This is a trustworthy and correct service. It's pretty natural chemicals, so pet and kids friendly. Dry fast and results can be seen shortly after. I called to schedule a same-day appointment and it just so happens that RJ and Ryan were in my area and they showed up within 15 mins of my call. My dog had been sick for the last few days and ended up having an accident on my area rug. Upon inspecting said rug, RJ provided me with a couple options at different price points. They took the time to explain to me the procedure and how their additional sanitization treatment will completely remove the fecal matter from my rug. Within another 20 mins, I had my rug back like new. Rude, dropped my heavy bed to the point I heard a big "bang" twice!!! 1. They broke my bed 2. Over charged me $550. With that much of money, I could have gotten a new carpet since only two rooms are required to clean. 3. They don't pick up furnitures, so they only cleaned up a very small section of the carpet. Per other ChemDry located in different locations, they told me that they do lift up furnitures and clean the areas underneath the furnitures. This was a rip off!!!! Don't trust their rating on Yelp because anyone can create different account emails and profiles and give themselves a positive reviews. I looked up ChemDry on Groupon and the cost of cleaning four rooms are only $150. When I called other ChemDry location, which is owned by a different owner told me that I got ripped off. I will report you to BBB and the state of California if I don't get at least half of the money I paid for. read more

RJ showed up during the window scheduled and left carpets looking great. Ended up deep cleaning the family room where the most wear and tear was obvious. Carpets look much better and dryer than when I steam cleaned them last (took 2 days to dry and they were soaking wet to the touch). This was definitely a better experience than steam cleaning. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The addition mess left on my travertine tile from the equipment was also thoroughly cleaned up before they left. :) Very pleased with service. I called and asked for a quote and told them it was a small apartment and that I live on the second floor. We set the appointment. When the guy showed up he said he couldn't run his hoses up to the 2nd floor for safety reasons and that he didn't have the portable machine. I was flabbergasted as I had told the receptionist on the phone that I live on the second floor. When I called later and spoke with the receptionist I asked why she had sent him without the portable. She told me one wasn't available - to which I again asked why would you send someone to a 2nd floor apartment w/o the portable. She responded that since I had said there was a parking area nearby she thought it might work. I wasn't very nice after that I admit. I was really upset that my entire afternoon had been wasted b/c she thought it MIGHT work. Really? That's just poor business. And to top it all off the guy said it was going to cost me $500 to clean less than 500 sq ft of carpet. I told him no thanks. Heck for that kind of money I can buy my own carpet cleaner. I was very disappointed in this experience and will never use chem dry. I am still flabbergasted that the receptionist would book a 2nd story cleaning when they didn't have the portable cleaner available. just poor business practice in my opinion. read more

However, what really sets them apart from the rest is their outstanding customer service. We use Active Chem Dry for our office routinely and they are always extremely friendly. RJ is the epitome of great customer service and we can all learn from him how to treat others. Because if this, I didn't bother to get quotes from other businesses because I knew that I trusted him to enter my home. An added bonus was that they both were unafraid of my in-your-face 70lb Labrador retriever. They worked around her, which I was incredibly thankful for as she has separation anxiety and doesn't do well locked away. From the scheduling process through the actual cleaning day, this company exceeded my expectations. PRICING : Getting an estimate was extremely easy. We knew that we should prepare for a range with regard to the specifics of stairs and tiles and even the possibility if going from basic to deep clean. So we did end up paying about $300 more than anticipated, but with results that we couldn't have dreamed of! The day of the cleaning, the tech will lay out all of your options. Its completely your choice on which package you end up going with. I didn't feel pressured to go with any particular package, infact our tech worked some great deals into our final pricing. CLEANING: Our tech was RJ. He was personable, knowledgeable, professional and extremely efficient. I am pregnant and on bedrest and the entire time I felt completely at ease with the process. RJ would continually up date me on progress and what exactly they were doing in terms of specifics. At no time did I feel like chemicals were overwhelming the house, which is very important when you're expecting. RESULTS: We had about 2 year old never been professionally cleaned carpet upstairs (with lots of cat throw up and foot traffic) and old carpet and tile downstairs. While, upstairs was undeniably clean, white and like new after they cleaned. The downstairs carpet was the big shocker. Before making an appt., we had even considered taking the carpet out before baby arrived because it was soo nasty. But as finances go sometimes, that simply wasn't in our budget. When RJ and his team were finished, it was like a new carpet!!! Dark spots...gone! Nasty brown color...restored to a lovely off white!! I wish I did before and after pictures, because it was nothing short of a miracle. The tile looked amazing as well. We added a sealant to our package and are happy to see the beautiful white grout sparkling through.
