Small bathroom revocation. We found Adame Construction on Yelp and, based on the reviews, gave a call. Gabriel came the next day for a site review and the day after that hand delivered a detailed, professional proposal. The bathroom was heavily tiled and had a 400 lb cast iron tub. Opening the floor a discovery was made. The entire waste drain was split like an overcooked hotdog, the entire length of the house, and had to be replaced. No problem, they said. Then I asked if, since they were going into the crawlspace anyway, could they also replace all the water lines to 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and laundy? No problem, they said. Victor and Fernando crawled in the cold dirt every day for 2 weeks and replumbed our entire house. Our 70 year old home how had clean arteries and an unobstructed, intact colon! The shower was painstakingly custom built by several technicians, the final tile-setter was a perfectionist. Miguel created textured walls that are one of a kind and, truly, a work of art. We are very pleased with everyone's efforts. They were friendly, respectful, and Communicative. All work is done by code with applicable permits and inspections. They are licensed and established and growing. I thought the price was fair. You can certainly find somebody to do it cheaper, but you get what you pay for, and why risk your home? Adame does it all without subcontracting. Electrical, carpentry, plumbing, flooring, everything is under their aegis and their reputation. Highly recommended, and happy to return to give a review on Yelp where I stumbled upon them.

This company has a serious communication issue. Based on other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one so BEWARE! I made an appointment with them for last Friday. They cancelled it with short notice. Of course things could happen so I gave them a chance to reschedule. Second appointment supposed to be Wed at 6pm (no window was provided). No one showed up on time nor did anyone call to say they'd be late. No responses to my calls and texts. Finally at 6:30pm - someone finally texted back and said they'll be there 30mins later (an hour later than the promised time). See text thread as reference below. If Adame can't even get an initial site visit right, not sure how dependable they can be for an entire project.

I hired Gabriel to start work in October 2022. Full house remodel. He gutted the house and then work started. New floors/bath tile/drywall/paint started... albiet S L O W L Y. I had random items delivered to the house for installation. Like a 48" range hood for a 36" range. Then I was sent a letter in Janaury that his attorney told the company that work must stop for 30 days. No work has been done since December, but I kept getting correspondence that they'd be back to work soon... A week before "the letter", they tore out the pop outs for my window replacement. So now the house is a mess inside and out. I have contacted BBB, made a claim to the contractors board, AND hired an attorney. BUYER BEWARE. He is a fast talker with a smooth way of biding your time. My money probably went to the job ahead of me. As seniors we were hoping this would be our forever home, now we are essentially HOMELESS!!

We hired Adame a few months ago to do quite a bit of work on my house, we dealt primarily with Luis. We had our master bath remodeled, with new, modern shower and jetted tub, new lighting and quartz countertops and sinks. We also had 8 doors repainted, 2 replaced, 3 bedrooms and another bathroom repainted, the cabinets in my kitchen and laundry room refinished, a kick plate installed on a garage entry door and a ledge replaced in my kitchen. So, a bunch of work. They came out after a couple weeks and gave us an initial estimate, and said they could start about a month later. Ok, things are in demand now-a-days. Their estimate was very reasonable compared to another company that was not going to do comprehensive work like they were. The work began, and as is common in the contracting business, there were a bunch of delays. Technicians missed several days due to different reasons, and the work was invariably extended past the original completion date. There were also a few times when errors were made in the remodel, including cutting the shower glass short of what they needed. However, and here is the key; every mistake they made, they corrected to our satisfaction. THEY MADE IT RIGHT. The overall quality of the work was outstanding. I would not hesitate to use Adame again for other work in our home.

We worked with Adame to complete our kitchen remodel and full interior painting. The guys treated our home with much respect and delivered quality craftsmanship. Hector and Armando are highly skilled, funny, and joy to have around. As with any major project there were unexpected issues that popped up but the guys took it in stride, guided us through and helped us problem solve along the way. Their approach to these situations helped calm my nerves, they were kind, honest, and understanding. Renovating while still living in your home is not an easy accomplishment. It's stressful - people are always coming and going, the entire house is dirty/dusty, and there is no semblance of normalcy. Some days we came come and couldn't discern what had actually been accomplished. That's the nature of renovating and that's what we signed up for but it doesn't make for a serene living environment. Now that everything is done, I would do it again but only with Adame at the helm. I highly recommend this company and crew and would use them again for future reno-projects.

