There is a note about the kitchen fee, but in my opinion they should ask before they put it on the bill. Wasn't impressed at all with anything about this place.

He had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get this disgusting drink and watch the owner just sitting at a table instead of trying to expedite orders and helping customers. I too notice this each time I went. I personally stopped going there because the service takes way too long and I don't have an hour to wait around for a sandwich. It's too bad because this place could be so great and we need something like this in Taos, but my prediction is they won't make it without a landline or staff that care.

This is an excellent spot for a quick and friendly coffee break in Angel Fire, New Mexico. If you find the Lowe's Market grocery store, then you'll find this place. Use the same parking lot. It was quite busy on the morning of August 2, 2026, when I went here for an iced lavender honey latte ($8.79 including a tip since I didn't want to use cash) which was delicious and crafted with not too much ice. They also serve breakfast and lunch items, often with specials. I would love to go back if I had the chance.

Tucked away in Taos is one of the most unassuming coffee shops you'll ever find. From the outside, you might drive right past it. Step inside, though, and you'll immediately understand why there's always a line out the door. My daughter and I each ordered iced lattes. She went with vanilla and oat milk, while I stuck with my go-to combination of oat milk and honey. Both drinks were outstanding. Smooth, balanced, and packed with flavor without being overly sweet. I've had coffee all over the United States and in several countries around the world, and these lattes easily rank among my favorites. The coffee impressed us so much that we couldn't leave without grabbing a bag of their light roast to take home. What stood out just as much as the coffee was the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the service was excellent, and despite the constant flow of customers, everyone was smiling. Yes, you'll probably wait in line--but trust me, it's worth every minute. One funny moment from our visit: I had just found an open table when a gentleman told me, "I was saving that one." I laughed, told him to go right ahead...and then watched him walk over and sit at a completely different table. It gave my daughter and me a good laugh and made for one of those random travel memories you don't forget.
