We just finished a flooring project in our home, and I can't say enough good things about this…read morecompany. The whole process was simple and stress-free. Our consultant (Tom R.) came out to our home to measure and talk through our options -- no pressure, no upselling. After that, I went to the showroom where I could take my time looking at samples until I found the right one. Once I made my selection, installation was scheduled and finished within a few weeks. The team stayed in constant communication, and the results are beautiful! What really stood out: 100% communication 100% quality workmanship Completion right on time If you're in or around Waukesha and need new floors, this is definitely the company to trust.

My New Floors Inc. really hits a home run in this department with Max Shaw. Max provided clear concise answers to all of our questions regarding the best flooring to select for our home's main level (a gorgeous Godfrey Hirst Pure New Zealand Wool Carpet) and he made cost effective recommendations for attractive, affordable, yet durable flooring options to use in our rental properties. Our experience with Max was so different than past experiences with "big box" flooring installers. The big box in-store help doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the product knowledge area and their installation "experts" were actually low-paid, unprofessional subcontractors. This certainly isn't the case with My New Floors Inc. Our experience from showroom to install was impressive!

Best Carpet - I had my kitchen, bathroom and utility room floor done. I am very happy with the high quality floor and excellent workers.

In the past 2 years, my wife and I have used Best Carpet twice. Once when moving out of a house…read moreand 2 years (and several moves) later when we found a home we plan to spend some time in. If you want to save time and not read an entire review you should already know how we feel about Best Carpet because we have used them... twice. The showroom, sales people and installers are all awesome to deal with and they do a great job. Now for more detail... The first time we used them in the process of selling a home. We went in, told them our situation and they did most of the rest. They knew we were selling so they weren't pushing anything pricey and there was no attempt to "upsell" us. They gave us some of their most popular options with price points and we picked what was best for our situation. After picking the carpet, Sam came and did the measurements. Sam is super personable and great to deal with whether he is showing carpet at their showroom or coming to measure your house. He's part of our great experience with Best Carpet. Once the measuring was done the carpet was ordered and install time was set. When the install day came, the installers were on time and did the job quickly but they also did the job well. Every cut looked clean, every line unnoticeable and very little scrap left over. We were more than satisfied. Even with being more than satisfied I didn't feel compelled to write a review because I had no personal attachment to what they did... we were selling the house so someone else was going to get to enjoy it. I have no doubt in the fact that their great job helped sell our house, however. Fast forward 2 years to now (January '19). We moved what I'd consider to be a decent hike for them to come out to. We actually assumed they wouldn't come as far as we moved so we started looking at carpet places closer to us. After dealing with Best Carpet the last time around all I can say is the sticker shock from other stores was insane enough that we figured we could call and beg them to come out our way but we didn't even need to. They were more than happy to come help us out, even being at the very edge of their service area. This time Sean came out to measure and he was just as great as Sam was to deal with. He brought a few samples and then priced up a quote the same day he measured and we took it from there. Their pricing is one-third to half the expense when compared to the options in our immediate area. Along the way my wife and I hemmed and hawed about the carpet we had picked out so we decided to go into the store and take a look at our options. Let's just say that if you can't find flooring you like at Best Carpet, you have some crazy taste and/or standards. They have what feels like (and might be) a thousand options. After picking a few samples we liked, Sam encouraged us to take a few home to see how they looked. I didn't really want to because of the whole being far away thing but Sam set something up that worked out so we could get the samples and get them back in a way that worked for us. This ended up being so useful because seeing the stuff in your own house feels key in this kind of decision. We made our final decision, the carpet was ordered and an install date was set. The day prior to our install, our furnace died. January in WI isn't exactly a great time for this to happen as your house needs to be a certain temperature to have carpet installed. I felt terrible about calling and telling them last minute we needed more time... Sam told us not to worry and he again made a solution that worked for us. Finally the day came to install. Carlos and Caesar were our crew and they are super personable and absolutely fantastic at what they do. Bottom line, they bust their ass but they don't just bust their ass, they work hard AND get the job done well. Again, just like the first house Best Carpet did for us, the cuts were great and the lines were unnoticeable. You know the movie "Elf" when Will Ferrell's character runs by a diner and sees "World's Best Coffee" and he gets super excited about it? Excited enough to bring a date only to find out it is certainly NOT the world's best coffee? The normal human reaction to the "best" of anything is an eye roll. That shouldn't be the case here. Best is actually (pardon the repeat) the best thing to call this place. While their carpet selection and showroom are similar to any other carpet store, the way they separate themselves is with sales and service. The name "Best Sales & Service" isn't really a good name for a carpet store... so Best Carpet it is and I can't think of a more honest name to call them.

Our old flooring was…read moreinstalled improperly so there was a lot of work to be done to prep the floor to be ready for a new installation. It was important to us that we had a detailed estimate with no surprise expenses at the end. Both Phil and Tony were very helpful with preparing our estimate and educating us on the various flooring options we could choose from. They were always available to take our calls and answer any questions we had. Once we had an estimate and our new flooring picked out, the job was started within a few days. Dylan did our installation and we were so impressed with his work! He showed up on time every day and his attention to detail was very clear. He worked efficiently but nothing ever felt rushed. He was polite, friendly and did quality work. We are so happy with the end result. John and his team helped us with the removal and reinstallation of our cabinets and appliances so the work could be done. They also showed up on time and took care of everything so the flooring work could be done. We spent a lot of time doing our research on replacing our kitchen floor and are so happy we went with Hunt's Flooring. We would absolutely go to them again for any future flooring needs and would recommend them to anyone.

My fiance and I spent over a month trying to find the right flooring for our new house. We went…read moreeverywhere and had a very hard time finding something. Given we had a budget, many stores scoffed at us when we walked in and they found out we didn't want to spend $8/sqft on wood flooring. Other places like Home Depot and Lowes lacked the style and choices we were craving...not to mention a severe lack of customer service as well. We were just about ready to settle when a real estate developer told us to try Hunt's Flooring in West Allis. From the moment we walked in, Tony and the rest of the staff quickly turned the frustration of picking a floor into a very enjoyable experience! Right from the start it felt different than the other stores we went into...it felt "right!" Tony warmly greeted us and got a feel for the project we had at hand. He eagerly educated us on different types of flooring, happily accepting the terms of our budget, and steered us in the right direction of the products he offered...which were very plentiful! Tony seemed eager to share his craft...Want to "hear" the difference between a floated vs. nailed down floor? Visit this place just for that amazing experience! What we valued most about Hunt's is that, right from the start, we felt like they valued us as a customer of their store. Before we even started to commit to purchasing something from them, the staff spent a lot of time helping us find the right product for our project...and also allowed us to have alone time searching and talking, free from salesman tactics or distractions. We never felt like we were getting "sold" to...and that was SO refreshing! When we finally did find something we loved and ordered it from them, the customer service didn't stop. Given our budget and my love of projects, I planned on installing the floor by myself. Many other stores, we quickly discovered, dissuade their customers from DIY. Tony was excited we were installing the floor by ourselves, and went out of his way to give us tips and tools to use throughout our project! If we ever need any flooring solution ever again, we will, hands-down, begin our search at Hunt's Flooring. What's more, we HIGHLY recommend anyone in the same boat as us to do the same!! Thank you, Hunt's Flooring!!
