Easily one of the best service experiences I've had. I came into Tire Plus without a reservation needing a new tube installed and a full check on my truck. I was in a bit of a jam, but from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed right away and treated with real respect. No attitude, no pressure just a team that was ready to help. Chris greeted me first and set the tone immediately with a great attitude. He was professional, easy to talk to, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Richard truly went above and beyond throughout the entire visit. He walked me through everything step by step, made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my truck, and took the time to answer any questions I had. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and genuinely cares about helping people. He stayed involved the whole time and made sure nothing was overlooked. Honestly, he made a stressful situation feel easy, and that level of service is rare. Their communication and honesty really stood out. They kept me informed every step of the way and even completed another inspection where they physically showed me issues with my vehicle that could have been extremely hazardous. I was already aware of the problem, but they took the time to explain the real risk of leaving it unresolved without being pushy at all. They had the parts in stock and ready to go, and their team knocked everything out efficiently. They replaced what needed to be done, changed all of my fluids which was long overdue, and made sure everything was good before I left. You can tell they care about doing the job right, not just getting you in and out. Despite me coming in without an appointment, everything was done quicker than I expected and without cutting corners. My truck honestly feels like a completely different ride now smooth, solid, and reliable. While waiting, I also noticed the shop itself. Clean waiting area, TV, snacks, restroom, everything you need. But more importantly, I watched how they treated other customers. Everyone who walked in was greeted like family, not just another sale, and that says everything. I also learned that a lot of the staff are retired military, and it shows. There's a clear sense of pride, discipline, and genuine care in how they treat people and the work they do. Most importantly, there were no games, gimmicks, or pressure tactics. Just honest, hardworking people who clearly take pride in what they do and genuinely want to help you and your family stay safe on the road. After my experience, I really don't understand the negative reviews. From start to finish, this was fast, honest, and professional service. Don't overlook this location. Whether it's something small or a major issue, you'll be in good hands here. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!! If you are a student of UCF or a parent of someone attending UCF, beware of this location. The location is ideal but the service is atrocious. If you are getting tires or an alignment, maybe they do great. But my daughter's boyfriend took his car there to have his ABS light troubleshot and fixed. It says on their Google page that they specialize in this for the ABS system. The part isn't cheap at almost $2000 for his Kia Optima from Kia itself. They charged him almost $3500 for it. And that's just the part. After the work was done, the light remained on and they told him that they can't reprogram the unit to get rid of the light. I then sent him to my mechanic literally just down the street. They told me they can order the part for about $1900 and was price gouged. And they showed me how they didn't even replace the whole part, but instead separated it into two pieces to make their job easy and only replaced half of it. This is what they suspect is the reason for the dash lights remaining on. Now we are going to have to fight corporate to give a refund so we can take his car to a proper mechanic to get fixed. Their price to fix was $4,406.91 while my mechanic has an estimate with the part directly from the Kia dealership at $2,971.00 out the door. What a difference!!! read more

I came here for a tire rotation and balance because I had some curb rash and was experiencing a wobble while driving. I paid about $70 for the service and waited for over an hour. After leaving, the wobble was still present. When I got home, I checked the wheels to see if new wheel weights had been installed as part of the balancing service. There were no wheel weights on any of the tires. I called the shop, and they essentially acknowledged that the tires had not been balanced. As a result, I had to return and spend another 45 minutes waiting for the balancing service to be completed. My advice: if you pay for a rotation and balance here, double-check that the balancing was actually performed before you leave. What was most disappointing was that there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. A discount on a future service or some other gesture would have gone a long way toward making up for the fact that I did not initially receive the service I paid for. read more

Discovered that my tire had a nail punctured through and needed a tire shop nearby to help me out. Called this place when they opened and made an appt for 2pm. Showed up an hour early and was helped out by George immediately. The place is neat and the staff is friendly. I was told it was going to be $30 to get the nail out (which is a great price)! They said to come back in two hours so I walked across the street to get something to drink. 30 mins later, the shop called me and said my tire is all good to go! So quick, so cheap! Thankful for George to help me out. There's no paper work involved too, everything is electronic. It's a breeze! I made an appointment for an alignment at 1pm. I arrived on time and no place to park so I had to park at a restaurant next door and risk getting towed. One counter guy and a lobby full of people. Two guys doing nothing at computers adjacent to the counter area won't even acknowledge customers. I waited behind someone being up-sold from one tire to four tires for 15 minutes. Then once they agreed on two tires, the counter guy calls a nearby store for the tires but that store won't give them up. He tells the customer she can drive to the other store if she wants them. Forgot to mention that I came in with all my tire pressure sensors working, bought new tires with installation, and left with at least one sensor broken. Asked about having it fixed and they said it just needed to be driven a few miles to "reset." These guys get the job done, but don't think it'll be quick. There isn't really a point in making a reservation, because they'll still make you wait an hour and a half for a simple procedure even if you come right when they turn the Open sign on. When I have a reservation, I expect them to have time for me at the time of the reservation. A really positive note is how they'd let you know everything you need to fix your car, but they don't push you to get it done. They let you know they're there for you when you're ready. read more

