It was a full house when we arrived. As others have said, this club is smaller than what you would normally expect. We ended up sitting at a table in the bar area. Eventually a window seat with comfy chairs became available. The best thing I can say is that the service was friendly. It's much quieter than being in the terminal. There's a nice view of planes on the taxiway. There is a bar with a bartender. She was great in getting our soft drinks out quickly. The food offerings are limited, but good. We had a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. The sausages were good. I didn't try the scrambled eggs. The breakfast buffet turned over to lunch while we were there. There was a nice assortment of charcuterie items as well as desserts. I nibbled on a few macarons and lemon tart squares. They had other hot lunch items, but I was already full after consuming the breakfast offerings. The club is small, but mighty in the quality of it's limited offerings. The restrooms are clean. I don't really have much else to say. We'll definitely return. It's a nice perk for complimentary usage. read more

Great ambiance - probably the quietest airport lounge I've ever been to (6 a.m. on a Saturday). Fantastically courteous front desk staff. It's somewhat small, and food offerings are lacking (just scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, and some bagels/toast), but it was great to relax here before our flight. Coffee / espresso machine w/ lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, etc. Bar to the right, but too early to drink so didn't check it out. Very comfortable, cushioned seating. Great long view of the runway. About as good as it gets at TPA. Worth it to escape the mele around the gates. read more

Above average Admirals Club. The atmosphere was very upscale. The staff very friendly and helpful. The space had lots of rooms and lots of different types of rooms. Private work stalls in multiple areas, a giant screen TV room, a full bar area, and plenty of seats on front of huge window walls. I've been to this admirals Club several times. Ride the elevator up and the entrance is right out the door. The employees are cheerful and check in is quick, especially if you ate a club member. If you fly and visit enough they'll even remember your face and name. Walking in, the lounge is long, and wife enough to comfortably seat families or traveling companions together easily. The seats are generally co.fortable with charging stations at most. They keep the area clean and when people are done eating or drinking, someone is always walking through and picking stuff up. There is a bar that you can get sofa, water, beer, wine, and spirits from. And most of the off the shelf stuff is free for paying g or club members. They also have an assortment of snacks and light foods like soup depending on the time of day that is also free. I usually will grab some food and then an appe, orange, or banana to go just to have with me. Most importantly, yhere are bathrooms available, which are much cleaner than the regular terminal bathrooms. So far, I can't complain about the Admirals Club. Well worth having an American Airlines credit card, which has this perk included. If you travel a lot and leverage points accruals, ypu can definitely cash in on flights and upgrades. I personally like this particular Admirals Club location and will always stop by when flights are scheduled here. read more

WIFI PASSCODE for 2022: AAVacations Hours are 4:00am to 8:15PM daily. Ignore what the American Airlines app says (it says 5:00am). My picture of the hours shows they open up at 4am which is great for those early morning flights. Located in Concourse F near gate 85, this lounge is on the smaller side, but very luxurious. Plenty of comfy chairs cover the lounge with huge floor to ceiling windows of planes taking off and landing. The food is standard to all other locations. Breakfast options are pictured below. They don't have an avocado toast bar in the mornings unfortunately. Printers are available for use, and there are even isolated desks to work. The bar is stocked as always with usual complimentary drinks as well as ones you can purchase. Overall a really solid lounge with good amenities and great views. read more

I appreciate that you can get well cocktails for free and the staff is always courteous. Rewards programs do matter and when rewards programs deliver the experience? Sodas, require you to go to the bar. Everyone is friendly and nice. Only sourpuss I saw was the guy standing or pushing items into the kitchen, if you want a breakfast burrito it's 10 bucks, a fair price, and it was good. They will remove items, and they bring it to your seats. No USB-C connections. The seats, the Greg ones are comfortable, the tan ones are not. Men's bathroom very clean, air fresheners. Available to us as a AA cardholder and love to be able to come here rather than sitting in the common area of the airport. Comfy seating and good and drinks available. We arrived during breakfast hours so they had bagels, muffins, oatmeal and build your own scrambled eggs. Coffee and tea as well as lemon water. They keep the seating abs tables clear and clean. After guests leave the staff comes around to wipe down the area. Restrooms are also kept very clean abs love that they have Biggelow soaps and lotions available. Feminine hygiene products are also available in the basket should you need them. Staff is always super friendly. Very nice place to relax and watch the planes. read more

Got off the flight and headed straight to the Admiral's Club. Only about 3 gates down. Very convenient. Once there we were greeted by 2 exceptional premium/concierge personnel, Grace and Sandy. They made check in a breeze as well as offered countless of travel options to the one we had chosen. Their attitude, kind words, motivation and knowledge on flight options was above and beyond any service I have received in many of the Admiral's Club. They took their job to the next level. I was very pleased to see how wonderful these 2 ladies made me and other passengers feel as we walked in. Made the wait plausible. Once inside there are clean bathrooms, limited snacks and different drink options. The attendants make sure it is tidy and replenished! The lounge is full of comfortable chairs and charging stations as well as free wi-fi. Great place to get away from the crowds. read more

