My apartment management company (LB Living) uses this company. They are ridiculous! They are liars and are creeps.I recently moved into a really nice apartment on 4th street but quickly noticed that there was a huge roach problem.My husband and I bombed the place 3 times and set baits and these things were not going away. We had been contacting our management office to get the issue resolved and after 9 days they finally had someone come out to fumigate and it was these guys! Ray shows up at my door with a bait gun in his hand and while I walk him up to my apartment I question him about it. I've been living with roaches crawling EVERYWHERE in my new place for 9 days and you show up with a bait gun? Seriously! There must be some mistake. He says he'll double check with his manager Van. he goes outside and calls him and comes back up to bait my apartment. I immediately call my management office with no answer but as i'm calling Ray starts laying bait! I left 2 voicemails at the office and a few hours later I get a call from Van. The sales and service manager. Van tries to sell me on the bait! He says Ray has been doing this for 11 years and after looking at your apartment didnt feel baiting was necessary. ummm Ray showed up at my door with a bait gun which means before he saw anything YOUR COMPANY sent him here to bait! !st LIE!! I tell him I'm going to have him talk to my husband and he hisses "ok, well I'll just have to explain all this to him again". I just replied "thank you". When my husband calls him I guess he was at a loss for words because their conversation was less than a minute long and Van agrees to come out to fumigate. The next morning Van shows up at my apartment and its just me, my husband was at work. He looks behind my refrigerator sees one roach and calls my apartment management office to say it wasnt necessary to fumigate and that the roaches will be gone in a week with the bait! WHAT THE HELL!!! So I've been living with roaches for 10 days and you tell me I have to do another week because you dont feel its necessary?! Every time someone has come to my place since I moved in I was able to show them a roach and YOU dont feel fumigation is necessary?! I'm sorry I'm not used to roaches like you Mr. Pest Control but even just one roach a day is too much for me! My apartment management company is happy with his answer and their reason was because he could've made more money if he fumigated so they "trust" him. OK... at his point I'm fuming. My apartment management company obviously doesnt realize that THEY are his customer and Van doesnt give a flying care about ME! Saving the apartment company money... GOOD... letting apartment # 5 live with roaches for another week or so BAD! Since their company baited my apartment 4 days ago the roaches are still present and I am still pissed! read more

We are happy and impressed with Active Pest Control . We realized that we might have dry wood termites and needed a professional . We called Active and set up an appointment. Rodney came out . Very helpful in explaining and giving us a quote . Sinced a real honesty and knowledge of his work . He gave us his card said call if we had any questions. I did call 2 days later, very willing to answer also suggested I call office for my start time. When I talked with Larry several times also very willing to help with my concerns. The girls in the office were very polite and eager to find the right person or answer our questions. Price was great as well . We called for 3 estimates ,very well known . The one seemed very shady (terminx) the guy said don't call the office for anything just go thru me . Added things to the service we didn't need so price was much higher. I reached out to Active when I noticed some funny looking bug wings on my window sill. I wasn't sure what bug they came from and didn't want to take any chances. The Inspector came out and did a thorough look around my house. He took his time pointing out some damaged spots and identified the bugs as termites. He gave me some options on treatments and I decided to go with their whole home corrective/preventative service. I liked the idea of having the entire home warranted against any hidden activity inside my wall voids. I contacted Active Pest Control to come to my residence in South Gate, CA to remove what we believed was a dead animal inside our walls. APC sent Rodney Diesman, who arrived within the time frame given. He was able to access our crawl space and find two dead opossums that got trapped underneath our porch. He also placed an odor control bag. He did all of this within an hour. Rodney was very helpful, patient, friendly, honest and answered any questions I had. One pest I can not deal with is rodents. I found some droppings in my kitchen cabinets and cardboard food items with holes in it. I wasnt about to let the rodents take over my home. I reached out to Active who sent out JC. He was very informative and detailed with the inspection. I was sold. The workers Jerry and Bobby came out to close up all the rodent holes. We are new home owners and we were searching for quotes for our duplex to be fumigated and handled for termites and Chad came out, checked the home and gave us a better quote than some of the well-known companies did. He also informed us of the chemical that would be used to fumigate the property and on top of that he took the time out to educate of tenant on how to properly secure their stuff when leaving for the fumigation.
