We have our two daughters in the trade up program and have sent all of our friends with kids here too. The trade up program is far more cost effective than renting each season and no other ski shop (that I know of) offers anything remotely like it. Before I detail this program, I want to shoutout Garrett and all the staff here. They're knowledgeable and really great with kids too. Also, realize that "warehouse" is in the name to help manage expectations. You're not in a Bloomingdale's or super upscale resort shop here, but the prices are great and reflect that lower overhead. Here's how the trade up program works: -You *purchase* a pair of skis and boots for your kids when you first sign them up. That equipment is yours forever. -As your kids grow, you have the option of trading up for bigger skis and/or boots for $25 each. An annual tuneup costs $25. This is a fixed cost and guaranteed for the duration of the program, until your child turns 13. So for us, for one kid, we paid $200 at the start, then $50 the next season, then $75, then $50, then $50 (this all depends on whether you need bigger equipment each season or mid-season). By comparison, to rent each year, you're looking at $150+$150+$150+$150 and so on (assuming no price increases). And the skis aren't yours to keep at any point. So depending on how quickly your kids grow, you're coming out ahead after just a few ski seasons, plus a set of skis and boots to walk away with when you're done (remember, you purchased at the beginning). My family visited the store to rent skis for the season. It's a great value package that fits well and affordable for my 3 year old daughter. If you plan to ski more than twice this winter, I highly recommend coming here to rent your skis. I really appreciate the store and its friendly staffs, whom are seasoned and experienced. Visit there this morning for ski and snowboard rental. Was helped by the young gentleman, Sally. Very professional and help my child to identify the which foot should go first. The other guy Joe is also very cool and help us to find ideal board ( hope they have hello kitty board next time lol). Anyway, thank you the owner Frank, and willing to find me a newer ski with low price. I bought a pair of skis the other day for a great price with great service. However, when I went home to try on the boots and skis together after they were prepared, the boots kept popping in and out of the skis far too easy for my level. I was disgusted and felt betrayed by man who called himself my friend and who I trusted at the time. Frank assured me that the skis would be done professionally, yet I was presented with the mere lies of a snake at that time. Frank has presented himself as a liar and a rat of a business man. Was greeted by a kind and helpful staff. The person helping us was kind enough to extend the date of the exchange program. After finding equipment , We were on our way to pay. As we were paying that person was explaining the cost of each item, that's when the owner got involved and was very nasty and unkind for no reason, at one point he said "well if you don't want the stuff leave it ". So we left. He is the one with glasses that just sits in the chair and complains. Found better stuff on Facebook marketplace at about the same price. It's a little more leg work but you will find newer and better equipment on your own. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! traded up my son's ski and boots at this place. They waxed and sharpen my ski as well. Load everything in the car and drove to the mountain, we're getting ready to ski only to find out that they gave my son TWO LEFT ski boots! My son was so upset that he won't be able to ski after the long drive to the mountain. Called the store and the owner nonchalantly told me "oh rent the boots and ski somewhere nearby and we will reimburse you" so we did and wasted more than an hour to get his rental and eventually was able to ski. I took the TWO LEFT boots and ski back to the store and told them it was $67 for the rent and they REFUSED to pay me back! They're asking for a receipt like as if I didn't call ahead that they made a mistake and as if we were able to ski with a FREE rentals! What the F! Who gets a free rental in the ski resort???!!!! The 3 guys in front of the cashier doesn't care how much trouble they caused our trip and still thinks I'm after their $67! You have multiple bad reviews for a reason! read more

If you know exactly what you need, this is your place to find used, cheap skis and boards with bindings on them. Otherwise- Do not come here searching for someone who knows what theyre talking about, for someone who will help you. We came here to rent gear for the season but this guy didnt even ask about our height or weight or experience. Instead, if you want someone to assume things about you, be condescending about your appearance, then this is your place. They're just trying to sell off these used skis, which is fine, but he has no idea what he's talking about. Looks sketchy, feels sketchy. Probably sketchy. read more

I researched rental costs for a weekend or a season, then compared to buying at a number of places. I'm a good skier and am going to teach my daughter and fiancé how to ski this winter, and after all the research, I decided to buy them skis at the Ski Warehouse because they have the best deal I could find, and the trade-in/up program for my daughter is crucial. Rather than finding expos or playing the craigslist game every year as my daughter grows, I can bring gear she's outgrown to the ski warehouse and they'll exchange it for stuff that fits for less than the cost of a one weekend rental. If you're on the US Ski team you're probably not shopping here, but if you're looking for the most bang for your buck, then The Ski Warehouse is the best place to go. They answered all my calls, stayed open late to take care of us, and even delivered our skis in an above and beyond service to get us our gear in time for us to leave for a ski weekend. I'm very pleased I found this place and have been recommending it to friends. read more

Horrible customer service. Don't patronize this business. I went in to upgrade my son's skis as part of the upgrade program we signed up for several years ago. We were originally told we could upgrade the skis until my son was 18. When I called yesterday I was told to come in today to exchange the skis. My son is 17 and when we went in to exchange the skis today, the man running the store was so rude and disrespectful. He accuses us of trying to get free skis out of him. I am partially disabled and walk with a cane and the man literally threatened to punch me. All I wanted him to do was honor the agreement we had made originally. I then asked him to refund the money we originally paid when we signed up for the program but he refused and started swearing at us. A terrible person with no customer service at all. I would have been willing to settle for a discounted rental for the rest of the season, but the man was completely unreasonable. I recommend you find somewhere else to shop, no one should have to be put up with this kind of behavior. read more
