I used Matt On February 5,2020 and while he got the job done He charged me $600 an Hour (not a day) to do the job so he was here for 8 hours over 2 visits and the bill came to a whopping $5200. and he didn't even pump the tank for this amount,while this is bad this wasn't the worst of it, he came onto the site with his excavator and destroyed everything within his path or sight. to explain he had a wrought iron fence that had to be removed which was not cemented into the ground so it could have been dug up and placed elsewhere instead he choose to rip it up with his excavator and turn a straight fence into what is now a metal Pretzel. Next i had stepping stones laying on the ground he chose to run over them and crush them versus just moving them aside himself or by his helper Hector or asking me to do so, then there were all sorts of shrubbery Azalea's and plants which could have been dug up and replanted he chose to just ripped them out using his excavator and run over and kill what he didn't rip out, then there the Irrigation system he could have remove the heads and pipes but again he found it easier to just crush them and not make them find able to replace , then there the Weeping Willow Tree in the court yard that he piled the dirt on the roots with the excavator and then it came to moving the dirt off the roots he could have either raked or shoveled the dirt back in the hole but Matt chose to use the excavator and chopped up the roots of the Weeping Willow Tree thereby probably killing what was once a beautiful tree. there was electric line under the ground going to the lighting system in the backyard which he cut and didn't tell me about nor pull up the line so i could reattach it. Now what was wrong with the system was this it was clogged by the access pipe going into the system and within 2 minutes of prodding, it opened up and began flowing and in the drain field there was 10 feet if plastic flex hose that was clogged and needed replacement or clearing. Not to add insult to injury he coerced me into buying his own brand of septic tank cleaner at $190.00 which doesn't say whats in and for all anyone knows is salt, sand or sugar without any ingredients you don't know I've always used Ridx and he put it onto the bill and wouldn't take it off when i said i didn't want it. then with the cement slabs he ripped up he didn't take them away and wouldn't busted them up so that i could dispose of them instead he put them into a dip i have in my yard and now i can't mow that area i didn't want them on my lawn but apparently had no choice my courtyard is a mess and my yard is probably worse and i now have dead and crushed trees and plants. Now the funny part is while leaving with my $5200 check he asked for this review.I post this just so others won't get abused and taken like i was. read more

The main water line between the meter and my house broke. The land between my house and my neighbor was flooding. A plumber was recommended to me by a friend whom spent an hour digging before giving up and taking my money. Told me he couldn't find the line and to get someone else who can locate it by sonar, etc!? I spoke with Matt B at Action Septic and he came over as soon as possible because my house had no water. He was able to locate the break in the line which was over five feet deep and less than a foot away from the front of our house. He excavated within inches of brick and window, repaired the line, and spent the time to fill it all back in nice and level. He spent hours into the night working on the job and never gave up like the previous plumber. Matt was very nice and got the job done right. Matt just took care of my rental property in Alpharetta. We had new renters coming in on the first of the month and had to completely redo the septic system in 5 days. Although Matt was super busy and I only thought I needed a pump out our 50 year old system was completely crumbling away and worthless. Called Matt B with an emergency call (tank full), he responded right away, and came out very quickly for an assessment of the problem. It took a while to locate the tank, but locate it he did, and he was able to determine the problem literally just by probing the ground. And it turned out, when the excavation was complete, he had guessed the problem completely correctly. That's experience talking. It is rare in today's world that someone will give a spot estimate, and a handshake agreement. Matt was great, to his word, and dead on with his estimate.
