I'm spoiled by having access to centurion lounges as well as the newer delta lounges. This just doesn't compare unfortunately. It's nice enough to get a pitstop while at the airport, but it has a utilitarian feel to it and lacks much of the glamour or elegance of other lounges. I oddly found it to be rather dull and grey. The people working there are friendly and the food options were okay. I would personally not pay to use this lounge but I have access to it so I use it for ghat reason. read more

We always head to the airport early just to get some extra time there to relax in a quiet environment and visit with the staff and servers. This one had two stall options: suspiciously wet floor, or toilet paper everywhere. Staff at the bar was friendly. Would've been nice to have a self-check-in option, though. The Delta Sky Lounge at TPA is immediately after passing through security. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of comfortable seating areas in a chill and relaxing environment. While in the club, they provide complimentary food (think soup, salad, heavy hors d'œuvres, and snacks), and well drinks (there's an up charge for premium cocktails). Dont forget to tip! I'm a fan of a pretty much any Delta Sky Club, lets be real. This Sky Club was nice, but I have been to nicer in terms of treats and snacks. In terms of service and cleanliness, it could not have been better. The staff was friendly and always cleaning up after messy passengers. I was TPA during an early flight so the food was more on the breakfast side, which had eggs, oatmeal, sausage, some fruit and I believe some cereal. It definitely had enough, I'm just being greedy based on other lounges I've been to. Plus they had their complimentary beverages and their cash bar as well. Plenty of seating. I had so much room to spread out and be relaxed. It's the best part of being at the airport early in my opinion. It almost makes traveling fun if I dare say it. In the "lounge desert" that is TPA airport, travelers don't have many options. On airside E, all you can find is this Delta SkyClub. Beautiful panoramic windows with views before and past security. Well-cushioned, comfortable seats, even by the small dining tables. The lounge is quite small, but there's a bit of spacing between seats. Breakfast spread included tiny folded plain omelettes with melted cheese, warm sausage links; cold mini salad area with what resembled tabouleh and a few fruits; about 3 different types of cereals and a granola; cold pastries (bagels, danishes, and very stale mini croissants unfortunately) and a toaster for them. There's also a bar (no alcoholic beverages served before 7 am, daily); a latte/espresso machine, and drip Starbucks coffee (including a decaf option). Drinking station included herb-infused cold water, iced tea, and lemonade. Good, friendly service by staff. Not the best lounge lounge I've ever visited, but a cozy, quiet place to wait for your flight and take a coffee break. Just wish we had more space and not stale croissants :) read more

First time ever in delta sky club! There are many ways to get in here but if you are not a frequent flier of delta of have the delta credit card it will be more difficult. I suggest getting the Amex platinum card as it grants access to delta sky club if you are flying delta. If you like more information about this, please message me and I'm happy to go into details. So the sky club is located by gate 68 and you have to take the elevator to the second floor or you can take stairs. As soon as you get off there is a welcome desk where you need to scan your boarding ticket and proof of entry whether it be a delta medallion member or if you have a credit card that allows entry. Once you are pass this you will be able to walk into the main Lounge where it is not packed at all, very quiet and good place to work or relax. There is a buffet bar and since it was breakfast it was loaded with pastries and your typical continental breakfast. Across the buffet was a bar where they have a list of complimentary beverages and for purchases cocktails. One window view opens up to the gates and the other side opens up to the security line The service was fantastic and I really enjoyed my time here. The only negative would be food but I'm not complaining too much. read more

