Did not have any oil leaks issues before we dropped it off. Had transmission service but not the oil leaks Moved the car first thing in the morning and there's a big puddle of oil. How in the hell do you get an oil leak like that by just dropping it off to them. I just drove it from Fort Myers which is 5 Hrs drive with no leaks the before no oil leaking at all. Not sure what could happen in less while it was there. I would not recommend them.

This was not happening for me, so I knew it was the fuel pump. After two hours the two truck came to my rescue in the cold and darkness. I brought the car to my home. Then on Monday, I called John's and asked if they could fix my car. I had several friends recommend them. I am so happy that I went there. They have a new customer for life! Pros: Very fair prices on parts and R&R. Nice and trustworthy Owners and Mechanics. Cons:very limited parking space. I let them know when the tow truck was in the way. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, so I just had to wait for the day to come. Once I got there, Gary and John were super sweet and helpful. For once at a mechanic shop, I actually felt welcomed and respected as a young woman and didn't feel like I'd be taken advantage of because of my lack of car knowledge. That was honestly super refreshing. After my oil change was done and I came back to pick up my car, Mr. Gary pointed out a couple of things that might become issues or inconveniences in the future. I told him I wasn't worried about them at the moment and for the first time ever at a mechanic shop, there was no pressure to pay for extra services or repairs. The DREAD auto repair on Theresa Drive in Jacksonville was able to fix it by replacing a few hoses ended up costing about 1200 in total!!! When I called The DREAD at first I told them it probably needs a new engine, but I just wanted to make sure so he could have went ahead and told me that it did but he was an honest mechanic which is very hard to find! He said there is no way the other auto repair shop could have diagnosed it with a new engine with all of the hose leaks, but if we replaced all the hoses, the engine might be good and it worked! They rebuilt a transmission and installed it in our car last year, and gave us a one year warranty on it. About a month ago it started having transmission issues and we took it to a different shop, just to get checked. The first shop (which is highly trusted in Jax) checked the transmission fluids, and said the fluids were good and to take it back to the people who rebuilt it since it's under warranty. So we did.. the next day...and it sat in their lot, for over two weeks, before they even looked at it. After looking at it, they claimed the transmission Fluid line had a leak, which is what caused the transmission issues. Sus since the fluids were fine when we dropped it off. They wanted to charge us the price of a newly rebuilt transmission. Even though it's under warranty. Claiming they won't cover it because the leak is our fault. crooked. Then, after having our car for over 4 weeks and wrongfully having to paying them... our car died again, two weeks after getting it back from them. Took it back and they said it was the rear driveshaft. Surprise surprise they say it's our fault and want more money to fix it. EVEN THOUGH THEY ADMITTED TO THE FACT THAT THEY PULLED THE DRIVESHAFT OUT ENABLE TO FIX THE TRANSMISSION. But they said it couldn't possibly be their fault. Shocking.... Do not take your car to be repaired by them!! Do not do business with them!

I took my car to Tubel's because it was steaming due to antifreeze hitting the motor. My car was…read morenot running hot, and it has never overheated before. I was charged almost $400 and told the issue was fixed. About 10 miles after leaving, my car started running hot. I immediately called the shop and was told, "That's strange, it didn't run hot when you brought it in." I had the car towed back. Three days later, I was told the car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, the car would not start, which has never been an issue before. Again, I was told, "That's strange, it started when I drove it this morning." While driving the car home--less than 10 minutes from the shop--the vehicle began producing heavy white smoke, which I later learned indicates a blown head gasket. My car was returned to me in much worse condition than when I brought it in. I'm not sure what was done to my vehicle, but based on my experience, I strongly recommend doing your homework and getting a second opinion before taking your car here.

They broke my grill didn't tell me when I told them it was broken the said they didn't notice it…read moreit was a busy day and my car was old they did a break job and my A.B.S. light and my T.B.S. light were on so I took it back the next day was told a part was bad but ok to drive without fixing it the next day breaks were squealing and scrubbing so I went back to see what was wrong I was told by the manager the don't marry the car and that my car was old and things break I only was asking them to look as to what was happening with the breaks since I was told I was good to go after the repair the manager Jim said he wished I never came to their store the mechanic refused to put it on the lift because they had also popped lose the trim at the bottom of my van I was told because the car was old and rusty it flexed when it was lifted and that was what broke it so I left and will use firestone in the future oh and when I arrived not only was no one at the counter the mechanic was asleep in the lobby I feel sorry for Dustin I think he's the only thing going for the place Jim the manager is very combative to deal with if you have a problem and escalates your already stress level rather than being helpful to a problem. He would rather deflect responsibility or help than find out what happened and I wasn't asking anything unreasonable or for free if it was something else's I'm willing to pay for it but now I just feel scammed because I ask them to fix what they broke. Maybe look somewhere else for auto repair that cares about customers and their cars I rate them a zero after my experience and will be making a reporter with the B.B.B
