Good food - shitty watered down expensive drinks - nasty health hazzard bathrooms -homeless person as "door guy" and the worst bar staff I've ever expeirenced. If you go there prepare to be dissapointed. They will literally throw you you out and curse at you. I will never be back, there are much better bars in Dallas. read more

I felt right at home at Adair's Saloon! Even on a random week night they had live music and a great crowd. Only a few people, but everyone was having a great time, and one couple even stood up and danced. Dallas folks are just awesome. The bartender was super personable. I had problems with my eye contacts, left my tab open, and he directed me to the nearest 7-11 to get contact solution. I came back blind but I still had a great time. I believe they have live music almost everyday starting at 7pm. The band that night was great. They engaged the crowd and were just having a great time. They even said bye to me mid song as I was leaving. Adair's Saloon is a divey bar but not dingy. Also they had a fantastic deal on Texas liquors. I'm pretty sure my tito's and soda was about $3 each that night. Crazy how just the other week I had paid almost $12 for a tito's soda in Los Angeles. Hah, I love you Texas! read more

Great dive bar- excellent burgers. Perfectly simple!

Established in 1963, and you can tell, which is a quality I find quite endearing about this dive bar. Haven't been to many (any?) bars or music venues like this in Dallas. Been to a few in Chicago and Austin, but none in Dallas, and obviously it's located in Deep Ellum. Adair's fits into Deep Ellum like butter fits into Paula Deen's gaping maw. Having broken my Adair's cherry last weekend with the help of a friend, I could now see myself ending every Deep Ellum night blissfully slamming Lone Stars while rockin out to the live acts. The old reliable standby for a comfortable cold one. Meanwhile the thickest, juciest, and most complete burger I've ever had! Gets pretty rowdy nightly and a little rough, but great place for lunch or after work nourishment. I have been a long time customer of Adairs----we were friends with RL and Lois Adair.I was there on saturday evening about 5:00 pm. There were 6 other customers in thr building plus the performer. My husband moved a table up to the front so we could sit with friend. A man, who must of been the cook, came out and said "dont move the tables".my husband thought he was laughing ar first but then decided he was serious.this guy dragged the table back to its original place. I took the chair i had takenand told him he could keep the chair since he obviously needed it for such a big crowd! The man was very rude and needs to be trained on how to deal with customers! I woukd have stayed longer if not for the bad employee! read more

everyone LOVES Adair's. honestly, i do too. that's saying a lot. i don't even dig country music all that much. what is it about this place? everyone knows the burgers are awesome. it's like a bun with a whole char-grilled cow in the middle; what's not to love?!? for me, Adair's is getting 5 stars today because of my son. i took my 8 year old to Adair's for lunch. immediately he was excited and intrigued at all the permanent marker EVERYWHERE. i got him his own marker. you should have seen the look in his eyes when i told him to go to town! it was worth the fact that due to a band sticker on the wall next to our booth, he was walking around saying 'butt trumpet' for the rest of the day. Adair's makes you feel like a kid again in that respect. my kid drew a scene from plants vs. zombies. and also a couple comic panels of a teacher telling a kid to get his butt over here; and the kid is coming toward the teacher, butt first. yes. 8 year olds. i am so happy i got to let my little guy go wild. where else in town can a kid draw zombies and write the word 'butt' PERMANENTLY on someone's furniture?!? thanks Adair's for giving my son a little freedom. for giving me a little freedom too! read more

i parked in the back of adairs and walked thru the bar with a friend from out of town. we stood in front of adairs and i was showing her adairs and the other bars we were gonna bar hop, then some fat dude came out of adairs and started yelling at us, that he was gonna tow are car. the parking lot was for adairs customers only. this was the 3rd and last time i was treated badly at this place. i recommend the bar next door the free man, better food better music better drinks and better service. read more

After ordering a Cheeseburger (BTW,it was great, the only reason they got 1 star) , while waiting for my meal, I was told, quite rudely by the bartender, whom later I found to be the Owner, that I could have 1 refill on my soda and would be charged again if I wanted another. As the designated driver for our group, most responsible and accommodating businesses would comp a soda. Not this place. And if I had a problem with it, the "Owner" told me he'd make my food "to go". The same "Owner" not only was rude to me/us, he was rude to everyone. Never smiled once. A regular, who let me in on him being the owner, told me "He is an Awss@@le". When we have many choices on where to spend our $$'s, you can bet I won't spend mine here. No matter how good the food is, it isn't worth dealing with his BS. I would encourage the "Owner" to sell, he clearly hates his job. Great food, Horrible hospitality. read more
