I always find myself unicycling here after work and spending all of my money on their top knotch coffee. 10/10 environment, 10/10 staff, 10/10 jams and friendly customers. The rudest manager I have ever met. I mistakenly thought I saw someone that I knew enter the kitchen. I stepped across a line on the floor that I didn't see. To peek through the curtain separating the kitchen from the restaurant. There was also a sign board on the floor propped against the wall, not at eye level. I realize that I was not supposed to cross that line and I was in the wrong. However, the verbal assault, tongue lashing, and attitude from the young man behind at the register was uncalled for and rude. I was totally embarrassed and treated like a child. I am 76 years old and do not expect to ever be talked to in that manner. It would have been very easy to just say please do not go back there and let it go at that. I will never set foot in this shop again. And I see I am not the only one on here that has had an unpleasant and rude experience in The Haus. read more

Great atmosphere! Mike is a great barista who gave me some options to choose from when I asked him what he recommended. Very authentic people. These are the type of coffee shops that should be getting your business. Not only does their coffee taste great, the sandwiches make for great meals. On top of that they have complimentary WiFi which makes this a great place to study or do business work, or just to hang out while drinking some awesome coffee. The prices are very reasonable. Especially if you are used to Starbucks priced coffee. Better taste than Starbucks with a better price. I will definitely become a regular here. read more

I wish they would teach more coffee shop batista to make iced cappuccinos but although it came out basically a latte it was still very good. The latte was very creamy, and tasted good just wish I didn't suck it down so fast... we also got cookies, and a muffin all of which were good, and surprisingly enough they serve many things including breakfast sandwiches, beer, wine, cookies, muffins, and other things, and since it is right next to westshore pizza it is a nice living room like place to sit down and eat. Found this coffee shop by searching Yelp. This place has a really cool vibe and their coffee is from Buddy Brews in Tampa..an added bonus. There was outside seating and the menu for sandwiches and pastries looked good. I only purchased a latte to fix my mid-day coffee addiction. The cashier was informative and helpful and very pleasant, The barista was also very informative. I got a Iced coffee, which was really good because it was cold brewed unlike most other iced coffees that are brewed hot then cooled down, Also much less acidic so If you have issues with drinking coffee normally but still really like coffee they offer something that maybe a little less rough on stomach for you. I also ordered a sandwich, Bacon, provolone cheese, and Peppercorn Sauce or as they call it "Pepperhaus sauce" The sandwich was out of this world, some might even say intergalactic. Haus Coffee is my favorite coffee spot in all Pinellas/Tampa (and I go to a dang bunch of coffee shops). Tons of space and seats, with a mix of tables/comfortable chairs and sofas. The internet is reliable and fast. Plenty of outlets everywhere. Big tinted windows let in a perfect amount of natural light--not too bright, not too dark. I love working and studying here thanks to the chairs, wifi, outlets trifecta. The amount of space in this cafe means that everyone has a spot and I never feel like I'm crowded or hogging a seat. The staff is great. Personable, intelligent, and great baristas. The coffee is kick-booty; they use the coveted Buddy Brew beans from Tampa, and they sure know how to prepare it. The food is all delicious and very well-priced. I especially recommend the key lime cookie and the chili. The bagel is also great (and it comes with "fruit" that is berries and not a single bit of cheap melon--wow!). The music is always on point and never too loud (I'd love to hear some classical every once in a while, though). Something about the space absorbs sound, too, so even with a lot of chatting people the room has a warm, hushed feel. 1st time here today. The featured breakfast sandwich was roast beef, egg and cheese. Unique I never saw a breakfast sandwich with roast beef but we're game. It was excellent on a great bagel crunchy exterior, soft chewy interior. I had a cappuccino which again was excellent. Liked the small cup with grapes and blueberries that came with the sandwich as well. We have not tried the triple orange muffins yet we got those to go. Nice atmosphere, comfy and not loud like some places.
