First time trying Adobe in my life and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting fast food like Taco Bell, but found the ingredients and taste to be a notch above a regular fast food chain. I ordered the taco pizza and loved the added ingredients of olives, green onions in addition to the cheese and tomatoes and sauce on top. It's about the same price and the pizza is larger and I don't have to worry about a combo with tacos and a drink. Just give me the pizza and I'm a happy customer. SO HAPPY to know that Adobe makes a delicious Mexican pizza the next time a craving hits. Adios Taco Bell! See ya south of the border or something. lol. read more

DATE & TIME OF VISIT: November 13, 2025 @ 7:45pm. They were not too busy (there was one person waiting for their order at the counter). CLEANLINESS: Things did not look very clean, we were hesitant to even order food with not knowing what it looked like behind the wall where they "cooked" the food! STAFF: We were ignored for 30 minutes before someone asked us if we had ordered (luckily we placed a mobile order) but then it took another 20 minutes to get our food. All the staff were high schoolers who clearly did NOT want to be there and working. Not one smiled. Where is the adult that is supervising these kids?? FOOD: This is what we ordered.... The Burrito Combo (see picture of our what we ordered) -- Taste: AWFUL, tasted worse then Taco Bell and was cold. Not to mention only 1 of the 4 burritos we ordered were made correctly!!! Size: average. Price: about $14.00 OVERALL THOUGHTS: Paid $56 for our family of four. Service was awful. Food tasted horrible, was cold and made incorrectly! WOULD I RETURN? Stopped in because we had never tried them. Expensive restaurant that is in between Taco Bell and a Mexican restaurant (lots of good ones in the area. Chips are in a plastic bag, salsa in plastic containers. Kind of cafeteria style. You order and they shout out when it's ready. Tacos were watery in the bottom, nachos not great either. This place carries the same name as the drive thru location that used to be across the street however I must say that the current food is terrible. The chicken in my wet burrito is sour tasting. Not layered with Mexican spice and hot as you would expect. The red sauce that is upon the burrito resembles and tase more of like a sauce I should pair with noodles. read more

Stopped today at what used to be one of our favorite restaurants. The food was mediocre and not what we remembered at all. Additionally,we were charged a 3% "service fee" (we paid cash). No where is it listed that there is a service fee. When I asked what it was for, the girl at the counter laughed and said she really didn't know how to explain it. Haven't had a bad meal here yet! Initially, I was hesitant to try this place. However, after living here for almost a year and a half I decided to finally give my input. Love eating here but takeout service has been below standard. Ordering 1 enchiladas with meat sauce. Comes with chips and salsa. Last 4 weeks all 4 orders wrong. One was red sauce not meat sauce. One no chips or salsa. One no utensils or salsa. One was a burrito. So if management is reading your takeout is falling apart. From here on out I'll open bag and check every order. Overall the food and service was TERRIBLE I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you are extremely desperate, but even then your better off getting something from Taco Bell. Food- The shredded Chicken was dry and way too salty. The soft shell was very basic, flavorless, and even a little soggy. The taco was topped with a huge pile of soggy, flavorless lettuce and a HUGE amount of salty, soggy, nasty kraft looking cheese. I had to take out almost all of the cheese to make it edible. Lastly there was a very sparse amount of diced tomatoes that were the only real fresh looking thing on the plate. The beans were salty and the consistency of pudding. Absolutely nasty. The rice was barley cooked and crunchy, weirdly sweet tasting and pretty bland. The chips were stale and chewy. Salsa was watery and unappetizing. Overall tasted terrible and looked very sad for being $9. Service- The worker that got our order seemed passive aggressive, bored, and not at all happy to help us. It took a lot longer to get our food than I was expecting especially since all our food was cold. Food quality and service have gone down. Wait times have increased. I wish it was as good as it used to be.

Having moved back to Grandville a could years ago I have been eating Adobe once in awhile again. I have sampled some more of the menu than I had in the past, but that being said I can say it is a firm 3. Pros: I have never had an inaccurate order from here. The food is always warm and seems to be fresh (at least for fast food standards). Cons: The taste of the food. Everything is still so bland. The taco meat tastes unseasoned, the salsa has absolutely no flavor, the cheese is generic and flavorless, the burrito sauces are alright but nothing to write home about, and the same goes for the bean dip. I really want to like Adobe because it is local and decently fresh, but they need to up their flavor profile. I have only tried this location so I am not sure of it's just this location or all of them. read more

Went to adobe and ordered a Chicken quesadilla and 2 chicken soft shell tacos. The chicken in the tacos was full of water and didn't taste like anything. The quesadilla was a blob of cheese and chicken that sat approximately 3 inches high. The staff was all teenage kids who couldn't care less that they represent someones hard earned business, sorry to say but I'm Never going to waste my money there again. read more

I have always been a fan of Adobe. Missing the old restaurant downtown GR, we use to go every Saturday for two years! We now visit the Grandville location about 2-3 times a month. Their food is delicious and the price is reasonable with the exception of their Chips! We do LOVE their Chips yet the price is outrageous! Best Salsa in town! It will be nice once they move across the road to their new location. Maybe they will have chip and bean dip out like they use to downtown? If so we will be going there much more often! read more

