I gave away my skateboard and longboard the day I moved into our first home. I noticed a family next door of skateboarders. They were more than happy to relieve me of my skateboard and longboard. I had a mortgage to pay. I did not want to risk a broken bone. Time to adult I thought. Five years later my awesome wife got not rollerblading. She wanted me to roll around with her while she practiced. I am not a roller skater nor a roller bladder. I used to be a skateboarder. I told her about Active. How when I was twelve, I used to scrounge up my change to buy bearings and wheels at Active while my mom, brother, and I washed our weekly laundry at the coin-laundry place next door. We live in Vista now. I wanted to check out the Active in Escondido; however, it has since closed. I try to spend local and checked out local skate shops but kept thinking about my old Active. I convinced my wife that we could go to Temecula and pop in for a bite at Old Town after to make it worth the drive. I felt like a kid again walking into Active in Temecula, same shopping center, but in the new location. I had the fortune of meeting Jackson. He is enthusiastic about skateboarding. I told him that this would be my last board, and for me, it was like buying a car. We talked about styles, boards, form versus function, etc. Jackson led me through each category and made me feel confident that I was selecting items that fit my riding style and personal style preferences. This is my favorite board that I have ever owned. The front cashier said my board was dope when ringing out. I already knew, but to hear the first person say it, made me grin from ear-to-ear. This isn't my typical kind of store, it's for people who are into snowboarding and skate boarding. My husband is a snowboarder and wanted to stop in. They where so friendly and helpful!! The guy up front was really knowledgeable and able to answer my husband's questions. He even told us the best time to come back and have his board waxed. We will definitely be back!! read more

I used to be heavy into Active until I realized that I don't skate or board. It took a few months to come to that realization, and when I did, I had invested a chunk of change into the store. The reason I started shopping here was for the following: Crooks & Castles LRG Supra Wesc Obey I was going through a t-shirt and jeans phase. Now not so much. But the store has great sales racks. I can't say much about the skateboards or snowboards (because I don't do either). However, I can say that they were selling whenever I was there. Parking is a breeze, and if you get hungry you can grab a $5 pie at Little Caesar's next door. Does anyone else shop here... read more

Active Ride Shop - Men's Clothing Near Me - Temecula, California

Hello, I have been waiting for the above order for over three weeks at this point. The shoes are in stock and we're to be shipped from the Temecula location. After waiting two weeks I called the store and spoke with the manager who informed me that they had not yet shipped the order due to issues moving locations but ensured me that the shoes would be shipped that day. After a week of no updated tracking I contacted the store again and spoke with the same manager who did not know why the shoes had not been shipped but could only offer to re-reship the shoes. My issue is that if they failed to send the shoes last week I cannot trust them to actually ship the shoes to me. The shoes were a birthday present that were needed for this weekend. I am very disappointed with the level of customer service provided and has left a bad taste in my mouth with ordering from active. read more

Went into store and cashier had no mask on. Sign on there store door clearly states that mask are required. There was one male clerk that did help me that had mask on and was very friendly. Which is why I gave them two stars. read more

Got my Snowboard board toned up by Collin. He did An excellent job with my edges and shaving off any extra wax. Like a doctor he under promised over delivered. Told me it should be done by tomorrow morning, homeboy ended up knocking it out in 6 hours soo I can pack up early. My only problem is when I first started going here I couldn't tell the difference between the customers and the staff lmfao. AFter a couple years tho I have all their mugs on memory. I've been coming to Active since I was in high school and always enjoyed my experience, had good interactions with employees here and there but want to highlight the amazing customer service Cole gives me anytime I have the privilege of interacting with him. I'm giving my 5 stars review for the employees Colin, Josh, and Molly. Went shopping with my son and we were having a difficult time finding sizes (this is an issue here) BUT Colin was amazing. He offered to go pick up the items we needed at another store AND had them there as promised. Came in and did some additional shopping with Josh and Molly and just can't believe the service these guys provide! I've worked retail/customer service for most of my life and it's hard to find people to go that extra mile without being asked and just WANT to help you and provide that kind of service. I love this store, I go every two weeks to check out the new shirts they have, I love Obey , Girl Skateboards, Active, RVCA and Volcom, a lot like Nino I dont skate but I do love the trend and the style. Been wearing skate clothes since i was in high school. The girls that work there are absolutely cute and very friendly to say the least. Managers are very nice too. Amazing selection in Nixon watches too! Best skate shop in Temecula. Only negative thing id have to say that it is on the pricey side. But their online deals are very good. (2 shirts and jeans for $60, Not bad) If your going into the store to shop and you pick up 3 pairs of jeans couple shirts and a pair of skate shoes (depending on the brands you pick of course) be prepared to pay over $300, especially if you buy The Hundreds brand ($30 for a T-shirt is way over priced if you ask me) read more

the worse customer service. i mean the workers seemed like cool people and all but the work ethic there is shot. was struggling to get apparel items down and honestly i dont mind if i dont get helped, truly, but it was the way the workers we're all grouped up in the front playing pool and laughing amongst each other as if there was no one else in the store. it was so awkward going up to the register too because theyre literally all surrounding it just talking and you feel like youre interrupting, which is noooot what its supposed to feel like. and then the girl at the register so short and dry i felt like she was real life mad i interrupted the conversation, i could not wait to leave. so so awkward, i wish 0 stars was an option read more

We have been shopping at active for years! I am always pleasantly surprised at the service we receive from the employees. Wil the manager does an amazing job running the store and it's employees. You never walk in without being immediately greeted by a store employee. If they are out of stock on any item they will get online and find the item for you to have shipped to the Temecula store for no cost. I can not say enough nice things about their regular staff, Peter,Tara,Lauren,Chris B, Andrew. They have amazing patience with kids and will spend time showing decks, wheels and all the accessories. They have knowledgable staff, who also skateboard/snowboard/surf themselves. You will receive no better service anywhere else in the Temecula Murrieta area. Active is the best! read more

This is the "Nordstrom" of skate shops! The customer service, quality, selection and prices are excellent! They carry a huge selection of clothing for men and boys and a women's section that has grown larger in recent years. They have a great shoe department with a wide variety of styles and sizes. The snowboard and swimwear selection is limited and it is difficult to find pants with longer inseam lengths in stock. The majority of clothing carried is the "Active" brand and although the quality, styles and prices are good, the maximum pant length is 32". read more
