We are totally IN LOVE with this little top secret Italian deli/market & cafe OuiOui. They do a lot of catering, make their own SAUSAGE & sauces AND bake all their own breads, hoagies, cookies, desserts etc., right here on site. We are still working our way thru the menu, but all the sandwiches & calzones we have had so far, including the mufalatta have been incredibly delicious OuiOui. We also ordered fresh loaves of breads to go. Picked them up the next morning. You have to order in advance for the fresh loaves of the top secret bread, as they run out quickly daily. When you go in the morning soon as they open at 10am, the place smells so good like fresh made bread, bc they are baking this amazing super unique top secret bread every morning. If you go soon as they open at 10am & get any of their subs, you will get them with the bread still warm from the oven. Their bread is so unique, I have never had any bread like theirs. It's super delicious, crispy on the outside almost like a rice flour crispy texture, but the inside is like a chewy Italian bread. It's Indescribable! It's so unique and so amazeballs on their SPICY ITALIAN SANDWICH OMG :)... Their Spicy Italian Sandwich also has this very yummy spicy mixture of peppers on it WOZA!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how delicious this sandwich is, as I have now had it 3 days in a row OuiOui. Every place we have ever lived there is always this one place we discover that becomes "our place" this is that place. It's that special OuiOui. They also make a sausage, a pepperoni & an eggplant calzone, with this same super top secret bread they make. We had both the sausage & the pepperoni, they were both delicious, but the winner for us was def the pepperoni WOZA! :)... We took the "grab & go" one out of the coolers, took it home, warmed it up in the oven, it was so freakin delicious OMG! The pepperoni is stuffed with quality moz cheese, the pull on that cheese was amazing! The best calzone we have ever had by a LONG SHOT :)..,, Unfreakinbelievable OuiOui. I know that the photos are not showing up on the feed as they should. My phone is under surveillance & is still being hacked constantly I'm changing my passwords several times a day so you will just have to go to my page to see my photos. I'm working on the counter surveillance measures now. In the meantime, I still have to eat daily, so I'm going to keep Yelping the yummiest foods possible, and who ever is hacking my phone daily, putting me under constant surveillance, must truly believe I'm so very close now to discovering the top secrets of the entire food world. I hope they're right. Because I know I just discovered one. And it's Colella's Italian Deli, their top secret bread & their Spicy Italian sub sandwich they make with their super unique top secret bread. One of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. Added to moi lists of Best Bakeries, Best Italian restaurants, fave restaurants in the Tampa area & in the St Petersburg area. If this place remains "Top Secret" it's totally fine by me. I've hated eggplant for as long as I can remember. I hate the texture, I hate the smell, but Cesarina's eggplant parmigiana has made me a convert! As in, I'll only eggplant if it's from them. Exhibit A: a full pan (almost the size of my stove!) of their eggplant parmigiana is $105, and serves 15-20. I portioned them out to freeze and actually got 24 servings, which comes out to a little over $4 a pop. Exhibit B: double portion bc I was hangry. Such a fantastic deal and way better than any frozen version you could find at your local grocery store! read more

We love this place. It's small and can be easily missed, but once you find it, you're in for a treat. I actually crave their sandwiches where no one else's will do. My go to is the spicy Italian, without the relish. Yum. The salads are wonderful too. Pizza is also pretty good but my favorite is the sandwiches. I admit I haven't tried the hot dishes yet, but I'd bet they're great. I think it's like eating at your Nonna's house. read more

