Great tea! I love the location. It's cool to drink Asian tea in the tunnel! You can go here from Houston Center.

Wow Texas has pretty good Viet Bahn Mi. Found this place through YELP and was delighted. We walked from office all the way to Fannin Street then realized that this place is in the tunnels. So we ended up going into one of the business building. I ordered the grill pork bahn mi. I was delicious. Would be better if there were more sauces. I got a combo with it so it came with a drink for $7.99 (I think I saved $0.50 from getting the combo). I got the passion fruit yogurt drink. I like the drink but only issue was that its a bit too sweet. My colleague got the chicken Bahn Mi Sandwich and 2 salad rolls to go with it. his was a combo as well. It's a bit more expensive compared to mine. He also agreed that it would be better if there were more sauces. He said the salad roll was really good. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Its a wow for Bahn Mi. Also noticed that there is not a lot of veggies in their sandwich like most food you get in Texas. Seems like veggies is a high commodity

This place brings out my tranquili-tea. No, it's not a super nice boba shop with board games and sugar options. But boba in the tunnel downtown Houston - whaaat? Yes please! It's in the first city tower in the corner of Lamar and Fannin where you can take the escalator downstairs to the tunnel. I usually come for tea in the afternoon when they have $3 any boba tea with one topping. There are usually 2,3 people working but they're pretty slow. Their drinks are more on the sweeter side. But you know what, it's better than ordering from Teahouse on Favor and paying $10 for delivering + tip when you're having a boba tea craving at work. Fav: Sea salt green tea - delicious foam!

This review is specifically for the drinks, and they are a welcome addition to the tunnels! It's not a far walk from the Shops at Houston Center tunnel entrance, which is how I approach. I visit during happy hour 1-3 pm daily and get a mango slush with tapioca for a mere $3. As far as bubble tea places go, that's a real bargain! They don't have as an extensive of a flavor menu as Teahouse or a drink-focused place, but they offer the most popular options like mango, strawberry, taro, and pineapple. They also have honey boba, bursting boba, jellies and all the other add-ins. So far my favorite flavor has been the taro. The cups they serve the drinks in are wider rather than tall, and you easily get 20 ounces of drink. The service is always super friendly, and they give you a loyalty card so you'll get a free drink after buying 10. Because of the convenience and price, this is easily my favorite afternoon snack destination in downtown.

    Located in the tunnels!

If you're trying to find this place, you have to look underground. It's in the tunnels! We came here with groupons, and while the owner/workers were very friendly, the drinks were only okay. We got the sea salt jasmine milk tea and the matcha smoothie, and both tasted watered down/overly icy. Granted, we did order light sugar so that may have contributed to the flavorlessness, but I still think that the drinks could have been richer and less watery. We also tried a macaron from here, and it was too sweet for me. Even if you have a sweet tooth, I probably wouldn't recommend getting macarons from here. I would stick to the drinks since that's more of their specialty. Their cupcakes and cakes look really pretty though! All sparkly and stuff :) I think they have great potential, so I hope their drinks do get better! Next time, I'll order them with normal sugar and see how it goes.

So glad to hear that one recently opened up in Houston. Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat. This has officially won the spot for my favorite boba place.

Parking situation is subpar in their large parking lot, one of the downsides of this plaza. It's always a pain parking to visit any restaurants in between Yale and Heights. Anyways, the interior is fairly clean and modern, the menu is small and concise and the staff of two worked hard to get drinks made quickly. I enjoyed my matcha brown sugar drink (with boba and matcha pudding). The boba had really nice texture and the matcha was also fairly heavy. I got oat milk with mine, which is nice that they're not using whole milk or milk powder. Most of the drinks are in the $6-7 range, which again is fairly standard for the nicer boba spots. It's a nice boba tea option for the Heights!

I got the brown sugar boba creme burlee milk, which was pretty tasty, it comes with boba and creme brulee, which is a nice custard. Big fan of the boba, just the right level of chewiness. Bonus is the option of oat and soy milk in addition to organic milk. I can attest to them handwhisking the matcha, and they measure out the proportions to get it right each time. Definitely worth giving them a shot and supporting local, plus for the next 1-2 months they're doing 50% off (physical coupon needed for December, just pick one up!)

You'd expect the mango slush to be typical, but it has a nice underlying jasmine tea flavor with small bits of diced fresh mango, sago, and (grapefruit? bits). The texture is great and portions are large! One thing: I wish it had more of the textural mix-ins. I also tried the jasmine milk tea as a baseline. It's fragrant and yummy. However, I most likely wouldn't get it again because it's not too overly special. It's good but for $8+ I'd rather order their other menu items. Service at first was quite slow, but now it's not too bad. They only have two ordering POS (the kiosk and one person), so the line is mainly to order. I see online orders are popular too, so you could order online to skip the wait. It's a cute space with seating, wifi, and restrooms.