After getting pretty scrappy burritos from the Fulton street location 3 months prior, we were in grandville on a Saturday night, hungry and short on time so we decided to give them another chance. So all 3 of us got the dry beef and been burritos to go. So glad we did, all 3 got great burritos from a crew that all looked 15 years old. Really good for fast food. Meaty and well balance - like they used to do on a regular basis. Can't tell you what you get the next time as the quality of food seems to depend on the constantly rotating staff, but for one night, life was good, very good. read more

Two starts for not violating any health codes (that I could see), but otherwise, keep rolling on past this Adobe, nothing good here. Adobe is known locally for their wet burritos, which I can attest from other locations, are good. But the tacos here: gross. Service isn't stellar either. First the food- Shredded chicken tacos were dry, small in size, with generic flour shells, soggy lettuce and tomatoes, with a pile of Kraft cheese on top. The generic salsa provided in a Dixie cup on the side, made it palpable, but not tasty. Beans were just as flavorless and dry. Nothing could recover them and they were thrown out. Service- it wasn't that anyone was rude, they were just completely clueless. We happen to overhear another guest ask where their Diet Coke was (they were half way thru their meal by the time they asked). The person working said that the Diet Coke machine was broken. No apology to this person, who seemed irritated. So he got a regular coke and went back to his table. Since my food hadn't arrived yet, I went up and said I happened to overhear that the diet machine was broken but I ordered two diets. She looks at me, smiles, and says "yes, I know". Uh okay, you knew I ordered that and knew the machine was broken and didn't tell me??? Cool. Thanks. Later when our food came out, the guy didn't know where to bring it, and almost brought it back to the kitchen, had I not chased him down. No apology, just another clueless look. Cool. read more

Worst experience ever when I picked up food on Saturday. I ordered beans & cheese & there was literally a smear of beans on the bottom of the container. The container was nearly empty. They charged me for a hot sauce I didn't even get. I also ordered a taco that was terrible. It tasted like greasy ground beef with no seasoning and there was barely anything in it. I have been coming to this adobe for years along with all of the others including Leonard's location and fultons. Never been disappointed by any of them ever and love the food every time. Unfortunately this time I was really excited to get some adobe I pull up and see a family eating with an employee and I pull up to the drive through and sit for 2 minutes to then hear someone say "oh sorry we're closed" and I thought oh that's odd and I started driving to the Fulton location. I thought once I hit the highway I might as well call and ask what time they close, so I call and after a minute of waiting ringing she answers and I ask what time they close, she then says 8:00....I then respond with so if I was there at 7:50 you would have served me? She then says hold on one moment and gets what I presume to be the manager and I repeat the same thing and get hung up on instead of saying I'm so sorry we made a mistake she just hung up on me. I'm personally offended and think that both the manager and the girl who originally was too lazy to take my order at 7:50 shouldn't have a job there if they don't enjoy being there doing their job. read more

I've been there 3 times in the last 2 months and twice I got the wrong order and this last time the girl taking orders was clueless about the menu. Messed up my $40 food order. At least I only live 25 minutes away so I was able to drive for 75 minutes strait because of incompetency.

We used to stop and get take out at Adobe a few years ago, so we were in the area and thought we would grab a quick bite...things have really changed, and NOT for the good! I will begin by saying that the chips were excellent!! I ordered the wet tostada with a side of guacamole and chips, my husband got beans and cheese. The wet tostada was terrible in that the lettuce and tomato topping was sparse and I couldn't find the tostada (not good flavor at all). The processed guacamole was even worse. It was apparent that the quac was processed as it was very bright green and tasted of preservatives; very disappointing (I threw the 12ozs away after 4 bites). My family has been going to Adobe for food since it was still a full, sit-down restaurant with bar in downtown Grand Rapids. Although the food is not varied or exotic, you get great food, large portions, and all at a good price. Although the shops can be a bit unprofessional (For instance putting new menu items on their drive-thru sign using a sheet of copy paper and tape), that also gives them a somewhat charming local feel. read more

The food is ok and the prices are good. The tacos are a good deal. They give you a ton of hot sauce. My favorite item on the menu is the chips. I'm not sure if they are home made but they have this great amount of salt on them. The beans aren't anything amazing; the cheese is too oily for me. Went there earlier tonight and it was a pretty good experience, while the drive thru guy was very nice, somehow when he handed the burrito to me the box broke open and the meat sauce got all over the inside of the bag. He took the box and bag back from me and they ended up fixing it by putting it in another box and adding more sauce for me. Thanks adobe. read more

This location in particular gets a 2 star review. The food is very inconsistent, ranging from either good to really bad. I've had nice sized great tasting burritos here only to come back the next day and get one that is tiny with almost nothing in it. There are a couple of good workers here and if you hit it just right the experience is good, but most of the time it is just bad food and mediocre service. Avoid unless you are desperate for some mexican food. read more