I've had two issues with my used car (2006 Scion tC) since I've bought it a little over a year ago. I went to this place merely out of convenience since it's located near my apartment and where I work, walking distance to both. The first issue was with my alternator. The price seemed reasonable, as car repair prices goes I suppose, and it came out to around $384. They were nice enough to waive the inspection fee of $99, which I feel like is a normal charge for most places. They did recommend additional services, but they did not pressure me into purchasing them, which was nice. I ended up having a friend fix the alternative issues for a third of the estimated quote. The second issue was with my clutch kit. I did get a lower quote from a small business (around $200-$300 less), but I decided not to risk taking the car anywhere in case it were to break down on the way. It was ridiculously expensive at $1281. The labor cost was crazy; it was practically twice the cost of the parts. This also included a $99 diagnostic charge for a computerized engine analysis, which was kind of wack. Both times the customer service was pretty okay. Repairs took around the estimated time they gave me. I have no complaints except for the fact that I hate when car trouble happens. And when they cost a ridiculous amount to fix. :( read more

Horrible customer service. I called and booked an appointment for an oil change, when I show up they tell me it's going to be an hour to an hour and a half unlike the time I was quoted on the phone. Then the mechanic yells through the window "we only have three guys here all day so it will take however long it takes". Like it's not my fault you are short staffed so I don't know why he was so rude about it like I was in the wrong for asking why it would take so long. So initially I went into TP for new brakes and rotors. Nice people, I'll give them that. One of my brake pads was installed incorrectly, which caused a my abs system to go nuts and it led to me having to replace the abs unit in my one wheel. (Another mechanic did that). After initially leaving a bad Yelp review, TP reached out to me and tried to make it up to me, which is rare these days. So I've changed my review. It still sucks what happened and I'm sure it was a mistake mind you but at least they're trying to make up for a mistake, which I can appreciate. read more

They also don't mysteriously find something new wrong with your car as other places try to pull. Terrible location. Went in for an oil change ($20) and they called to inform me that I had a nail in my tire. I asked to wait and see the tire before assuming replacement was my only option. When i arrived, I said if the nail is on the tread or shoulder of the tire, it could be plugged. Two of the workers started giving me MAJOR attitude. I informed him my father has worked on cars for over 20 years and might know a thing or 2 about tires, and would let him be the judge of that. The guy proceeded to argue with me saying "your dad is a car guy, we are tire guys, I've been doing this all my life" etc. I said, "okay 20+ years of car experience he knows a tire and if it can be plugged." Mind you, this guy wasn't even my case manager. So I told the guy helping me to take me to my car so I can make that decision. He wasn't too rude, but the other guy was an a-hole. When my case manger brought me to be see the tire, I knew it could be plugged. It was on the tread/shoulder. I spoke and FaceTimed my father, he told me to go to Harbor Freight to get a plug kit. Tires plus tried bullying me into buying a new tire ($120) when it only cost me $5 to fix my tire. DO NOT COME HER. THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY TRY TO WEASLE EVERY DOLLAR OUT OF YOU. They take advantage of young college students that "don't know any better." Not today! Will never come here again. read more

Never go to this location! They can't seem to get the work done properly the first time. We had a drive shaft installed and three times the seal leaked. Finally took it to an independent mechanic, and he said Tires Plus didn't use a genuine Toyota seal. We called Tires Plus back, asked for a refund on the installation since they didn't get it fixed properly the first 2 times and the manager stated they would order a Toyota part and make it right (3rd time). My question is why didn't they fix it properly the first time! I'm afraid to take any cars to them again and will pay another mechanic to correct their sloppy work! read more

