Excellent customer service. Plus they actually know what they are doing. I went for a replacement key using a replacement key for the key to copy. The guy inside the store over heard me saying my key was having issues from another store . He immediately says I know what's wrong. Looked up my key code. State they cut automotive keys. Well don't waste your time, and go elsewhere unless want a soft brass key!! All modern car keys are made of steel or other harder alloys to allow for long service life, but these guys won't touch them. Waste of time going here. This guys are pocket rippers.my office got locked with keys inside and all I need was to open it so I called them and confirmed that the price was only $65 if they don't need to drill/complicated.they showed up early than supposed to which was good. he wanted to drill the lock which was going to cost me more than $200 so I said no just let it be than he came up with primers and prime open it which was 5 mins. Work and he told me $165 for his work which would have been $65 so I refused to pay full amount.Technician's attitude was miserable and lucked the door back again and took service charge of $29.99 which I understand I have to pay and left.never ever going to use this company ever better I will break open the door but won't use this ACTION Locksmith's help.. read more

Only had some keys duplicated and they did a great job and even had other key blank options which was nice. Prices were very fair, and they seem very knowledgeable. My only gripe is how they have to stamp all the keys with their name, Action. Also, it would be nice if they were open on Saturday, even if just for half a day. read more

There were dozens of results when I did a Google search for locksmiths today, and I feel really lucky that I randomly chose Action to call. The guy who came to unlock my car was there in 20 minutes, and he had my car unlocked in less than 5 minutes. He was very professional, and even kindly said, "I hope your day gets better!" when he left. Also, it was a flat $50 to have my car unlocked (I've paid closer to $80 in the past). I called another company before calling Action, and they said they couldn't help me since I couldn't give them my credit card number over the phone (my card was in my purse IN MY LOCKED CAR!!). Action didn't require a credit card number in order to show up. I hate spending money to get my car unlocked, but if I need this service again I'll call Action! read more

We have an electronic lock on our laundry room door that was not opening very well. We had another lock company work on it a little over a year ago, but they only partially fixed the problem. So this time I called Action Lock on 3900 South and they sent a technician the same day. The technician's name was Caesar and he did a great job! I was in need of a locksmith this last fall and got stuck with a bad company who took advantage of me....I then called Action and they sent out TJ and he was so helpful, kind, honest and very sharp in his profession. Last night, my niece had her purse stolen and that included her keys. I called her roadside and requested TJ at Action. Although he was not open they sent out a man named David. He was great too. It was late, dark and her car was a mess (ahhh teenagers) and he took care of it quickly and with kindness. I know Action could have charged a whole lot but David kept it reasonable and honest.
