Great tea! I love the location. It's cool to drink Asian tea in the tunnel! You can go here from Houston Center.

Wow Texas has pretty good Viet Bahn Mi. Found this place through YELP and was delighted. We walked from office all the way to Fannin Street then realized that this place is in the tunnels. So we ended up going into one of the business building. I ordered the grill pork bahn mi. I was delicious. Would be better if there were more sauces. I got a combo with it so it came with a drink for $7.99 (I think I saved $0.50 from getting the combo). I got the passion fruit yogurt drink. I like the drink but only issue was that its a bit too sweet. My colleague got the chicken Bahn Mi Sandwich and 2 salad rolls to go with it. his was a combo as well. It's a bit more expensive compared to mine. He also agreed that it would be better if there were more sauces. He said the salad roll was really good. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Its a wow for Bahn Mi. Also noticed that there is not a lot of veggies in their sandwich like most food you get in Texas. Seems like veggies is a high commodity

This place brings out my tranquili-tea. No, it's not a super nice boba shop with board games and sugar options. But boba in the tunnel downtown Houston - whaaat? Yes please! It's in the first city tower in the corner of Lamar and Fannin where you can take the escalator downstairs to the tunnel. I usually come for tea in the afternoon when they have $3 any boba tea with one topping. There are usually 2,3 people working but they're pretty slow. Their drinks are more on the sweeter side. But you know what, it's better than ordering from Teahouse on Favor and paying $10 for delivering + tip when you're having a boba tea craving at work. Fav: Sea salt green tea - delicious foam!

This review is specifically for the drinks, and they are a welcome addition to the tunnels! It's not a far walk from the Shops at Houston Center tunnel entrance, which is how I approach. I visit during happy hour 1-3 pm daily and get a mango slush with tapioca for a mere $3. As far as bubble tea places go, that's a real bargain! They don't have as an extensive of a flavor menu as Teahouse or a drink-focused place, but they offer the most popular options like mango, strawberry, taro, and pineapple. They also have honey boba, bursting boba, jellies and all the other add-ins. So far my favorite flavor has been the taro. The cups they serve the drinks in are wider rather than tall, and you easily get 20 ounces of drink. The service is always super friendly, and they give you a loyalty card so you'll get a free drink after buying 10. Because of the convenience and price, this is easily my favorite afternoon snack destination in downtown.

They have a great happy hour price if 3$ per drink before 3 pm on the weekdays. Definitely recommended for the boba obsessed in the downtown area. It is actually in the tunnels, fairly close to the Park Shops. Makes for an easy pit stop on your way back to they office after lunch. Downfalls are that you may have to wait as they aren't loaded up on staff. I wouldn't recommend making the stop without at least 15 minutes on your hands and more if it's during a peak time or you've got a group of people.

    Located in the tunnels!

While the osmanthus with cream remains my personal favorite, this visit I ordered the high mountain pouchong with orange and was not disappointed. It's refreshing in the Texas heat, a little tangy from the citrus and perfectly sweet (the lemon variety of it is also exceptional). Seating inside is rather limited, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, good for sitting awhile and having a chat while you drink. One of my favorite tea stops of all!

Luckily there wasn't a line. I picked up a green tea passion fruit tea and was surprised how tasty it was! The drink was a pretty yellow hue with passion fruit seeds at the top. The green tea flavor wasn't overly strong or dry wnd was very fragrant-- super tasty~ It came in a recyclable little sling carrier too, super cute :) I love how the brand focuses on real fruit, milk/cream so there aren't any artificial ingredients lurking around. You can order at the kiosk or at the cashier. For sweetness customization, they only have full level, less sweet, and no sugar options. The less sweet is already plenty sweet for me, so wish there was a slightly less sweet option than that. The service was polite and friendly, and the inside was clean with several tables. Besides the great taste, I really appreciate the "no artificial stuff" way of doing things. After one drink I'm Chicha San Chen fan! Be sure to stop by sometime and try their tea :D

Parking situation is subpar in their large parking lot, one of the downsides of this plaza. It's always a pain parking to visit any restaurants in between Yale and Heights. Anyways, the interior is fairly clean and modern, the menu is small and concise and the staff of two worked hard to get drinks made quickly. I enjoyed my matcha brown sugar drink (with boba and matcha pudding). The boba had really nice texture and the matcha was also fairly heavy. I got oat milk with mine, which is nice that they're not using whole milk or milk powder. Most of the drinks are in the $6-7 range, which again is fairly standard for the nicer boba spots. It's a nice boba tea option for the Heights!

I got the brown sugar boba creme burlee milk, which was pretty tasty, it comes with boba and creme brulee, which is a nice custard. Big fan of the boba, just the right level of chewiness. Bonus is the option of oat and soy milk in addition to organic milk. I can attest to them handwhisking the matcha, and they measure out the proportions to get it right each time. Definitely worth giving them a shot and supporting local, plus for the next 1-2 months they're doing 50% off (physical coupon needed for December, just pick one up!)

I originally came for the King Jasmine Guava (RIP to my expectations), but ended up pivoting to one of their newer drinks instead. Honestly? Not the worst compromise. My brother and I both ordered our drinks at 25% sweetness. Pistachio Cloud Jasmine Coconut - Since my first choice was sold out, I landed on this and found it... solid. The jasmine tea flavor came through strongly and tasted pleasantly aromatic, while the pistachio cream was very true to flavor and didn't feel artificial. That said, at 25% sweetness, the drink leaned a little bland for me, and mixing the cream into the tea didn't really elevate things the way I hoped. Nothing tasted bad--it pretty much tasted exactly how you'd imagine from the name, just without a particularly memorable twist that made me stop and go, "Whoa." I understand the appeal, but I wasn't blown away. Cloud Mango - My brother's pick was much more of a hit. The mango flavor tasted fresh and delicious, though this thing was COLD cold. Every sip felt like an immediate brain freeze waiting to happen. If you enjoy ultra-refreshing drinks, this would probably be right up your alley. I was also told the Cloud Crisp Grape was especially good, but naturally... sold out too. Overall, presentation was great, service was quick, and everything tasted very fresh and intentionally made. One thing I appreciated was that the drinks weren't overloaded with ice the way many boba spots can be. While I wasn't exactly amazed by the flavors, I also wasn't disappointed either--they landed comfortably in the middle. Would I say it justified the price? Maybe not, considering I've had better drinks elsewhere for less. But at the Galleria? I begrudgingly accept the tax of convenience.

However, I most likely wouldn't get it again because it's not too overly special. It's good but for $8+ I'd rather order their other menu items. Service at first was quite slow, but now it's not too bad. They only have two ordering POS (the kiosk and one person), so the line is mainly to order.
