This place was delicious. I had the eggs benedict and they were amazing. Great customer service. The chef even came out to make sure everyone was happy with the food. Great small restaurant and delicious food. The french toast looked amazing that the kids next to me had ordered. Must go again. Hard to find but hopefully they will add another sign to find it. The food was decent and I would've given 3 stars based on the food, but the service from who I am assuming to be the owner was awful. He spoke very condescendingly to us as we were ordering our food and we weren't asking for anything unusual. His tone of voice was very inappropriate. The waitress was amazing and very sweet and he spoke to her that way as well. I did not care for his mannerisms and they way he treated people in general. He would bark at her while she was very busy taking care of all of the customers as she was the only server. It was so bad we would have left if there were any other place around and open. Our family was ready to go to a more well known breakfast place but decided against it when it was noisy and overfull. We decided on this restaurant after that and got fast friendly service and had a quieter soothing atmosphere to eat in. The food was great and served hot. The food at this place was exceptionally good and fresh. In town from NYC and couldn't find a place open walked into this place and from the veg omelet and fresh fruit for me to the stuffed french toast for my husband and blueberry pancakes for our daughter we were all so happy to have found this gem. If I could give no stars I would... the only reason we ended up staying and ordering is because we had already bought the yelp coupon. The whole tone of the place is run down and crummy not to mention the bathroom that smells like j ashtray or the serves that have shorts crawling up their behind and tang tops hanging off their shoulders with sweat dripping of their forehead...not an exaggeration. To no avail I ordered breakfast (eggs,bacon,homefries and a chocolate chip pancake) and the boyfriend ordered lunch (bacon cheeseburger and fries) she started our order out by saying she was out of coffee and out of apple juice and needed to run to the gas station. The food itself...only good thing was the egg. Bacon was burned, homefries were dry and bland and the pancake was plain horrible. oh and did I mention the hair on the burger that was found? Half lf the place was empty when we sat down and then the cook refused our service and to take anymore orders because he claimed they were too backed up. My hubby and I had never been there and are huge local supporters of small businesses in our town, but we will never go here ever again! We have never been refused service anywhere we have ever been. Very, very disappointing. Appearance is ran down and dirty. Although the restaurant was not busy we sat for 15 minutes without a server introducing themselves, offering water or menus or apologizing for wait. Instead the staff stood by the kitchen waiting for orders that were not ready. Never the less we ended up walking out. read more

The service was awful! The waitresses walked by multiple times and did not acknowledge our table. They even took a drink order and served it to a table that arrived after us. At that point we finally asked if we could place an order, the waitress gave us attitude. She loudly put her tray down and said "well I guess I will take your order". You could tell she was annoyed that she had to take our order. Additionally, they were not even that busy. Multiple tables were open.