My only complaint about this location is that it is SO small! While the seats are comfy, the wine is good, and there are snacks, you might not be able to find a seat. Luckily, I got there early before the lunch rush. The plus side is that the employees constantly check on you and the service is really fast! First time in this AA lounge and it was just like the way I rated it, it was A-OK. Dropped in early Thursday afternoon and I literally found the last club chair available as the facility was very crowded. There are plenty of charging outlets, seats to sit in and limited snacks. On the day I dropped in, all that was being offered in terms of snacks was a small cheese assortment, quinoa salad and the usual nuts selection. Since I was in-between meals, the only thing I wanted was a hot chocolate and that's what I got from their standard coffee set up. The facility has a great view of the runway, is clean and nice to hang out at for an hour or two but since the Tampa airport has decent food offerings, I much rather hang in the terminal. read more

I like almost all of these sky clubs. When at the airport, these are the best places to sit in a comfy chair, charge your phone, and get some tasty snacks. My travel buddy and I went here to kill some time awaiting on our flight, and we flashed our boarding passes and a credit card and in we went. We found a nice quiet place to sit and talk, leave our back packs, and charge our phones. I then, like always went to explore everywhere in the lounge, as I like to know where the restrooms are, private sitting rooms, work desks, drink bar, and last but not least, the snack and food bar or bars, as some have more than 1 food bar, so a lil walking might find you some nice things you didn't even know where there, ha. The check in staff were polite and friendly to us, got us in quickly and easily. The place was clean and laid out well inside, and all was as expected. There are TV screens with the flights on them to keep an eye on your flight if you don't use an app on your phone. The restroom was clean and not crowded at all like they are out in the general public areas of the airport. read more

Off on another road trip, and this time my client elected to purchase the tickets on American Airlines, rather than my beloved Delta. As a result, our group met up at the airport inside the Admiral's Club in Airside F while waiting for our flight. As a life-long Delta fan, I noticed the differences between the two airport lounges right away. The front desk staff inside the club was polite, but not as genuinely welcoming as I'm used to experiencing. There were plenty of places to sit in a comfy chair and re-charge my electronic devices, but was disappointed to see that the leather chairs were scuffed, and that the veneer surface on some of the side tables were chipped and worn. (Apparently they are replacing the furniture in this Club according to the signage, so this issue may be resolved by the next time that you're there.) There was coffee, hot water for tea, and juice sitting out, but no real bar service that I could see. Finally, the typical breakfast selections and heavy hors d'ouevres snacks which I'm used to seeing in the Delta Sky Clubs was stripped down to not much more than you get in the economy section of American's flights. It was definitely nicer than sitting out in the general terminal, but in the future I would much prefer to spend my time in the Delta Sky Club. read more

I had about 3 hours to kill before flying back home. I didn't realize there was a club in TPA but I'm glad it was there. The gates were starting to fill up and it was going to be an uncomfortable wait. Went upstairs to the club and was greeted with a friendly worker behind the desk. Her smile was radiant and welcoming. Checked me and my + 1 in and off we went. The club is smaller than most, but had a great view of the runway and US Airways gates so we can see when the planes came in and out. Let me stress that the view was excellent. Everything else was similar to other clubs....free WIFI, free drinks, snacks all culminating into a great experience. I'm not sure if they have complimentary liquor here, but in the Admirals Club, there is usually well alcohol that is included. I ordered a bloody mary thinking it'd be the same here, but was charged $7. No big deal, but usually in the AA clubs they let you know when you're ordering something not on the free list. Decent, albeit boring breakfast snacks, and no menu to order off of. Overall it's a nice environment, but isn't quite on par with Admirals clubs. read more

Standard Admiral's club. Because of the smaller terminal, seating has never been an issue and it does have a good view of the runway. In general Admiral's Clubs have limited complimentary food and drink options. One ok soup, pita chips, three cheeses, carrots, tomatoes and some sweets. Coffee is ok. I would like to see AA step up the food and beverage options in the lounges. The real downside to this lounge is that it closes at 7pm. There are a few later AA flights and they do not stay open if a flight is delayed. I would have liked the lounge to stay open later when my 7:15pm flight was delayed almost 2 1/2 hours. read more

The club is clean. Bartender is nice. The snacks are OK. But the most essential function lies with their front desk staff, and they managed to have my bag lost while "helping" me with rearranging my flights due to weather issues. DONT TRUST that the front desk staff of this club will handle your reservation adequately. If you are going to rearrange your flights, YOU MUST DOUBLE +TRIPLE check whatever they do. I changed flights, and never boarded the plane of my original flight. But while waiting at the Admirals Club, the front desk staff didn't do their job right, and my bag actually got loaded on the flight that I had cancelled 3 hours before, and got flown away... If that happens to you, you're in for a good 48 hours of waiting and dealing with a disfunctional baggage claim system. And $60 of Admirals Club cannot do anything about it. read more

This is a very quiet airport lounge to escape from the teeming masses below, but its a small space and the complimentary beers are limited to Bud and Bud Light. I wouldn't pay for admission but if you have an Amex Platinum card then it beats sitting below-deck. Another nice feature is that the club looks out to the tarmac and runways so the views can be pretty spectacular. Solid 3/5 star experience. read more

This is your standard admirals club. It is right next to security and is nice and centrally located in the terminal. As far as offerings, they had the standard Admiral's Club offerings. Incredibly RUDE customer service, especially from one lady employee who thinks she can rewrite the law on service animals. A service animal on it's leash with their owner is apparently not allowed in this Tampa lounge, as told to me by the lady with severe attitude. This is in contradiction to their own policy posted on the Admirals Club website that says "service dogs are permitted in the lounge at any time." It is also against the LAW to deny a service animal. The lounge is pretty run down anyways (chipped and dirty furniture). Don't think I'll be back any time soon. read more
