Louise is a very anxious senior dog, and he genuinely understands her needs. He goes out of his way to make her visits as low-stress as possible and knows exactly how to handle her. That level of care means everything to us. He's also been proactive and thoughtful in Louise's care by helping refer us to a specialist when she needed a procedure and even checking in on her afterward, which we deeply appreciated. On top of that, he's been very accommodating of the fact that we live on an island, making scheduling and logistics much easier for us. The entire staff is just as wonderful. They are kind, patient, organized, and incredibly communicative. They weren't in your face about insensitive subjects like billing etc. They understood the grief we were facing and acted accordingly. Dr. Teberg was very thorough and helped us in the most difficult time. She was sweet and gentle with our baby girl. The office was clean and well maintained. I wish we had found them sooner to take care of all our pet needs. I would recommend this vet to anyone who asked.

I take my cats there every year for checkups and usually a teeth cleaning. One cat had developed crystals and I had to take him in to have his bladder evacuated a few times, she was careful, and after a few visits a, change of diet and I think some meds, I don't remember, he survived. I still go there and until I actually see a problem, will continue to. I'd also like to mention I have always received an estimate before anything was done that I had to sign off on.

What really bothered me was that the front office staff would not let me talk to the vet or vet tech, would not let me make an emergency appointment so the vet could get eyes on him - nothing. I had to make an appointment that was weeks out/their next available. The front office staff continually talked down to me and stated my dog was fine and to stop calling. Thankfully my husband decided we had enough of their behavior and lack of care, we took him to VEG ER in federal way where we had a fantastic experience with vets that cared for his well being and his after treatment/follow ups. They were incredible. You don't have surgery and then get NO after care or ability to come in, such as what happened at Marine View Vet. The rudest from office staff I have ever talked to in any facility animal or human. I do not recommend this facility or their staff.

Rosie was referred from Arrow Animal Urgent Care with a dx of vomiting & Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome and the Vet at Arrow stated that Rosie would need a level of care which OGVCC would provide as a 24-hour Emergency Vet Critical Care Hospital. OGVCC was anticipating our arrival and took Rosie back within 5 minutes. After the Vet had a chance to assess Rosie, he met with me and explained diagnosis, treatment plan and potential time frame Rosie may need to be hospitalized in order to recover. A big shout out of THANKS to Lexi & Rebecca who communicated daily, with Rosie updates, kept me informed of treatment/hospitalization charges, updated payments and coordinated with me, so I could do daily visits with Rosie. I'm so grateful to the holistic approach OGVCC provided Rosie during her 6-day hospitalization and happy to report she has been home for a week, is symptom free, eating well and being her goofy labrador self.

What is offered and the price will vary based on which staff person you are talking to. Anticipate being charged more than quoted. If someone doesn't show up for work, everyone is going to hear about it - sounds like a pretty toxic working environment and that the staff does not get along. Our vet recommended Vet in Motion because our kitty was so terrified of leaving the house, we wanted to make things as stress-free as possible for her. Dr. Preston arrived on time, but right off the bat, she said she was going to give our kitty a bunch of pills to sedate her. When I told her our girl had trouble with pills, that she chokes easily, she brushed me off and told me she'd been doing this for (however many) years, and that her way was the best way. Watching her ram like 8 pills down our poor girl's throat, having to re-pill on many of them because she gagged them back up, was horrific. Then it took forever for the pills to take effect at all, in which time our poor kitty was stressed and started having trouble breathing- panting for air. I had to hold her oxygen in front of her nose and mouth so she could breathe. Dr. Preston seemed completely unconcerned. She dragged the process out even further by giving another injection and waiting for it to sedate our poor girl even more. By the time she finally deigned to give the life-ending injections, poor kitty was already half dead. I was barely hanging on keeping from going completely hysterical, and even my husband was in tears. She then told us to bring the body out to the truck when we were ready, and walked out. I have had pets all my life, and I have never been through a more traumatic euthanization. I would never recommend this vet to anyone for any reason. It's been over a month and I can't think about that day without bursting into tears. Oh, and after a week had passed, I noticed a blue spot on our sofa where she had been working. It was one of those damned pills that she had forced on our kitty. Glad the other cats didn't find it first. One of them will eat any little thing like that.

They have had a long time issue with staffing. Most of the reviews here dealt with the earlier clinic which did not require appointments and served on a first come, triage basis. You could wait hours just to be seen. Getting return phone calls a few years ago was a prayer event. I am now vetless for my multiple pets. I am not going to a tiny clinic across the street. The closest other vet is extremely expensive and not very close at all. I can only hope that another vet clinic opens in its place...
