointment at a reasonable time, don't accommodate one, or learn how to space out your other appointments and walk ins. Jose the service manager was much more friendly and made amends. I don't know if I'll be back after today's experience, and hopefully they did not sabotage my vehicle for their alleged assault. read more

Made an appointment to check if my tires had a leak. I had to reschedule when something came up. They were very helpful in rescheduling me. When I came in they offered me great customer service, they were nice, and my did all the tests to make sure my tires didn't have any holes. I didn't have any, they did fill up all of my tires since tge tire pressures were low, and Action Gator didn't charge me at all for any of this. This repair has victimized women in having repairs not needed double charging parts. Saying they used dealer parts that when called dealers don't sell those said parts. Misleading females that have been regular customers over 6 years unknowing, th these kind of tactic like coming in for oil changes and being charged outrageous services computer bs charges. Having suspension parts installed without being torqued. Then after being inspected by another facility by ASE. Master technicians to find the parts were installed incorrectly and most likely were not needed. Performed alignments without given a printout because the printer isn't working but they can printout the outrageous $1000.00 bill and the response I'm going to give you a complete refund. Went in for service on my daughters very aged 2007 Honda FIT and the estimate was crazy high! I told these guys I was working on a budget since we are getting a her new car next year and I just need the car to be able to last until then. They went above and beyond searching for alternative part, and getting the basics done within our budget! The car was ready before promised and the shop is so nice and clean. Suffered a huge nail in one of my marginal set of tires, while vacationing in Kissimmee. Chose to replace all 4 tires, but the local discount clubs did not have my size in stock, and were unable to give me a specific date for the "special order". Checking Yelp I located "Action Gator Tire" on Vine St (192), and stopped in hoping for the best. Could not be happier! While they did not have my size in stock, they located tires and called me when they arrived. A couple of hours later, 4 tires changed, balanced, installed, an alignment, and free brake check. The prices were fair, they kept me appraised during the operation, fed me coffee, TV, and free WIFI in their spotless waiting area. All of the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Well, I can't help you with the first but I CAN help you find an honest tire / mechanic shop in Kissimmee. I brought my truck into Action Gator in Kissimmee at 4135 West Vine street and from the moment I walked in and the manager, Michael, greeted me, I knew I found a good service place. He listened to my problem, told me what could be done to fix it, gave me an estimate and then had the truck brought around and into the service bay. About an hour later it was fixed, done at the price I was told and was PERFECT! I now know where I'll be bringing my cars and trucks in to be fixed from now on. My husband and I got a flat on our way to animal kingdom in our rental car. Unfortunately we are responsible for tire replacement or repairs. I knew right away seeing the puncture being so close to the sidewall of the tire it would need to be replaced. ( I work at a shop myself) being so far from home it was upsetting that everywhere I called told me they couldn't help me and that they are too busy. The rental car was not equipped with a spare tire either. I called action gator tire (found them on Google) and talked to Michael. He was very helpful and told us to come in and he would take care of it between appointments as best as he can. Me being a service advisor at a shop myself I understand there is going to be a wait.