To start off, back in March me and my wife decided to have an addition built inside of our house / a new loft. We contacted more than a handful of Contractors and came across just poor workmanship and high price tags from various businesses. We decided upon Adame, because I did my research on them as far as being Licensed, Bonded, and insured, and the State Contractors Board having no complaints against them. There was a prior employee who worked for Adame Construction who basically gave me the estimate along with a gentleman named Mohammed / Mo. Mo was the Engineer to get the sketches done and long story short me and my wife approved them and they were sent to the City for approvals / Clark County. The process for the permits were a pain due to Clark County as they can be a pain to deal with and took months before getting any approvals. Yet Mo from Adame Construction was honestly good at times of letting me know where the County was at, but then there were other times when he gave me the phone number and information to contact the City / County on my own behalf which I should not have to do as a paying customer. When it boiled down to getting the green light to start the project, me and Adame Construction ran into a disagreement which myself and the owner Gabriel spoke about. The price of wood went up significantly due to the shipping containers and supplies being stuck literally out on the pacific and covid delays. The only disagreement I had and felt like I was being taken for was the unknown price tag on the wood and the construction guys wanting to start working without knowing a actual price of how much more would this could cost. As I had an original price tag of 19k and then it jumped to over 21k, so you can see why I was hesitant, because if it went to 22k or higher I could've had to cancel as I only had a loan for a certain amount. When the build started, they put plastic around the area they would be working in, thick paper on the floor, and protective coverings for my handrails. The Foreman Hugo, Roberto, Curtis, and Stephanie are all very personable, professional, respectable, and listen to any complaint and or concern or even a dumb question that I may have. I was always kept updated on if anyone would be at my home or not, so the start times tended to be around 7 am or a little after 7 am. Biggest frustrations I would say were being given a courtesy call by the Foreman Hugo and updated / told that the City who was originally going to send out an inspector to inspect the prebuilt loft was being held off due to the trusses being named differently than what was on paper. So the City supposedly told Adame Construction Mo that they needed to come to my home to physically look at the trusses that Adame Construction / Mo ordered in order to move forward and continuing the build. Well in all honesty being told that we need to wait on the City to inspect and then we can get an actual inspection done was upsetting, because once more this was being delayed on the account of an error on Mo's side. This has been delayed numerous times and what's worse is being told that there was no phone number given from the City, so they can come out and look at the trusses, so basically saying they can come when no one is home to look at the trusses and have zero access to my home. I like my wife and many others work for a living and don't have time to sit and wait to randomly have someone show up when they feel like it or have time. I do not fully blame Adame Construction as they don't have full control over the City and Clark County when it boils down to approvals, but what I do blame is attempting to give me the phone numbers and information to call on my own behalf as if I know who to speak with and how to handle this issue. They could've asked the City for a good e-mail or contact information or anything that could be obtained to assist with when and who will arrive at my home. The City Inspector who came the second time when no Foreman was there / present, they almost denied the build until said corrections were made, more outlets. I had to interrupt and explain the loft was a storage, so they could approve the build. The workers that were doing my sheet rock didn't really know what was going on. To say I would hire them again, I would say a strong yes, as the work speaks for itself regardless of the hiccups we had and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done to their homes and or businesses. They are very trust worthy as I had given them my key to my home and back gate. Gabriel's team is definitely built on honesty, trust, and 100% skill. When something looks like it would be done wrong or messed up, guess again it is flawless matched up with existing pieces of the home.

Apologies in advance, this review is LONG, but if you are looking into a remodel (you wouldn't be here if you weren't), it is a necessary read. I have struggled with posting this, as I was given 10% off the cost due to all the trouble we went through, but now, over a year later, it still makes me upset, and the issues I see daily are a reminder. I only wish I had read a review like mine before hiring Adame. My husband and I have wanted to remodel our bathroom since we bought our home in 2017, but remodels are expensive and we didn't have the funds. Finally, after over 4 years of saving, we had enough money to complete this project. We had done smaller projects at our previous home, and current home. We did our research. Read reviews, and met with not 3, not 4, but 7 different contractors! After many months of multiple contractors in our home, reviewing estimates, etc. we went with Adame Construction. The project started off okay, demo took longer than we though it should, but that was okay. Everything was moving along fine. After 2 weeks, not a whole lot of progress had been made. They had installed most of the bedroom tile floor, and they had the Kerdi system in the shower installed. We left town for 2 days and when we got back on a Friday, it was a disaster. The shower tile was so poorly installed that in some places it was an inch away from the wall with huge amounts of tile not even covered in thin-set. Some of the tiles on the shower were completely broken and yet installed anyway. The bedroom tile had been completed and when our dog walked in the room, it sounded like wind chimes. It was completely hollow. Again, no thin-set coverage. The entire project was now going to need to be demolished and started over. We reached out to the PM and he didn't even reply. That night, I couldn't sleep. I was a mess. This was a HUGE investment for us and we had already given them near $20,000.00. Our dream project was a nightmare and we had not even gotten a courtesy reply from the PM. I emailed the owner, Gabriel. He replied the next day, and must have reached out the PM who agreed to come look at the house on Sunday. Gabriel's email made me feel better, but he wasn't handling our project. After meeting with PM, he agreed it was a complete and total redo needed, and agreed to give us a new crew. Great. We can move forward. Wrong again. Monday morning the new crew started, and tore out *most* of the old tiles. They said the ones they left were fine, even though I had no reason to trust that. We tried to be positive. As things progressed it was looking better, but we made sure to pay much closer attention, and then we started having issues again. They installed a counter top on the corner bench in the shower without asking our approval and it wasn't even a match. The tiles in the bedroom still had hollow spots (many of them) and now they were installing chipped tile (not tiny chips either), or chipping during install. The grout lines were bad in many places. The shower had uneven tile, more gaps, chipped tiles installed. We had to ask multiple times for things to be fixed, and requested they thoroughly examine the tile before installing the baseboard. They didn't. After baseboard install we did another inspection and there were still hollow tiles, and many chipped tiles. We told them again to fix this, and then they "colored in" the chips on the floor rather than replace. We kept voicing concerns to be brushed off, until I once again had to reach out to the owner, with another email full of photos and videos. This time, the owner came out with the PM to review. They agreed to fix, and started tearing out tile. When we got home Friday, we noticed they were "spot fixing", yet again, and they didn't even pull out 50% of what needed replacing. I emailed the owner, yet again. This time I was told the PM we had been dealing with would do the tile install from here on out and they would do a complete tear out. Great. Finally some progress. The 3rd time the flooring was installed it looks great, except where they chipped it behind the bathtub. The shower still isn't great, lights installed are uneven, old paint color still shows through the new color in places, floor tile has paint on it, but I just wanted these people out of my home, so we agreed to a 10% discount. Maybe you will get quality work, as many people seem to have, and maybe you won't. I wouldn't take my chances if I were you. While I could say they "corrected" many of the issues - it was only due to us documenting the massive errors and hounding the owner. Even in the final week we were getting terrible communication.

