    unprofessional. Hard to get a hold of. Lies to their tenant and will not fix or pay for anything. Don't rent from them.

My experience at 524 W Greenwood Ave has been some of the most unnecessarily stressful of my 50 + years as a renter. I was a homeowner a few times during this time also I am very aware of the responsibilities of an owner and as a renter. Roberts client, and defacto mother/tenant have made it nearly impossible for Robert to have managed my tenancy properly. I want to believe, given the appropriate opportunity, I would have experienced a more favorable outcome. Robert, to my knowledge, has not been directly involved in the nefarious actions of his clients. The turning off of my heat and hot water on several occasions in the past month. The hiding of my trash cans. The theft of my mail and subsequent use of my bankcard by a family member. The constant harassment, verbal assaults, physical threats and finally lying regarding my exclusive use of a patio and then in retaliation, excluding it as a punishment. I believe Robert was acting in good faith regarding his client. However I have and continue to suffer greatly at the hands of his client. I can only close my eyes, click my heels together 3 times and repeat, "there's no place like home," and hope a house falls on top of his client. When I open my eyes I will be transported to the home of my dreams, on 3/2/2026, far, far away from this scary horrible place. I will pray for the next tenant!

David and Ron with Assembly are two of the most dedicated managers I have met in LA. My family is no stranger to property owning; we understand "the good and the bad and the nightmares" of owning properties, HOA boards, and management companies. I had a pipe burst in my master bedroom, and David oversaw the remediation "by the book". It was timely, met the various benchmarks to avoid potential litigation, and was well within an acceptable time vs cost comparison, for the scope of work. Although I STILL currently have no ceiling in my second bedroom (due to a secondary issue/active roof leak), David and Ron are working tirelessly with my HOA Board and their requested vendors to resolve the issues as "cheaply" as possible for the Board. Timely and efficient might not be in my HOA Board's vocabulary when "cheap" is the priority, but I know that Ron and David have the heart and dedication to resolve issues in an equitable, fair, and efficient way. Thirty days and counting without a ceiling and active roof leaks might be my HOA Board member's "normal," but David and Ron manage that expectation with professionalism. David and Ron prioritize people, owners, and their overall investment from a big-picture POV, and that is what you want in a manager and management company. David and Ron are the first point of contact for a plethora of problems that arise daily for people just simply living their lives, and who need help getting back to their "normal". David and Ron's temperament puts them on par with sainthood. They are two of the best. Customer service is not lost with David and Ron. I hope they never leave Assembly or change condo assignments. They are a great asset to Assembly, and Assembly Management is fantastic.

The phone calls, if answered, were gaslighted, as in "you'll get it soon," or just ghosted and never returned. The simple issue that severely restricts my access to my own property is being ignored for months and dozens of requests are being ignored. The issue persists.

Many homeowners, including myself, were frustrated with CCM unprofessional management and frequent delays in processing work and immaturity. The California condo management company is not good at handling things even until the end of the contract. It's just disappointing. Well, it's not exactly new, as this happens so often. CCM sent us the October HOA bill even our contract with them has already expired, and a new management company has already taken over and they sent us the October bill. Let me give you some examples of problems that have occurred before. - A letter was sent to homeowners from CCM 9 months later demanding payment for an already paid payment (several homeowners received the same notification, but they never explained or mentioned whether it was a system issue or poor management). In the end, due to the management company's poor management and lack of work ability, homeowners had to call the bank to check for the amount already paid nine months ago and have to requested to stop payment as a lost check. But CCM has not made any apology for its negligence. -The board members, the management (CCM), and I agreed to notify me, the homeowner, of the HOA meeting results via video meeting the next day by email. However, the management (CCM) delayed this, and despite my repeated requests, only notified me by email eight days later.But there was no explanation or apology for the delay. -After a legal battle, the court ruled that the HOA must pay the homeowners within 30 days. However, the California condo management company, which handles the HOA's payments, failed to pay within the statutory 30 days and sent the payment well afterward. However, the California condo management company falsely told the HOA board members that they had already sent the payment a few days earlier. However, when I pressed them, they emailed me that they still hadn't sent the payment, saying it would be mailed the next day. I emailed CCM to inquire why the management company representative falsely stated to one of the HOA board members that she had already sent the payment to me a few days earlier, even though she had not. After that I have not received any response or apology from CCM. -Meanwhile, homeowners were becoming increasingly frustrated with the poor management of the California condominium management company, which ultimately terminated their contracts with CCM and had to hand over our HOA information to a new management company. However, CCM provided the new management company with incorrect information about the HOA fee, it charged homeowners each month, causing confusion for both the homeowners and the new management company. Furthermore, CCM sent us our HOA fee bill this month, even though our contracts had ended with CCM and no longer as our management company. Until the end, they continue to make mistakes and do things unprofessionally. There are other issues with the non-professional aspects of CCM's management and business practices, but I will not discuss them further here. CCM company owners should pay more attention to their employees' ability to manage their work. Otherwise, it seems like the company is being run with a blind eye. This is the worst of the worst. It's a mystery how a company like this, with such a mess of operations, is still going. I don't understand. Just avoid this company. If you want to experience the worst of the worst...

Their application is misleading, they say they require specific things which is all uploaded and then once you pay, the actually require a lot more. My employer said the information they ask is pretty invasive. As if the paystubs and tax return isn't enough. Also shortly after we applied we were told they selected applicants. Due to both of us having very busy careers and daily life responsibilities, we would not be able to dedicate quality attention and time to any future tenant concerns or repair request that may arise. Our realtor at the time recommended we contact "El Camino Property Management" who he had been using for his rental properties and gave them rave reviews. We eventually made contact with Josue Barrios with "El Camino Property Management" and scheduled to meet and do a walk through of the property. Josue was very professional and very knowledgeable on the surrounding rental trends. He provided us with great ideas and strategies on how to market our property. Josue introduced us to one of his office partners by the name of Minerva, who has been fantastic. Our property is currently being rented and Minerva has walked us through the whole management process. As we had predicted the tenant has had a couple of concerns and repairs and Minerva has immediately notified us and together have resolved the problem in a timely manner. We truly feel that our property is in good hands with "El Camino property Management" and our tenant is very happy.
