Anna Marie performed an eye brow wax for me, and the positive previous reviews about her proved to be true. She is a LPN and worked for an incredibly high quality doctor. Her ability to pinpoint symptoms pointing towards a health issue were specific and accurate, she also referred me to great quality physicians that can further assist me with the issues. But what I also liked is that she has such a calming presence, was able to accommodate me on short notice with my little one in tow and restored the natural shape to my brows from it's out-of-whack state. I'm interested in obtaining other services from here and believe they can fully meet the high standards that I have set for them. I've never found a spa that I could consistently go to for a bikini wax. I chose Adam and Eve Spa based on their glowing reviews and distance from my house. All those reviews are true. You can drive by this place a million times and never register that it's there...thank goodness for Yelp! It's quaint and clean and welcoming. She is a licensed LPN with a lot of knowledge about hair removal. I would most definitely recommend this place to a friend. Best place to get your hair yanked out of your nether regions! The pain is not that bad, and Anna Marie explained to me that after my third visit I will have very quick, easy and semi pain free waxes. I've been there twice now, and the second time was DEF less painful than the first! Also it only took like 10 mins the second time. Anna Marie has done an awesome job for me twice now, and I'll never go to another place for a Brazilian. She is VERY sanitary (doesn't double dip). It's also helpful that she talks during the Brazilian to distract you from the pain. She has a deal during the summer 3 waxes for $90. It looks like the girl doesn't even know what she's doing, her pull was terrible and the wax was like spider web and it's everywhere (biggest mistake I did lol) the pain lasts for a day and I never had that from my previous Brazilian waxing ‍ The quality of their wax was nothing compare to Annamarie's. I will never go to another salon for a Brazilian wax! No joke. The salon owner is/was a nurse for many years and is very knowledgable, fast and GOOD!! I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was. I I only went in the first place because I had a LivingSocial deal and honestly, I had only planned to use the Livingsocial and then go back to the place I always went before because it is a bit of a drive for me and also the place I went only did waxing....which made me think they were the best. But after going that one time, I'm sold. I will drive a little further just to continue to go here. In my opinion, the wax is better and the technician is that experienced and great that she's able to do the wax in half the time and with at least 80% less pain!!!!!! When she said she was all finished....I couldn't believe it was over so fast. Another problem I had at the other place is wax left all over me and many hairs missed. The other place had to go over and over areas (which should not happen in my case because I'm a blonde WITHOUT a lot of thick hair) which would leave me swollen, red and with a ton of red bumps that took a couple of days to heal. At this place, I was barely even pink and no unsightly bumps all over. Try it....trust me. read more