New quartz countertops, electrical outlets added to island.

We wanted to upgrade out kitchen by replacing our laminate countertops with quartz, adding electricity to our island, and replacing our sink. We also needed some work done to touch up the exterior of our house. After getting quotes from several contractors, we were very impressed with Gabriel's depth of knowledge and professional approach. He gave us a fair assessment of the work to be done, and provided a detailed breakdown of all components of the job with associated cost estimates. Once the work was scheduled, the whole project was completed relatively quickly, and under budget! We are very impressed with the quality of the work, and would happily do business with Adame again. They were very flexible with the work we wanted done, and adapted the plan as we went along. It was very easy to get in touch with Gabriel and other members of the company, both before and during the working period. Contract review and payments were a breeze, and the whole process went very smoothly. Thanks very much for the excellent job!

My project was a remodel of my home: entire kitchen, floors, paint and bathrooms. I decided to make it my so-called forever home. Gabriel was the first person I came into contact with, and as mentioned in previous reviews, when we met, he was wearing a mask. Kudos to the company. Gabriel was professional and just the right amount of personable. He listened to me and was careful to take my needs and desires into consideration. He was honest and open to share what he thought. He even encouraged me AWAY from designs for certain things he thought may not be necessary, even though it could have been to his advantage to talk me into the work! It was clear that he was concerned with what was best for ME. Gabriel made sure to inform me it was a large project and things would get worse before they got better. At the time, I wasn't sure what he meant. Until I did! This was my first encounter with a large construction project on my home but the Adame team was well versed and knew how to handle all the hiccups along the way. They were dealt with professionally and just the right amount of care. I changed my mind often and I was overwhelmed at times.. I can honestly say I'm glad I picked them for the Job! I am sure that any other contractor would have expressed frustration with my apprehension to make decisions on the fly, but they were patient, kind and allowed me the space and time I needed to come to the right conclusions for my home. I would recommend them (and have) to my friends, family, and you. They are well priced, hard working, professional, friendly and dedicated to making their customers happy. I would like to inform you of a total renovation that Adame Construction conducted to our home. We have lived in our present property for 21 years now and it was time to renovate. After meeting and reviewing several companies we decided to go with Adame Construction. My wife and I had never undertake a project like this. From the start, Adame Construction guided us with loads of patience while we planed our renovation. The result is stunning. Our home had a total renovation work which included flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, plumbing, re-construction, installation of appliances and painting etc. All work was conducted by skilled craftsman which was overlooked by supervisor who had the talent to advise and interject with suggestions. My wife and I always had the final say. We never were at loggerheads with any of the workers. They were always polite. The project was lengthy but worth it. It was true to say my wife and I looked forward every day that work was done. Adame Construction always honored their commitment. If an installation fixture was faulty they would install the replacement. My wife and I are pleased with the renovation and now we have a beautiful home :) Peter & Joee

I finally got my dream kitchen. I interviewed 10 different contractors before selecting Adame Construction. Their quote was in the middle of the others. I had very specific counter choices that I wanted my kitchen built around. Gabriel helped me find cabinetry and tile that completely complemented my choice. They completed the job ON TIME, and ON BUDGET! They were professional, responded well to my questions, and cleaned up thoroughly. Throughout the project, if there was a question or a choice to be made, we were able to sort through it quickly. Gabriel was on-site at least once a week to check on progress. Modesto was the main person that was at my house almost daily. Their countertop people and tile people did immaculate work. I could not be any happier with the result. Planning to do my master bathroom next.

Our project was for a full remodeling of a property from 1960s. Firstly we were impressed by Adame Construction's professionalism during the estimation process. They showed up when they said they would, provided the quote when they said they would, and finally they were very detailed in terms of both understanding the details of the project and quoting it. I used Adame before and they do A plus work. Last time I could not be happier. Today I called Luis and within hours he was out. Thought I had an emergency with plumbing. Turns out it was not!!!! Luis could have told me I had an emergency, but instead used his tools to inspect and said I was perfectly fine!!!! NO TRIP CHARGE. WOW. Most times people sock it to you and they scam you! Not Luis. A rare breed. HONESTY COMES FIRST. Thank-you Luis for your professional opinion and not ripping me off. I am a senior who is a single mother and you are outstanding. You have a kind personality and I certainly appreciate you coming out so fast with this Covid. I was panicking thinking I would need work done NOW. Bless you and your family. Gabriel Adame was easy to work with and gave us a reasonable estimate for the work to be done. We had a short timeline for the project and Adame got it done for us. Our new bathroom counters, sinks, and faucets look amazing. The only minor downside was that their installation plumber didn't wear booties and his boots were very dirty and tracked on our rug. Other than that, we are very satisfied with the look of the updating in our bathrooms. read more