Fun sky club with an outdoor patio! For a Sunday it was quite quiet. They served Tex mex with the usual dessert and fruit fixings. Nothing extraordinary but well maintained. I usually love Delta Sky Club lounges, but this was one of the worst. Usually the ambiance ( music, etc) is calming, but this had more of the feel of a noisy crowded cafeteria. Some of the food containers were empty ( no buttermilk pancakes, no butter) and remained so during my hour there, despite my alerting the staff (One of which just continued to stand around and chat with a co- worker). If you are flying Delta and a have a few hours to kill I would highly suggest you partake in their Sky Club. It's so choice, and the only way to fly! Using my Amex Platinum card and Priority Pass membership I have access to most all airport sky clubs. Delta Sky lounges are one of the best as they are large, maintained well, and offer plenty of seating with chairs, tables, and couches. Clean bathrooms on site, and a business area to connect and get some work done if needed. Pretty nice staff too. Nifty spread of free eats and drinks. Water, coffee, soda, booze, beer, cocktails. Oh My! Our last trip we had a two hour wait until our fight home, and the Sky Club here made it very enjoyable. Living the life of luxury! Yup, avoid the swarmy masses waiting at the gate, along with those annoying bratty screaming kids that are usually there to rattle your nerves. John had one thing on the brain for this trip- go to the Delta Sky Club and see what the fuss is about. Dad always brags. Well- we finally upgraded our travel and enjoyed open bar and plenty of nibbles before our cross country flight. We even exited the Sky Club, which was right across from our gate, right as our seats were boarding! Nice right! This sky club is upstairs, giving you a view of the TSA checkpoint and the trams leading to the terminal. The bar is small- but they get the job done. Basic Sky Club. Nice, but no bells and whistles. Clean and plenty of seating with outlets at 7:30 am. Unfortunately, window views are just of the terminal below and not the airplanes, but so it goes. Oh, and the wifi password just changed (for Oct 2018) from happy to reserve, fyi. Breakfast bar was well stocked, but relatively small with limited options in the old style - oatmeal, muffins, bagels, English muffins, cereal, yogurt. Basically just a full spread of carbs. Check the mini-coolers below for butter, cream cheese, and Chobani. Across is coffee and a cappuccino/latte machine. Question. What does Delta spray in the air to always make these clubs smell like bad men's cologne? Or are there just so many men with awful cologne coming in and out of here that it constantly permeates the air? Either way, it was particularly strong this morning and I can't stand that smell. We have been to several delta lounges across the USA and have been blessed to also visit in their hubs for a more "grande " experience. I am Happy that they offer a club at this airport. The layout is very weird, take the elevator up. Front desk check in and then you can go either right or left only one side has the food and it's also where the bar is located. The other side of the club has lots of space, business center and is where the restrooms are located. It's kinda hidden which I thought was odd. They had your normal continental breakfast options: milky oatmeal, yogurt, and bagels. Where's the fresh fruit?? And for lunch they had 2 choices of soup, vegetables, hummus and some mayo chicken salad. So it's your standard food options, nothing elaborate or fresh here. However the sky lounge is always a good option if you want to drink and relax. read more

I have been a Sky member for years prior to becoming an AMEX Platinum member. As an AMEX member, I can enter at no cost to me, but would have to pay for guests that are not members. This Club is very spacious and has snacks and light breakfast bites for the time that I have entered. They also have a full bar, but charge for top shelf spirits. When I travel, it is a luxury convenience to be able to relax and enjoy the comforts of the Delta Sky Club. I am fortunate for to have that option. read more

My yelp friend Steve E. mentioned in his review that this Delta Sky Club used to call "Crown Rooms". The name makes sense because the club locates above security check point. From its large window, you have the full view of the crowds beneath lining up to get through check point. "I am the King of the world" fits the scene. Most time I check in at 5 am to catch my flight to Asia. The club is usually quieter during morning hours because most of guests are business people and they don't chat much. The club has two sections. One sets for food and beverage and another one connect with restroom and business center. Armchairs are all covered with leather and very comfortable to sit on. In the morning hours, the club serves simple continental breakfast. Good coffee and fresh juice. Eating area is small but clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. You can check in with premier Delta cards or credit cards, such as platinum AMEX. If you depart from F terminal, I highly recommend to rest your feet at Delta Club. Travel in style. read more

A good amount of seating here, much of it well divided into smaller areas so that you're not forced to listen to the jackass on his sales call. After hanging out at an airport restaurant for two hours and spending $100 on a sandwich and a couple of drinks, my bf and I decided to hit the Sky Club. If you have a Delta Amex, it's $29 per person (up to 2 guests). Complimentary drinks and food makes it well worth it and much comfier than sitting at an airport bar. Comfy seats, plenty of outlets for your plug ins and you can watch the people in the security line through the large glass windows lol! Jaqueline, the bartender, is wonderful! Super friendly and sweet lady who made my day even better after being rebooked a few times. The bathrooms are really nice and the lotion in there smells awesome! Delta, well done!! More space than expected to spread out, with some features only found in much larger Clubs. That's what makes this SkyClub a great one! We only had about 30 minutes before our flight, and were surprised that TPA even had a SkyClub. This SkyClub is complete with coffee/espresso machine + Torani syrups, plenty of comfy chairs with hidden plugs in the side tables, and the typical food offerings. Bar is staffed by a bartender (I prefer the self-serve bars that make the Club 21+, but oh well!) and she gladly added some Bailey's to my coffee. The staff members at check-in were very pleasant, and helped us change our seats when the App kept giving us the "we're sorry" message. About 10 minutes into our stay a family with a screaming child came to enjoy the lounge. I know I'm not the only one that is Not Pleased with the parents choice when this happens...but especially when in Terminal E there is a huge play area for children. We decided to get out of there sooner rather than later, but then we discovered the whole opposite side of the lounge! There is an area to the left of the front desk that includes more seating area, fantastic cubes with comfy chairs for those trying to get some work done, and a "quiet area" (wish we had seen that!). This side of the club was empty and way more relaxing. Also, it overlooks some of the E Gates so we were able to time our exit to the lounge exactly with when the boarding process began. One thing that I like that not all lounges have is an area for bag storage, including both cubbies and lockers for the more paranoid. This is a nice touch, especially if you're headed somewhere cold and have coat, hat, scarf, etc. If you've got some time, this lounge is everything you want it to be. read more
