Instead of wearing out the one pair, I decided to wear the defective pair until the store reopened. I even showed her both pairs of shoes so that she could see the defect for herself. Both the clerk and manager, whom she called over to examine the shoes, were very nasty and treated me like a criminal, although I did nothing to violate their return policy. I also had my bike tuned up and repaired there. Some of the services for which I had paid were not completed. When I asked to have them done, the mechanic was very nasty. When I took the bike with me on an RV trip across country, one of my riding companions, who is a triathlete, pointed out other problems that should have been repaired. I will never use the repair shop at this location again!

We went here on a Saturday when the weather looked like it was going to hold up, but Georgia weather could be unpredictable and it started pouring cold rain in the middle of our two hour session. The staff told us that we cannot get our money back for the additional time we didn't use, and we also could not get a credit to use for another time. I wasn't very pleased with that, because we cannot predict the weather, and we also cannot allow ourselves to get rained on with cold rain and risk getting sick. So we really had no other option, except to forfeit the additional hour and lose our money.

Bought an MCarbo trigger on-line but I no longer have the manual dexterity to do detailed gun work so I took it to Tru Prep. The gunsmith says, I hate working on those and don't want to do it. Fine, I thought, I'll just go somewhere else. But then he follows that with, I'd have to charge you an arm and a leg to do it. I asked how much is an arm and a leg in dollars. Hundred bucks. Sheesh. But I need it done so I said, proceed. How long will it take? A week, he says. Two weeks go by and I haven't heard from him. I call the store. He's not there but Amy, he's be of their awesome employees, offers to email the gunsmith right away. I simply want to know when my pistol will be ready. No response from the gunsmith. I call the shop last week and manage to get him on the phone. When will my pistol be ready? This week, he says. I wait until today, Sunday. I go in and he's got an attitude (how DARE I expect him to meet his commitment, right?). I merely said, I'm here to pick up my pistol. No apology whatsoever, the guy just hands it back. Three weeks and I still don't have my trigger installed. Would I recommend this place for gunsmithing work? Am I allowed to say HELL NO! on Yelp? Again, the store itself is staffed by nice people. My problem is with the arrogant, undependable gunsmith. Unfortunately there's not a way to post a review about him without dinging the store as well. However, perhaps the owner will see this negative review and realize he's got a problem employee who's reflecting poorly on the place as a whole.