Here my problem getting the job to the finish line. I learned that when contracting with ADAME or any other HANDYMAN-SMALLConstruction company IN THE CONTRACT FINAL PAYOUT my opinion is make it at least the final payout 25% of the contract. It is an incentive for the work to be completed. I didn't and agreed to a 5% final payment...ADAME will not provide an estimated completion date and basically says the "subs" work on their schedule not Adame's. I have no complaints about our work crew and appreciate their effort, but the the job has been on hiatus for 2 weeks, and NOT BECAUSE OF A SUPPLY SHORTAGE...WE PRE-bought the materials. negotiate a substantial final payment/draw to get your job done... read more

INCREDIBLE RESULTS in 3 SHORT WEEKS! The small, outdated kitchen of my 1993 Del Webb home, though still the same 10x12, really has DOUBLED in size in to a beautiful, CONTEMPORARY 2021 kitchen. Pricing for the entire project was also very reasonable! Owner Gabriel Adame and I met, along with Adame Construction rendering designer Omar A. After several fine tuning renderings of the design I envisioned for my dream kitchen, expert Omar patiently worked with me to get the layout "just right." Work began with TOTAL DEMO of my kitchen, counters, cabs, ceiling, etc began on a Friday. Just 16 work days later, on a Monday the floor to ceiling kitchen remodel was done. I can't believe it the same 10x12' space. My old, tired and impractical '93 kitchen is now a state of the art GOURMET KITCHEN, I literally doubled my space, cabs & counters. Amazing transformation by replacing old, off-white, refaced 30"upper cabs and base cabs, removing a narrow built in wall pantry and utizing the 10x12 space optimally. The best decision I made was the expense to relocate my huge 36" wide fridge to an empty wall in this 10x12 "eat in " kitchen, changing a miniscule 12" counter by my oven to a HUGE 48" wide counter. Beautiful DOVE GREY shaker cabinets, with taller 42" upper cabs, adding cabinets, gorgeous quartz counters are calcutta white with light grey veining quartz counters. I now have 2 pantries with PULL OUT SHELVES, pot drawers, spice cabinet, 2 corner upper cabs. We also removed an UGLY fluorescent light box, added can lights and a ceiling fan in my new dream kitchen. The project foreman on my job was Eligio. He was able to make this customer happy with his exacting workmanship and actually figured out HOW to make the typical (horrible, useless) lower corner cab workable! Fitting the 2 tier lazy susan carousel with a shelf beneath to "catch" anything that might fall off of top carousel. The darn CORNER CABINET was a thorne in my side and I hated all the WASTED SPACE before my new dream kitchen remodel! Cutting the shelf in half to fit inside the cab, then glue & clamp to make it a 1pc shelf inside the deep cabinet. His idea for solution made this customer very happy. Good teamwork of foreman Eligio and his various helpers. He was SO hard working and dedicated, continued working day 14 of project, after a late afternoon mishap with the circular saw. Ughh. I called him Macho Man as he just used the hand sanitizer and gauze pad I gave him, wrapping his finger with blue painters tape to finish out his day. Dedicated guy, wanting to finish the project, he went after Thurs shift to urgent care for medical care. You may have guessed it, but I LOVE my new dream kitchen! I highly recommend my general contractor, ADAME CONSTRUCTION PS - alas, this will not be my dream kitchen for too long. After the passing of my brother in Jun '21... just before the job started... I decided to move to NC and live near my sister. Hahaha! I just moved to Summerlin in Dec'20 and we designed & contracted my DREAM KITCHEN BTW - Pricing for the project was very reasonable for this incredible transformation in 3 short weeks!! I highly recommend ADAME CONSTRUCTION for any general contracting job you have at your home! If you need problem solving for construction, design, plumbing, electrical. read more

This company has horrible customer service. They wasted my time by having me text them a picture of my kitchen I was interested in replacing my counter top and back splash. Then they set up a zoom call with Ryan. He basically looked at my kitchen and answered a few questions. He said he would have a quote to my by last Friday afternoon. It's been a week and still no quote and doesn't even bother to respond to my email. Fortunately I found a company with people skills and who follows through. I contacted Adame construction for renovations. Gabriel Adame came to my home on a Friday. He appeared knowledgeable and kind. He stated he would have an estimate via email on Monday. I waited a week and still did not receive a proposal. I contacted Adame construction and was told Gabriel was on another call and call me back. I still have never heard back from this company or Mr. Adame. I was disappointed and would not move forward with this company as they acted with negligence before a project was even started. read more

We shopped around quite a bit to find a general contractor to help us with our bathrooms and kitchen project in an older house. We did not feel confident with any until we met with Gabriel Adame. We had a good, frank conversation about the project and our expectations and what is feasible. The cost estimate was reasonable and we decided quickly to work with this company. Overall, the project took a bit longer than anticipated, but that sometimes can't be helped, especially in an older house. We liked our regular crew very much and the specialists, like dry wall person and plumber, were fantastic. We are happy with the outcome, the flexibility for on-the-fly changes, and the responsiveness and professionalism of the construction supervisor. We will work with Adame Construction again on future projects. read more

