I keep submitting issues to a department called community care that takes days for a response and I feel that it's because it never lists the right HOA on the response. I've submitted 5 and each time it's a different HOA that's not my community. Then, I wait 5+ days for a response and I end up going to the manager to get it addressed. Just frustrating. I truly appreciate the support I received from Scott and the team who helped me with the Safe List process for my rented vehicle. They were responsive, kind, and efficient -- exactly what you'd hope for when facing a stressful situation. However, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of support from the person who was directly responsible for handling my case. Not only did I receive no response to my polite and clear email (which included an apology and request for help), but I was also told -- in a rather sharp and dismissive tone -- that she would not share her direct number with me, nor did she acknowledge my position as a homeowner. I understand protocol, but tone and respect matter -- especially when someone is reaching out during a moment of stress. I've waited over a week for a reply from my assigned property manager at Victoria garden in Rancho Cucamonga regarding a critical refinance request--no reply, no return call. I do want to thank Scott for stepping up even though it wasn't his job. But it shouldn't take a detour to get basic support. When homeowners are on a time-sensitive mission, silence becomes more than a small inconvenience--it creates stress and delay. Hope this can be improved. Giving two stars: one for Scott, who was helpful and kind, and one for the team who assisted with my rental car paperwork. They made a difference. But during a critical moment, the assigned staff -- who I believed would help -- never responded to my email, nor returned my call. When my neighbor tried to help me reach her, the tone and words I overheard were dismissive and cold. I wasn't asking for a favor -- I'm a homeowner who pays into this association. If I could give zero stars I would . They are corrupt and shady. Do not choose, rent or buy from them. They took what was a small fine due to increasing their rates without sending us a specific notification of the rate increase (it was hidden in the annual finance packet) and they tacked on fees and interest which amounted to almost 500% (5x) the original amount due. My daughter has been fighting for her life in and out of the hospital and so I requested a waiver of the fees and interest. I was happy to pay what I owed but they didn't work with me. They took off like $25 of the almost $1300 bill (my original amount was just over $200 and yes now they've put a lien in my house for over $1200, asinine). It's highway robbery. They are just straight up evil, shady, hard-hearted, corrupt people looking for ways to stick it to us. After having to be out of work for a long time to be in the hospital with my elementary afed daughter, we just can't pay it. I have never felt such contempt for a group of people as this. Rarely in my life have I dine business with such outright corrupt organization. Hide the fee increase. Don't notify us for two years, then tack on 500% in fees/interest. Absolutely appalling. Moved into our new home. The existing association was just taken over by Action Property Management and I tried getting ahold of them a month after we moved in. I was told (by our old association) that we would receive a "welcome package" within the first couple of months after moving in. I then just forgot about it. I received a notice of intent to put a lien on our property on month 5ish of us being there with some cool fees they came up with. Did not receive any welcome package, just an intent to lien. Called and spoke with Vanessa who was about as welcoming as a computer and she told me that they would vote on whether to waive the fees. Turns out the powers that be "voted" against waiving the fees. This company is so unbelievably hawkish and cold. I hope they find love. read more

Board member review Action Director Scott Sears As a former board member familiar with 3 different management companies, ACTION LIFE is at the bottom of the list. Our HOA had previous issues and SCOTT SEARS has caused even more division within our association and neighborhood. He presents himself as knowledgeable but often speaks before verifying information he provides. 1) In an open meeting, he stated that he disagreed with our legal counsel 2) He takes the path of least resistance and will lean toward whoever appears to insure that they will not change management companies 3) The level of service is substandard and it's all about retaining an account, not quality customer service 4) Keeping an account is the priority of this company, not actually fulfilling their contract or our CC&R's 5) When requesting information from Action as a homeowner, he is selective and caters to the homeowners who support certain board members and he appears to target other homeowners 6) Be wary of their vetting of vendors 7) Speak to other associations who have used Action in the past and have moved on The transition to Action has been a train wreck. The neighborhood received flowers on their porches when Action took over which now appears to be a gesture of empty promises. Homeowners can't reach a live person. You have to leave a message and you will receive a call back 24-48 hours later. Do they farm out their calls to a 3rd world company? Are they receiving that many complaints? Secret shop this company. Do your own research and educate yourself and your association. read more

Once again, we are being harassed by Susan. We live in Autumn Ridge in Riverside. I would never again live in a community run by Action Property Management. We received an email today because we had "large trees" in our front yard for a while. Actually, our landscaper picked them up and literally, they were in our front yard for 3 hours as they were digging the holes. Susan also questioned "construction" we were doing. We are redoing a broken shower. I find it ironic, neighbors can park 40' travel trailers on the street with cones for 2-3 days. Several houses have bright blue trim or are painted bright yellow. But I'm sure they are "friends" of a board member. This association is run poorly and at best, the only plus is that it's a gated community. Well, that is, when the gates are working. Poor service. Abandon car has been parked near our residence for about 5-7 months now; nver moved! They assured me they do inspections, but apparently just can't seem to find this broken down vehicle with 2 flat tires. The quality of a community is determined so much by the quality of care--things can go bad quickly if not properly managed. But Action Property took over my community's management at the beginning of the year, and I have been very pleased with their responsiveness to issues and maintenance of the community. I once submitted an action item on a Saturday, not expecting to hear a response until the following week--but I heard a response by that afternoon! Not getting good customer service with this company. Just moved into the Lake Elsinore area a few months ago. We are trying to get our questions answered in order to submit our backyard plan and documents. I called serveral times to speak with someone only to get transferred to voicemail. After several attempts to leave messages, the person I am supposed to speak with tells me to call another person. When I called today, the receptionist (who was very nice and sympathetic), transferred me to the same person I have been trying to reach for the past week, only for me to get her voicemail again! I called back and told the receptionist that I wanted to speak with the other person I was referred to, and was told she was not available! YIKES! The receptionist told be she would give the message to the contact who will call me back tomorrow morning. I asked if I could just come down to the office to speak with someone. The receptionist told me to call before I come down to make sure someone was there who could answer my questions. YIKES again! We just want someone to answer a few questions (for instance, the Neighbor Awareness form is not designed to fit how our house is situated on the street), where does the $125.00 "Architectual Review Fee" go? What are we paying for if we already pay an association fee? UPDATE: Found Elizabeth Marete's email address on the Westridge website. Sent her an email, only to receive her out of office message. I would not trust this company. They have lost my Power of Attny multiple times because staff keeps quitting and new people have no clue how to properly document anything. They are unhelpful and condescending even when wrong. They wrongly fined me for a parking violation and it took months to get it reversed. Then the said I had to paint a small portion of the front of the house which I did in 30 days but the fined me anyways saying I didn't do it. They never inspected it. Another headache bringing in the receipts and making them come out to the property. I don't know how they keep clients or stay in business. read more

Very poor customer service! Recently, I had to provided a copy of my power of attorney letter (since I'm not the homeowner) so I could get the new remotes for our community. Now, when I call in they tell me that they don't show record that I provided a copy of the document and refuse to talk to me. I told them I emailed it to, Tiffany Kaldenbach, the community manager, so they immediately shot me to her voice mail. I have made several attempts to reach Tiffany Kaldenbach, however, she never returns a call. Also, our HOA fees continue to go up, however, the service is poor. When I called, I asked about how often do they patrol our community, she told me they make frequent inspections. Then I told her that's odd, because there has been a broken down abandon vehicle with two flat tires sitting on our street for months! She seemed surprised and said she will have someone look into it. Guess what, it's still still there with no notice/citation. Yeah, I can see these high HOA fees are going to good use.