My favorite place ever! As long as you have an appointment, they have you in-&-out in a jiffy. My oil changes are never longer than half an hour and they are very accommodating without the appointment. Today, I had my appointment at 7 but arrived at 6:48 and they went ahead and turned on the OPEN sign for me as they saw me in my car outside. Don't forget your survey at the end of your receipt! It takes about 3 minutes on the phone but you get $10 off your next services! I brought my car in because of a coolant leak on a 2011 Chevy. The guys were able to get me in after 6 which was convenient after work. I knew they were busy & the guy said the wait might be long. They extended their hours to 9 so I figured I'd wait. Not long after, the manager Will called me. Apparently my water pump was leaking. Instead of charging me for a new one, he called Chevy and insisted to speak to someone about the warranty coverage. I didn't think anyone would answer after 5. He went through the hassle of transferred calls and finally confirmed I was covered. Needless to say, they are honest and Will goes above and beyond to make clients happy. This place is very convenient to work and I get a discount due to my employer so it only makes sense that I use them for tire rotations, oil changes, and other general services, but I Just don't think I can do this anymore. While the guys in the front counter are very friendly and helpful, I just have to question it all now. Prior to this visit the last couple of times I purchased 2 new tires each time during my tire rotations because they stated it was necessary and at this point I have to trust their opinions and ethics. The problem is this, each visit that I've gotten the 2 new tires they are filled properly, but they appear to ignore the remaining 2 tires. Basically, while the tires are to be filled to 32 lbs, the two new tires are 32 or 33 lbs, but the older 2 are left under inflated at ~26-30 lbs each. This has happened twice. This last week I had an appointment at 11:30 (with a planned pickup after lunch at 1 PM - I was eating next door) and I took my car in for the standard tire rotation and oil change. I specifically told the gentleman of my issues the last 2 visits and he validated that the pressures and all fluids are to be checked each visit and that he would make note of it on the service form to insure it's done this time. At the time of drop off they also told me it would take a bit longer because they were overly busy so to expect 2-2:30 PM. I returned to work and never received a call that it was ready. Since I had to get a ride back to the location I called at 3:30 and they informed me that I should have gotten a call (I didn't) and that they found a battery cell was bad and they recommended a new battery - that someone was to have called me to find out if I wanted to get the new battery - they didn't. . At that stage I needed to get moving and couldn't afford to take a chance so I trusted their opinions and ethics and said to go ahead. They said they would go ahead and do it then and they would call me when it's done. I told them I would be there at 4 PM since I had to get someone to drop me off and that was the time they were leaving. They called right before I left to tell me it was done. I show up, pay the ~$187 for rotation, oil change, new battery and asked where the car was because I didn't see it. They said in their parking lot or if it's not there it's across the street in the overflow parking lot at the strip mall. I left to go find my car, it was raining and it wasn't in their lot so I went across the street to their overflow parking lot and my car wasn't there. I'm looking all over and happen to see a car looking something like mine at the restaurant next door. I run over there, in the rain, and it is my car. I guess the mechanic didn't want to get wet and wanted to park it closer even though it was in another location and could have been towed for all that I know. Bottom line is this... I shouldn't have to question if my tires are inflated properly each time when I get a tire rotation and it's to the point now that I checked my oil also since I was starting to wonder if the oil change even occurred - luckily it had since the oil was clean. With that, and my multiple efforts to give them chances, I will be going elsewhere from this point forward since I don't feel confident in this location's services. Too bad . . . read more

I ordered a tire they called me to install and did not intall it in the time frame I was told. I went to the shop to pick up the tire I purchased to take it to another shop. I was told it was a deposit on the tire which was untrue. It was charged to my credit card. They refused to give me the tire they did give me a credit. The management was very unprofessional and did not car about the customer. I will not be back. Poor customer service. read more

Very shady business practices. I have had good experiences with this particular Tires Plus in the past when it was a simple oil change, but when it came time for actual car repair they lost me as a customer. I took my girlfriend's car here to get the brakes checked out and possibly fixed as they were becoming non-responsive. We requested that they contact me when the inspection was done and they failed to do so. The contacted my girlfriend at her job and explained that the brakes were completely shot and needed to be replaced as well as a plethora of other problems that totaled to about $2200. Both of us are college students and we couldn't afford such a repair, so we asked which repairs we could omit and just make the car safe to drive. The total dropped to $1700, a number we still could not afford. However neither of us know anything about car repair so aw could only take them at their word. We contacted a friend of a friend who was a mechanic to take a look at it and he told us not only did they lie about how much work the car needed, but it appears they purposefully let brake fluid out of the car by loosening the right rear "bleeder" (for anyone reading who knows what that is.) When we confronted the mechanics inside with what our friend of a friend had told us the price of what needed to be fixed suddenly dropped to $440, and their manager told us that no claims of a required $1700 repair to make the car safe were ever made on their part, and had we called them to discuss it that they would have eventually reached the final amount of $440 they presented us with. We did not allow them to work on the car, and we have it to our friend of a friend who fixed it for $220 for parts and labor. The car drives perfectly fine now, which is what caused me to download this app, make an account, and leave this lengthy review. Don't go here. The staff may be friendly, and they may have free brake inspection coupons, but it's all a trap. read more

I don't even mind hanging out in there which usually I would have anxiety and want out ASAP. This place will not patch your tire and will always insist on replacing it. I had a nail go through the middle of my tread and they said it pierced the side wall. I took it to the Discount Tires on Alafaya and they patched it for free and saved me $150. I've gone to this place before and haven't always been satisfied but this time they lost a customer. read more