BEWARE OF THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY! We hired them to remodel our master bathroom. We found out the vanities we wanted were on back order so we delayed the project 4 months due to this. Once it was finally time to begin the project- Gabriel (who we were TOLD was the owner) was super eager to make change orders and figure out a way to charge me more. Mind you, we put down a 50% deposit!! He thought we were stupid and he could get more money but I combed through the contract and found a big chunk of money that was incorrect. In another attempt to collect more money from me- he said that I need to pay another 25% since demo was complete, and oh, he asked me to write the check to him PERSONALLY. Hmm red flag!! We then did the research and found that Gabriel isn't even the owner!!! And that a permit was NEVER even pulled!! Shady doesn't even begin to cover it!! It took weeks for the demo which should've only taken days. The guys showed up whenever they wanted with rarely a heads up. Breaking point what when he asked for the check, and then sent over one guy at a time to complete the demo. A guy that was clueless and literally coughing constantly. My husband fired them and told them to get off the property. All tools and material was returned to Gabriel the next week. Where it stands now: we are getting the bathroom completed ourselves, we're out A LOT of money, and then received an email today from Gabriel, basically threatening that if we take legal action, they will file bankruptcy and we will never see a penny. He's asked us to wait, as they have NO money until their ERC is funded so we can get a refund. We DO NOT believe a word this sheister says. We've already spoken to a lawyer that has agreed to take the case. Even if we can make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else, it'll be worth the battle. I would have been more understanding if we'd have been told this from the jump. AT THE VERY LEAST we wouldn't have let them gut our bathroom. We were defrauded, lied to and expected to just deal with it! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

I discovered Adame along with several other contractors in the Las Vegas area when planning for a major remodel covering our kitchen, hallway (floors) and guest bathroom. Gabriel was very communicative and engaging throughout the process, giving me the sense of full transparency in cost, design and timelines. I also appreciated his use of software to help with the communication/review/payment process. The other two quotes I received, though cheaper, just didn't give me a feeling that they had things fully under control, and they also didn't have the full scope of capabilities that Gabriel and his team provides. So we chose Adame for the most expensive investment we've ever made, and we couldn't be happier. The guys on the job immediately earned my trust and we so helpful, communicative and kind throughout the process. Hugo was amazing and caring, Roberto kind and attentive, the electrician super friendly and educational, the flooring guy was energetic and fun, the rest of the gang all left a positive impression. They took care with our home to the best of their ability and did a great job, attentive to all of our needs especially on the final tweaks and polishing needed. For such a massive job there are bound to be some hiccups and challenges, which were all met with immediacy and transparency. I wouldn't have done it any other way, and the investment was well worth the cost for the peace of mind and reassurances delivered throughout the process. If you want the worst contractor in the world for a home remodel, this is your company. From the beginning, Adame Construction gave us a hard time. The contract was all in their favor with no timeline or end date. We were ignored when we kept asking . Highly recommend having a lawyer check it out before signing. It took them five months to start with lots of excuses. Once they started, it was still slow go with over 25 change orders that had to be paid immediately according to the contract. The low quality material he selected caused us to make the changes. What a great scam! We overpaid by 70K for materials they never ordered and work not accomplished. We ended up filing a formal complaint with NSCB. Adame was given two more chances to perform but failed again due to poor project and money management. He finally permanently abandoned the project after a year of hassles. Basically, we got ripped off. He used our money to fund other projects he was working on because he got greedy and overcommitted. We were not the only ones who got bilked by this shyster. The good news is, his license has been suspended. read more

Gabriel came out to my house on time and was very professional. Looked at my kitchen toe kick I wanted to redo that another contractor did that I was unhappy with. He was extremely honest and told me just to leave it although he could have easily sold me on redoing it. Let me know I paid a reasonable amount charged for work the other contractor charged me. This was very helpful, as I am negotiating prices with the other contractor. Showed me cracks and faulty installation of my brand new kitchen cabinets, that I was not aware of, that could have been a very costly mistake to me in the near future. Even going as far as getting a clamp from his truck and clamping two separate places to show me the difference had it been installed correctly the way it should have been. Should have hired Gabriel. He spent half an hour with me at no charge, knowing he wasn't getting a job. I will be hiring him in the future for some painting the other contractor did not finish. I wouldn't hesitate to use Adame. read more

I apologize to all readers of YELP. I use this site to find quality & dependability. In 2019, this company destroyed my kitchen laminate floors. I was having the flourescent changed to can lighting. The workers' ladders were twisted, mangled, sharp screws and repeatedly punctured and sliced up my floor. Owners, managers from Adame came numerous times (after I contacted the State Contractor's Board) to photograph and feel/look at these ladders. Adame said "it would be too expensive for him to pay an employee to lift my laminate & feed-in the new planks that (I) had in the garage." He wrote-off the $500 balance I had. Meanwhile, I spent 3 months searching for a company, an installer, a flooring tradesman to repair this. Finally found - and it was $750.... More than once, I looked on YELP afterwards to see if anyone else was unhappy or wronged by Adame Construction. Nothing. No one. So, I did not post a warning. This year, 2023, I was seated next to a couple at a fancy dinner. They had just been 'ripped off for $17,000 by a construction company on their bathroom remodel." It was Adame. I told her what happened to me 3 years ago and she said, "Why didn't you post this??" and I told her there were no other bad reviews, so I let it go. I was wrong.....And I apologize for not helping my fellow YELPers. read more

