Dainty little chocolate shop in Lake Placid. I was looking for some white chocolate to make s'mores. Service was decent. Ambiance was typical for a candy shop. Lots to select from.

Various delicious chocolates and popcorn from another shop!

There are so many delicious treats to choose from! I decided to get various different items and make a "charcuterie" plate out of it for guests we were having over. It went great with the caramel popcorn we got from the popcorn store too. Can't wait to try more!

Cute little shop and something you would expect in a tourist spot like Lake Placid. It is Expensive but I guess its because they are homemade. We ordered everything from chocolate pretzels to chocolate graham crackers. Apparently ivory means white chocolate here. They also have these big peanut butter cups which I had to order. The people were very nice as well. 4 stars all the way!

Milk Chocolate & Dark Chocolate covered Oreos!

Delicious chocolates and friendly & fast service. I guess they need to be fast as this place is always busy and the line grows quick. Highly recommend to get your chocolate fix. The chocolate covered Oreos are my fave.

Small shop , very cozy has a nice feel, I can't wait to taste the chocolate, the prices were good too, and it looked cute and festive during Christmas time. They also have cards, souvenirs and candles.

    The best chocolate!

Have you heard of the little engine that could? This is the tiny but mighty bakery. I've been…read morevisiting Lake Placid for years, but only discovered this bakery this year, mostly by following its patrons who were perambulating around the Main Street with what looked like amazing little scones. Speaking of said scones, they're fantastic. If you're expecting biscuit-line scones, these might be a bit of a disappointment. These are on the bread-ier side of the pastry spectrum, but no less satisfying. We tried the blueberry almond scone and the raspberry white chocolate, and both were scarfed down within minutes. I also love that these aren't sickly sweet. Paired with a latte (for which I highly, highly recommend getting a pump of the hazelnut syrup), Bluesberry Bakery was responsible for supplying some of the best breakfasts we had during our stay in Lake Placid. City folks ought to temper their expectations. This is a small town bakery on a quaint main street, and inside, space is tight. There isn't any seating space, and if two or more groups of customers come in simultaneously, the rest of the queue has to wait outside the door. But things behind the counter are manned by a small, dedicated crew of folks who keep things moving. As with any bakery that makes things fresh, come as soon as the urges hit; when they're out, they're out. I learned this the hard way when I came late afternoon for a scone and found they were sold out.

I have a bit of a story about Generations. Seven years ago,…read moremy family stopped in while visiting Lake Placid and, unfortunately, it was a pretty rough experience. After waiting over an hour for our food with no updates in sight, we finally left hungry and declared we'd never return. (We've all made dramatic vacation proclamations before!) When we got home, I wrote to the restaurant, and Natasha, the manager, personally responded with a sincere apology. She explained they had been incredibly short-staffed and invited us to come back if we were ever in Lake Placid again, promising a better experience. Well, seven years later, my sons found themselves in Lake Placid with friends and decided to give Generations another chance. They asked if Natasha was still there, and amazingly, she was! Not only that, but she remembered my email from all those years ago. This time, everything was wonderful. Great food, attentive service, a relaxing outdoor table, and happy young men!--which is review enough! To top it all off, when they asked for the check, they were told the meal was on the house. Natasha's kindness, grace, and commitment to making things right left a lasting impression. Thank you for turning a not-so-great memory into a great one. Cheers to Natasha and the team at Generations!

Serval more opened within those 25 minutes and sat empty. . My daughter had the chicken sandwhich she said it was good. Mojito mocktail & my ST Germain spritz were very good. I ordered the lobster tacos, I was asked fries or chips I said fries no salt he said they come into the restaurant seasoned. I said chips then he said they also seasoned I can substitute salad. Was surprised when the salad came out and it was in its own dish not on the side of the plate. There was a charge of $3 dollars for the salad on the bill I questioned the server and he said there is a fee for substitutions it is stated in the menu. My menu was closed when I placed the order. I didn't ask he told me he can substitute. When he told me he can substitute he should have mentioned that there was a fee.
