Took the MB E550 over to JP/Diego on Saturday morning. He removed the tire, put it on the spinner, and showed me the mess that Wheel Lab created. Wheel Lab charged me $120 to repair 2 cracks, and it did not look like a repair at all. The air started leaking out within 2-3 months, causing me to have to inflate them every 1-2 days. The work looked horrible. They did not even address the warp and bend in the wheel. Diego said he gets a lot of work that he has to fix from Wheel Lab. Anyway, he gave me a spare and kept the wheel to finish by Monday. He called me on Monday at noon to let me know the wheel was ready. Picked up the rim on Tuesday afternoon. They did an excellent job troubleshooting the balancing of the tires of my car. I've taken it to American tire depot and america's tire to rebalance it , and both shops just added increased weights on my rims. Even with the increased added weights, the car continues to vibrate when speeding up. America's tire said that the right front rim was bent and needed to be replaced. I brought the car to AD Quality Rim repair, and they said that the rims were not bent. The tire was out of balance because of the foam inside the tires were all bunched up in one area of the tire. They fixed it and rebalanced the tires with less weight. Now the car is running smoothly and without any vibration in the car. This place is amazing! I have a bad habit of hitting my rims, so when I hit the rim of my new car I wasn't surprised but still super annoyed with myself. Even more so because my rims are black; not only did I give the rim some road rash, I also chipped the black paint off. It was super noticeable, as the spot where I hit was now white. I did my research and got in touch with some other places. I ended up choosing somewhere close to my home and though they fixed where I hit, I didn't like the look AT ALL. That's when I went to JP and spoke with Diego. Diego was super professional and very responsive. He told me to bring it in the next morning so he could take a look at it, so I did. All I did was point out which rim I hit and Diego was able to pinpoint the exact spot within 2 seconds (literally). He gave me two option: to just have the spot fixed or have the entire rim redone. He recommended having the entire thing redone so that the entire rim would be one solid coat, rather than just doing the spot which would still look good (but not as good as having the entire thing done). I chose to do the entire thing and am so happy I did. My rim looks as good as new!! This will now be place for all my future rim needs. Thanks Diego and team! I hit something big on the fwy (long 2x4 wood, brick, log, something) and it bent my inner barrel of my wheels. I thought it was the end of my project car that I just begun. The damage caused very strong vibration and rumbling from the car to the steering wheel. Sounded like propellers from inside of the car.