We love the work Adame Construction has done for us. We discovered mold in our bathroom. They came right away and helped us with the entire mold removal process. We decided to do a bathroom remodel, and we were so happy with the work. The guys arrived on time, they were clean and respectful of our home, and the work they did was fantastic. I needed kitchen cabinet repair after experiencing some water damage. Most construction companies would not take on the project because they considered it a small job. It might not have been a big undertaking, but it certainly wasn't a handyman type job either. Ryan Snider, manager at Adame Construction, came out promptly, took pictures and sent me an estimate that day. The cost seemed reasonable. Additionally, Ryan was responsive to texts and communicated well. The project was delayed due to the difficulty of getting cabinet materials in stock after being ordered. Once materials arrived, Luis and Modesto went to work. They both took great pride and care in their work. Luis was able to duplicate a very difficult wall texture, and Modesto skillfully made adjustments for cabinet parts that were no longer in existence. They were both problem solvers and creative in their work, making sure plumbing was in good working order and no leaks. They arrived on time and completed the work within a total of 3 days, staying late the last day to finish. They took pains in making sure floors were well protected in the working areas and cleaned up after each day. I would recommend Adame Construction to my friends and not hesitate to hire them for future projects. read more

My wife and I scheduled an estimate on our master bathroom remodel and from the second Gabriel Adame walked in , we immediately knew we were doing business his company . He helped us through the process and gave great input in helping us design our vision. The Adame Employees that worked with us were amazing in the fact that they were willing to constantly allow us to evolve and change our vision during the build process. I have to give a special mention to the "project foreman" Thomas Burns who we welcomed into our home everyday. Tom was more than just a guy who constructed our bathroom , he became a friend to us . We looked forward to Tom coming to the house each and everyday ! We also want to mention Stephanie, another Adame employee who was just amazing from personal deliveries with floor and tile samples , to us having her for breakfast with us at our table. I am a seventy year old disabled veteran. I hired Adame to remove a beam in my ceiling. During the removal they cut through an electrical cable exposing my dwelling to extreme electrical danger. The work crew did not apprise me of the neglect. When I discovered the exposed danger I requested the company return and SAFELY complete the job. The owner prior to hanging up on me said he would split the cost of the repair. Does that mean I PAY TWICE TO DO THE JOB SAFELY? Apparently Adame Construction does not stand by their work. January 7, 2019 My wife and I decided to do extensive remodeling to our home including; repainting the entire inside, removal of all carpets and tile, the installation of new laminate flooring, remodeling a bedroom into a home office and the removal of the shower and bath then redesign and remodel the bathroom including a new extended shower. I contacted 7 different remodeling contractors and had them come to my home and submit written proposals for the project and invited them to feel free to make recommendations or suggestions. All 7 responded within two weeks their proposals for our review. In the end, we chose Adame Construction and started working with Gabriel Adame immediately. The first thing he did was to make recommendations for the new bathroom which resulted in the significant savings and improve the functionality of the shower. While the pricing of the bid was very competitive, Gabriel's close attention to detail stood out. I lost my right leg 6 months ago and that played a significant role when Gabriel re-designed my original plans. This was the first of several helpful suggestions which improved the efficiency and lowering the cost of the overall project. Remodeling a home while living in it during construction, even under the best of circumstances is stressful. I must say that the entire crew was a great experience from our perspective. In addition to being very professional, they were considerate and thoughtful of our living here while they did the remodeling. During the next several weeks of completing the job, working with Gabriel, Louise and his crew was a real pleasure. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the house to make it as livable as possible. In addition to doing the job which they were contracted for, they made suggestions for improvement throughout the time they worked in our home. An example of this was they recommended they save the molding, repaint it and reinstall it. Every other contractor insisted we have the molding removed and replaced with their inferior and costly molding. I purchased a real estate agency in 1976 and owned it until 2012. We specialized in owing, managing and maintaining over 100 single family homes. This translates that I have extensive experience in working with contractors, builders remodeling professionals. Without question, the Adame Construction Company, their owner, administrative staff and field personal are the best I have had the pleasure to work with. When we first met with him we had high hopes, but it soon became obvious their field work and the office are on different pages. The quality of their work is poor, and they do not seem to take any pre-cautions to protect work they have completed. The new floor and marble countertop we had installed was severely scratched before it was even turned over and they argued we were being too picky and would not fix it. The quality and timeliness of their work was so substandard, we decided to have them only complete two of the three bathrooms and we went with another contractor for the 3rd who was much more prepared. If you have a standard bathroom with no high-end fixtures or finishes, I think they would do fine. I do not think they are used to working with anything that requires quality or higher finishes. The timing was also twice what they promised, so just be prepared to have it take longer if you go with them. When we decided to go our separate ways, it was noted in the final paperwork they would support any issues we had when completing the 3rd bathroom, as they had bought a large portion of the material. Well, we had issues and reached out to the office and the owner (Roy) who never called me back. I actually spoke to their office who assured me someone would call, but never did. We had to re-purchase some cabinets they had provided for the 3rd bathroom as it had parts missing because of damage caused by their own workers who installed the door pulls wrong and it damaged the face of the cabinets. Apparently, they never replaced the items and would not even call us back so we could find out how to get more. Very poor customer service. DO NOT USE Jerezee Construction unless you want a big headache. We have photos of their work and can provide more information if you would like. We had originally planned to not write a review but after they would not call us back for material support, we felt it was warranted to warn others about their business practices. You have been warned. Stay away! I need to update my review since another person called mine into question. The communication was poor and Roye did not check in with us during the project once. Maybe our project of $45K for 3 bathrooms was not big enough to get the support needed, but the final product and organization was very poor. Even after we parted ways, we were assured they would offer at least warranty support for the bathroom they did and on materials but we could not even get a call back. I said it before and will say it one more time. If your project is small and low quality finishes and you have no timeframe for completion, then choose them. If you want the finish product to be undamaged and finish within the original time agreed upon, choose another GC. We found another GC to complete our master bathroom and entire upstairs and it was night and day. DO NOT USE JEREZEE

