    Rotten avocado for $1.99 !

Definitely deserves 5 NEGATIVE STARS !!! $8.89 for a mini watermelon ?!?! $4.29 for a small head of iceberg lettuce ?!?! Really? I was on vacation at the campground & craving an avocado so I did pay $1.99 for it but when I got home & cut it open - completely rotten !!! See pics !!! I believe in shopping local small businesses but this is one I should have skipped !!!

My Girlfriend's family and us were camping at the local KOA campgrounds and needed some supplies for that night's dinner. We had heard that if you drove down a bit you'd run into a small town with a market located inside. Driving into town and not really knowing where we were going, we came upon to local markets across the street from each other each almost the with same name. For whatever reason, we decided to give this one a try as we couldn't see the name but the outside looked almost like a whole foods or a sprouts of some type and thought they'd have a larger selection. This market has a large selection and had the ingredients we needed. The store was clean and the staff were reasonably helpful. Here are my recommendations: 1) I am sure it is easy for the staff to recognize locals from non-locals, and with another market across the street, it is going to be great customer service that keeps them coming back. For non-locals and first time visitors, I would say go out of your way to ask if they need help. 2) The store is large, and although neat and clean, first time visitors find them selves walking in circles trying to find things. 3) This goes back to #1 (Above), if you see first-time guests talking about things they are looking for take the initiative and ask if they need help. As we were walking around the produce section, we were trying to find something specific and two staff members crossed us twice without offering to help until we asked. In short, superior customer service is going to with customers. Give their jarred pickles a try they're great!

Horrible "new" ownership. The product are old dusty and overpriced. They are only kind to their neighborhood alcoholics.

Great store. Good produce and meat. A wide variety of products. I suggest this over the other market for sure.

They have the very best organic produce! The store is fully stocked and the associates treat you like a personal shopper at Nordstrom's. The Manager is highly professional and does her job with ease. I asked if there were anymore Trader Joe's special bags they sell once a year and she said yes. I bought some and a minute later the entire shopping cart that had them in it was gone. They sell fast. Once a year Trader Joe's puts out a small tote bag and everyone rushes to buy them as though they are Birkin bags. I was looking for organic vegetables and Mary showed me how to find them by their labels. She was so sweet and courteous! Then Sheily another crew member took me to the refrigerated organic vegetables and pointed out which ones I was looking for and where they were located at. She was joking and making me laugh. I was looking for organic garlic and Charlie asked if I needed help. He looked until he found me some and he was so nice. The people who work at Trader Joe's genuinely love their jobs! That says a lot about this company. They must treat their employees with respect and care. Alex helped direct me to find some chips and she was such a happy person. It was nice! Jordan he was so cool! I was looking for pomegranate juice and he took me right to the place to find it. He cracked jokes and his smile lit up the place. Frank was our last encounter and he checked us out. He was the sweetest of all. He really cares about his customers health as well as them being pleased with shopping at his store. This store was clean as well as their bathroom. The nice thing is they are fully staffed! This is my favorite Traders. Check them out. Also Trader Joe's offer little shopping carts for your children to shop with. Which comes in handy when your cart over flowers. lol love the crew members, manager and store! Their tote bags came in blue, pink, green and light brown

Wow. It had been a…read morecouple of years since I first became aware of Bloom Ranch. I'm not originally from California, but in the spaces I've moved through, I've always done my best to support Black-owned businesses whenever possible. Unbeknownst to me, I had no idea Bloom Ranch hosted a jazz brunch experience on the property. I was reminded about Bloom Ranch by someone whose opinion I trust deeply. She had traveled all the way from San Diego for the experience and left without words. She couldn't quite explain the levity, the love, the light, or what she had felt there. That was all I needed to know. I immediately booked a Sunday brunch and came with my partner and another couple. The experience begins long before you arrive. Driving from Pasadena into Acton, the landscape slowly transforms. The city gives way to rocky hills, rugged peaks, and wide-open skies. Then suddenly, you turn into Bloom Ranch and find yourself transported. Lush gardens, lavender, herbs, fruit trees, and rows of vibrant greenery welcome you onto the property. It feels as though you've stepped into another world entirely. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not only by the Bloom Ranch staff, the people who steward and cultivate the land, but by what genuinely felt like family. From start to finish, we were cared for, supported, and guided through an experience that felt intentional in every way. The soulful jazz music would periodically pull you out of conversation because it was simply too beautiful not to fully absorb. The food was prepared in-house, sourced from the land, and served by people whose care and intention could be felt in every detail. What surprised me most was how spiritual the experience felt. There is something profoundly grounding about being surrounded by people who genuinely love the land, nurture it, and share its abundance with others. In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, Bloom Ranch offers something increasingly rare, presence. It invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember your connection to nature, community, and yourself. I am filled with immense gratitude for having experienced something so special, created by people who look like me, people who feel like me, people who are intentionally cultivating peace, connection, stewardship of the land, and community. I was also filled with an incredible sense of pride. Bloom Ranch is the largest Black-owned ranch in Los Angeles County, and its existence feels both meaningful and necessary. Dr. Bill Releford is a beacon, a pillar of optimism, wisdom, and possibility. To witness someone carry the values and lessons of his upbringing through a successful medical career and into the creation and stewardship of Bloom Ranch is truly inspiring. And then there is Debra Releford, the Matriarch, whose warmth and presence seem to illuminate the heart and soul of the ranch itself. To say that I will return almost feels inadequate. It makes it sound like Bloom Ranch is simply a venue where one has an experience and then goes home. That is not what this felt like. What it felt like was being welcomed into a family. Into a community. Into a frequency of love, joy, nourishment, and belonging that has been needed for a very long time. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Dr. Bill Releford, Debra, and the entire team who made this experience possible. What you have created is deeply meaningful. Forever grateful.
