I originally wanted to try out a class at this location today and so I signed up for it last week with no problem. Later that day I get an email from a staff member asking me follow up questions and asking to set up a phone call or else my class would not be confirmed (even though I had already received a confirmation email). I thought this seemed unnecessary since they already ask you to come in 30 min prior to your class to fill out intake forms (which will probably ask the same questions she planned to ask over email/phone). Nevertheless, I answered the email questions and one of them was "why did you choose this location?" I explained that it is a convenient location to stop at on my way home from work. A few days prior to the class I get a text from that same staff member asking if I would like to sign up for a free introductory class, which as I mentioned, I already had! I ignore the text. Yesterday (the day before my class) I get a text to confirm that if I will be attending the class to which I reply, yes. TODAY, on my day off and the day I planned to go to my class which was scheduled at 11:30 am, I get woken up to a text before 7:00 am from the same staff member stating that introductory free classes are only allowed to be given to local residents and that I can only attend if I pay the $28. It's quite frustrating and shocking that after all those emails and texts prior to the day of my class they did not check my address to see it did not fall within the location boundaries and instead decide to tell me this the DAY OF my class. Long story short, if you are able to attend another location, please do so as it is apparent the staff is lacking experience in their customer service skills!

Looked great for my cruise in August. The trainer, Cher, is the best! She's very personable and works you out based on your capabilities. You will DEFINITELY see results! She gives you a nutrition plan on what to eat as well which helped me cut down my weight. There is also a workout plan that is given when you are not physically working out with the trainer so you can maintain your health. The workout area is very clean and the equipment is sturdy for the workouts performed. There is always a different workout to do as you come in. You will never get bored due to a different workout routine. All areas of the body WILL be worked. Overall, if you want a great workout with a great trainer AND see results, you will not lose joining 3f-fitness!!

Ever since then I have remain a committed member of OneLife at Pike & Rose for a number of reasons: 1. Pike & Rose staff and trainers are awesome! Everyone is willing to help and answer your questions. If you frequent the gym consistently, say 2 or 3 times a week as do I, gym staff and workout buddies will become a positive influence in your life. This helps you want to return to the gym on a regular consistent basis. 2. The outdoor astroturf workout space as well as the natural light throughout the East and South-facing gym always supply good visual energy. I have yet to find a gym with the high quality of natural light Pike & Rose supplies to members. 3. Local manager Skyler and Fitness Director Carolyn listen to members questions and/or concerns. The over all quality of the gym, the efficiency of equipment, the way in which members approach and use the gym are all on Skyler and Carolyn's radar. They may not be able to remedy a situation at any given moment for a number of valid reasons yet they will make a note. And they are always looking for ways to improve our experience at OneLife. Things do change for the better; new equipment arrives and class schedules are adjusted to help members. 4. The personal trainers are awesome! Every single one of them is kind, polite, friendly and approachable. You can always ask them a question or two and if they can't help you, they will direct you to someone who can. Over the years I have worked out with a number of personal trainers and I can guarantee you this: you fitness achievements will increase so long as you stick to it. What ever you are facing as far a personal limitations and/or goals go, your personal trainer will work with you to help you achieve your fitness goals while remaining mindful of any physical constraints that may need extra attention. Over time, the returns on your investment working out with a personal trainer will manifest themselves in a positive way (body, mind & spirit). 5. Lastly, the cleanliness of the gym and locker rooms remains attended to throughout the day. Cleaning staff are great, I enjoy seeing them as well when I work out at Pike & Rose. This gym is nicely constructed and renovated (from a different gym), and offers 2.5hrs of validated garage parking. No pool, but there are so many fantastic amenities and new equipment available, you won't mind. You'll get a warmup in trekking those 3 levels via stairs, but an elevator is readily available for accommodating all accessibility levels. Also, being located in the convenient area of Pike & Rose, there are plenty options to run errands, or grab food. I Highly recommend!

He comes to you and works with whatever equipment you have to get a fantastic workout in. Every workout is fresh, fun, challenging, and leaves you just the right amount of sore. He adapts them based on your goals. He is flexible and works with your schedule which is key because I am a busy doctor with a new baby. He also offers virtual appointments if you are truly in a time crunch. His prices are extremely reasonable for the level of expertise he has.