He made the drive, walked through the project with me, and provided an in-person quote on the spot. We thanked him and went with a "more affordable" quote, which was a big mistake. The company we contracted with (Rod's Painting) stood us up 2 days before the project was scheduled to start and returned our deposit, making us delay the project for 3 months due to winter setting in. When the weather broke, I reached back out to Medina and upgraded the project by adding our house to the mix as well. Once again, Johnny made the drive to revisit the project and quote, adding our house into the mix. Once we had negotiated a fair price, Johnny and his crew communicated regularly, showed up on time, and knocked the project out efficiently and with excellence. Final Update: Today…read moreI started to prime to find areas where glue was not removed. There were also areas that weren't sanded before texturing. I had to water some outdoor plants to find plaster on my flag, house and brick wall. The job was rushed and it was obvious. Medina Remodel would come back and fix these areas but I chose not to take the time to have them. They returned already to fix errors. I purchased a high end primer for the glue areas, a little sanding and spray texture in a bottle to fix myself. They needed to slow down and these small details wouldn't have been missed. Update #2 review: Mishaps happen and a lot of companies I've worked with don't stand behind their work; not the case with Medina Remodel. He was quick to return my phone call and was on my door step within a few hours. Everything was fixed, cleaned and left as it should be. I'd do business with him again. Update: two outlets textured over, overspray on my bed and the texture on the windows is sliding off. Medina is coming to fix the issues. He was quick to call me back. Removed glue from wallpaper backing, skimmed, and textured two bath rooms, Put me in his schedule at the last minute and worked all weekend to complete the job. I did the painting and in hind site I should have let him manage the entire job. He communicated effectively, gave us a contract, ahis bid was competitive and cleaned up the mess and hauled off the trash.

I linked up with MVB through the Yelp project feature. I explained my situation and Jessica explained the costs and the insurance quote and the work that needed to be done. She was ready to come out and see what could be done. At the end of the day, the originally company that had given me the estimate for the claim appeared after a month of silence, so MVB did not need to take the hit for the lowball claim amount. I've been without a master bathroom for over a month at this point.... Our project manager, Max, was amazing and was really thorough at walking us through every aspect of construction since we had no idea what we were doing! He helped us design our custom door for the project so that it would work with the blueprints and was always available if there was a delay or issue with the construction process. Throughout some of the minor construction hiccups that occurred, he had great communication and was able to fix any concerns or problems that we had pretty quickly. The crew was very respectful of our home and our space, and we felt very comfortable having them come and go while we were at work to get stuff done. I was told it would be 4-6 weeks - it ended up over 5 MONTHS!! No reasons given - failed inspection twice, workers taking their own sweet time, no one showing up, and even left me with holes in the walls during winter. Knew I was going on vacation and didn't even think of filling the holes for my house sitter! Just insane. Purchased several items on the advice of the office manager that turned out not to work out or didn't have the space for - by the time we realized this it was too late to return any of them. She ordered the wrong time for the shower bench so I have a ton of extra tile plus had to order more of another tile for the bench! When I asked why the toilet had not been installed after several months, his answer was that I have another one in the house so why did I need it in the Master bath? After the thousands of dollars I gave them for both projects he gave me a whopping $1500 off for all the problems. Considering all the extra tile and items I ended up with that couldn't be used, he got a bargain. Would not negotiate at all. Considering the grief all this caused, I can't recommend them.

I came across this company as I saw they fully remodeled a home near me (that was recently sold) and their work and design looked good. So I gave them a call and Leo (estimator) was really honest and upfront about their process and more importantly gave me a good ballpark range of what I need to come in with for a full remodel. Also provided some ideas on breaking up the project in to phases (something I never thought about). I normally wouldn't write a review but given the bad experiences I've had just getting a quote from other contractors I'm thoroughly impressed with this company so far.