4++ a small Italian grocer/deli that has a full service counter where you can order sandwiches, desserts, and pasta. Inside this deli, there are also some Italian staples where are you can buy make food at home like pastas, pasta, sauces, etc. etc.. Feels like a cozy small town store full of charm. The folks here we're super friendly and helpful. and I ended up ordering a chicken Parm sandwich. It was delicious and huge and the price was super reasonable. I could barely finish a little more than half of it and I was pretty hungry. I'm also not the smallest person either. I was in town for Tampa Bay beer week and was driving across town to stand in line to buy beer bottles (special releases). Everything was timed so I had to head back to Saint Pete or Seminole Heights after hitting up a place in Largo. Needed something quick, but didn't want fast food (from chains) so I found this place. I was glad that I did! Definitely would recommend for takeout, or to buy some items to cook your own food at home. 3 years ago I wrote a review on Google (see below) about this place and I had given it 5 stars. Today I walked in and wanted the antipasto salad. First the man working there told me it was to the left of the register in the fridge (looking at the register). None there. Then he said it was to the right in the case. It was there and the lady there grabbed it. I asked if it still had the marinated mushrooms and she said no "not for a long time now." I changed my mind and said I would get a sub. When I said that the man working there said "It's the same exact salad." Um, no it's not! I know what I used to order, eat, and the lady even said it used to have it. There definitely used to be mushrooms in the antipasto salad. The man rubbed me the wrong way with a smug attitude from the beginning and when he said that it was the exact salad, I had it. I just walked out. And guess what? I will never walk back in. Sad the original owners left. 3 years ago: I've been coming here for years and their food, service and well stocked items are always top notch. Some of my favorite items are the pickled mushrooms, antipasto salad, and roasted red pepper & mozzarella sub. Fresh ingredients all the time. I am so happy they're close to my home! In Largo visiting a couple from our old church in nursing home past lunch and checking around saw this place with 5 stars so had to try it. Wow! This Mom & Pop grocery / deli reminded us so much of a similar store near out first townhome in Baltimore. And very busy even at 2:00 PM. Four people in line for carry out when we came in, seven others after us. We actually wanted to eat in and sure enough to one side of the shop were four small tables. So much to choose! Rough trying to stay on WW points. Subs, plates, salads, yum! And a meat display counter with some huge, scrumptious looking meatballs. And a (oh no!) huge dessert display counter. We overheard someone order a slice of lasagna and how good it was. That sounded manageable with a split salad between us. We were told to have a seat and they would bring a salad while they heated our lasagnas. Now normally that would mean warmed in a microwave. Nope! Heated on a real plate, in an oven slowly, with extra cheese and sauce. The "slice" was huge, bigger than the Olive Garden dinner! It was delightful. Creamy, rich, spiced perfectly. And served with warm, homemade bread. YUM! Of course we had to bring half home. And while we were eating a gentleman came in wearing a black pantsuit with gold necklace, gold tipped shoes, gold watch and what looked like ammo magazines in a bandolier across his chest. My wife, forever the extrovert, asked what they were. Harmonicas! He said he performed for local nursing homes. She (oh my!) asked him to play a tune. He did! A new song he had written and was about to record. We thanked him, and passed a $10 tip for the entertainment. After perusing the (big DROOL here) dessert showcase, I managed to convince my wife we should pass on it after half the Lasagna. Very friendly couple, great service, absolutely wonderful homemade food, definitely a place to check out. We will definitely be back. Can't wait to try the Eggplant Parmesan. read more

When in the Clearwater area hub likes to go here & pick up a large Muffaletta sandwich to take back home. It is the closest to the ones in New Orleans, the bread makes the sandwich. We've also had their homemade cookies here which are amazing. I'm sure everything else here is great just haven't tried anything but the Muffaletta. read more

This is a great family run Italian deli that has been here for years. The owners had sold it several years ago to a man who really let the business go downhill. It was so bad that the original owners took it back over and now everything is the way it should be. This is a great place for Italian sandwiches, hoagies, grinders or what ever you want to call them. They are outstanding! Cesarina, she and her husband own the business, she is the star of the show, she makes ALL of the bread that they use in house! She is a wonderful hard working woman, and it shows in her cooking. You can get so much more than sandwiches too. Deli meats, olives, stuffed red peppers, roasted red peppers. They also have prepared veal cutlets, chicken cutlets, meatballs, sausages, to name a few. They have lots of pasta and Italian canned goods from Italy. When in Largo stop in, you won't be disappointed! read more

First of all the service was great! The prices were very inexpensive. Had two types of pasta (macaroni salad and tortellini), not bad but not great in my opinion. Also purchased the muffuletta spicy. I was visiting my Brother who lives in Largo and asked him if he knew a good Italian deli. He told me about Cesarina's and we tried it today. Located on East Bay between Belcher and Starkey, what I found was a real gem. I had the spicy Italian sub and my wife had the Greek salad. The sub bread was as good as any I've had. The meats were excellent and the cappicola was spicy and very tasty. The Greek salad was also very good and both my Wife and I agreed we would need to try their other menu items next time. I went for one spicy italian and a mozarella with tomato sandwich to take home and share with my in laws. The portions were plenty to share and we had leftovers to save for my husband. Fresh ingredients and the showstopper was the bread... I actually couldn't pick a favorite between the two. Loved the italian with the spread of peppers and was also was a fan of the simple mozz and tomatoes. It wasn't busy as I stopped in during lunch hour ~ 12:30. There were two customers ahead of me, and I was in and out within 15 minutes. So glad I stopped by this establishment. Already looking forward to try another sandwich... This is my updated review from my first one a couple years ago (also a 5-star review): if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I asked for two specific things when I ordered from them today: no onions and please toast my sandwich. I didn't expect that to happen because seldom do businesses actually listen to these requests. Guess what? They did it perfectly. My sandwich was toasted and they didn't add onions. If this is where your expectations are too, then this is the place to spend your money. Oh, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pizza is my fav pizza crust consistency. It borders on the thick side, but rich in flavor. Their bread is sooooooo good! 10 out of 5 stars! read more