The common point from what I could tell were that budget, work effort, and communication fell a little short. Karin worked with me on the front end, and Haim executed in an amazing way. That was my experience in the last few months. From a satisfaction point regarding this kitchen renovation it simply could not have gone any better. I will say that the details on the front end matter. We went over several iterations in the beginning. I had narrowed down to two really great contractor options. Ultimately, I went with 702R&R due to their ability to paint with lacquer and extreme attention to detail. I just felt they would do an amazing job. We worked together to build my dream kitchen. It came out even better than I had hoped. I think it is important to review your budget early. Extreme quality costs. Think "Homes on Homes" quality and worthy of HGTV results. I don't want to over promise. It is YOUR design, so you will get what you give. Haim's expertise in managing is worth his weight in gold. Ask early if at your budget level they are interested. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. This job required an expert cabinet maker who was able to understand exactly how to build a very special cutout that could withstand a significant amount of torque generated by my force feedback joystick from Brunner-Innovation of Switzerland. Besides his superior woodworking craftsmanship which is second to none, Fred has the all-important skill of listening to the needs of his customer. He made certain that the proposed custom design that this job required was exactly as I wanted. And his prices are quite reasonable. He began by visiting my home office to understand the exact specifications of the custom desk drawer that job required. From that very beginning Fred was totally professional and kept his word about every aspect of the job. And the final product definitely exceeded my expectations. Fred's work was as good as it gets. We had a dishwasher flood and used a water remediation company that removed about half of our bottom cabinets. We got an estimate from their contractor for reconstruction, but I was never going to use them because I didn't trust them. So, I tried to go it alone - looking for a guy that did this/that and I could not get people to respond, have availability, etc. I just felt helpless and hopeless because it had already been about two weeks that we were without a working kitchen with two small children and it was stressful to say the least. So, I prayed about it, went on Yelp and reached out to the top two companies for reconstruction after water damage. Adame Construction was one of those companies. After meeting with Gabriel Adame, Chief Estimator/Construction Manager, I cancelled my appointment with the other company. He was the answer to my prayers. The very first estimate appointment I was impressed that he was honest, had a plan, and put us on the schedule the following week. There was no ambiguity about payment. And he emailed me his official estimate the same day we met - in fact just a few hours later. I felt like a valued customer right from the start - it was clear he wanted to earn my business and that just impressed me even further. He also immediately went to work, he contacted me the very next day about finding matching bottom cabinets from his supplier and found that they were in stock and it felt so good to finally have hope and to have an end date in mind. He also communicated quickly and directly with the insurance company and kept us in the loop. The most impressive thing I can say about Gabriel is his communication. He answered all my questions immediately and if not right away, told me he was working on it. And if any problems came up he informed me right away and presented me with options/solutions to decide on. I also only had to communicate with him - he took care of the rest. He explained to the workers what their assignments were, etc. Also, the workers were great. They work from 7:00am-3:00pm and they introduce themselves, explain what they're going to do and let you know when they're leaving. Gabriel and/or his brother came on site just about every day the guys were working to oversee and make sure all was well. They are very organized and scheduled and I loved that professionalism. In the past I have had bad home improvement experiences with other companies and I can honestly say that I will never call anyone else ever again if I need construction work done. I'm an Adame Construction customer for life. Do not hesitate to schedule an estimate and be sure to ask for Gabriel. I am so happy with the work they did on my kitchen. We had an incredibly wonderful experience with Adame Construction in our kitchen remodeling project. They are highly professional, responsive, organized, and do very high quality work. Luis provided the most cost-efficient estimates with the most detail by any of the bids we received. He is also extraordinarily kind, keeps in communication with his clients, and has a great deal of integrity. Adame started the project on time and stayed within budget. Tom Burns was the project manager. He is both a creative craftsman and a generous, kind, intelligent person. He has an eye for both detail and quality. Even when I thought something looked OK, Tom would refine it to make it look more perfect. He personally performed little modifications to some cabinetry to add more functionality to the kitchen and did not stop until the job was perfect. They added so many unique touches that reflect their ability to be creative, innovative, and to make something truly personal. They were also very patient as I kept changing my mind on products and appliances. Jerry, Roland, Eligio, Chuckie, Ivan, and everyone who worked in the house all were very kind, talented, and professional. Thank you also to Stephanie for help with the secret spy gift mission :). I also resonate with one of the other Yelpers who mentioned their dog liked Luis. We had the exact same experience! Our dog loves Luis and Tom and gets very excited when they come over. So the previous owners did not remodel the bathroom correctly when we bought our house. The master bathroom started leaking which we didn't know about. Eventually the water started leaking onto the down stairs ceiling. We called Mr. Gabriel Adame and he came out that same week to take a look. Long story short they ended up redoing almost my entire bathroom. Removed all the floors as there was so much mold (which I now know was probably why my asthma had gotten so bad since I started working from home). Replaced my bathtub and toilet. Removed the tile and the underneath wood that had mold and decay from my shower area. Luis and Eli were two members of the team that I spoke with most. They are incredible. So kind and kept me updated each and every step of the way. These two are an asset to this company. The only issue I ever had was a few minor scheduling issues but they got resolved immediately and Mr. Gabriel saw to it and even reached out to me personally. Final note when I came home to see the final repairs I was shocked. Not only did they do a fantastic job they also surprised me with a beautiful grey wood plank floor that I really wanted, they also repainted a few places that I had scratched the wall with furniture during our move in (it wasn't even in the bathroom). The best decision I made when remodeling my home, was to choose Adame Construction as my contractor!! Luis was my project manager, he setup appointments that worked around my schedule and was always on time. Luis is very customer focused and always reachable. He made recommendations on appliances, cabinets, fans, lighting, which made my decisions easier and not so overwhelming. As with any full house remodels, things may not go as planned, Luis was always there with recommendations and solutions, which helped to ease my concerns during this very stressful process. Scott was the lead in charge of the work effort. Scott is the most meticulous contractor lead, I have ever had the pleasure to work with, not to mention patient, as I had many questions and requests. Adame Construction was able to complete both jobs in a timely fashion and with fabulous products and service.
